For a hardware-focused all-rounder: Xiaomi 17T
The official figures make the 17T a clear candidate to investigate if you want a dedicated long-range camera and a large stated battery capacity without jumping straight to the Ultra model. Xiaomi lists a 5x periscope telephoto, 6500mAh typical battery, 67W charging and a 6.59-inch display. Those are manufacturer specifications, not proof of superior zoom photos, all-day endurance or faster charging in everyday use. Check independent reviews for image quality, runtime and sustained performance before treating the specification sheet as a reason to buy.

Xiaomi itself positions the 17 as an “all-round compact flagship.” That makes it the natural candidate to examine if a flagship experience in a smaller format is the priority. The available official information does not provide enough detail here to compare its dimensions, full camera setup, battery, price or support period with the other models. Confirm those details for the exact regional version and look for independent testing before deciding it is the right compact option.
For imaging-first buyers: Xiaomi 17 Ultra
The 17 Ultra is the flagship candidate to investigate if Xiaomi’s Leica imaging emphasis is central to your choice. Branding and launch positioning cannot show how its photos compare with the 17T or other phones in difficult lighting, video, portraits or zoom. The REDMI Note 15 family belongs on a value shortlist, but “value” depends on the exact model and local price. For a discounted previous generation: Xiaomi 15T
The 15T is worth checking only if it remains available locally at a meaningful discount. Its larger published display diagonal than the 17T’s does not by itself make it better for viewing or easier to handle; actual dimensions and your preference matter. How to compare the candidates without mistaking specs for results
Published specifications help narrow the list, but the official material does not settle several questions that determine which phone is best for an individual buyer:
- Size and display: Compare physical dimensions and weight, not just diagonal measurements. The 17T’s listed display is 6.59 inches; the 15T’s is 6.83 inches. These Xiaomi-published diagonals are useful reference points, but are not a complete measure of one-handed comfort or display quality.

- Charging: Xiaomi lists 67W charging for both the 17T and 15T. That rating alone does not establish how long a full charge takes in practice or whether the relevant charger is included in your market.
- Performance and support: The available official information here does not establish comparative sustained performance or update-support periods. Check reviews and the manufacturer’s current local support information for the exact model.
- Price, stock and warranty: Compare the final price, storage configuration, seller and warranty where you live. A previous-generation phone is attractive only when the local discount makes sense against current alternatives.
Check regional availability before settling on a model
Xiaomi explicitly warns that specific product models and sale dates may vary by region and directs buyers to check with local sellers. The global catalog therefore works as a list of candidates, not as a guarantee of local stock. Before purchase, verify the exact model number and configuration, local network compatibility, warranty coverage and seller return terms. Do not assume that a review of a phone sold in another region describes the version available to you.

On the information established here, the Xiaomi 17T is the most clearly specified all-rounder candidate, not a proven overall winner. The Xiaomi 17, 17 Ultra and REDMI Note 15 models may suit different buyers, but a confident ranking requires local pricing and independent comparative tests.
