Ownership, licenses and DLC
If you already own the PC VR version of Synth Riders, the official Steam listing says Steam Frame access is included at no additional cost. The same listing says all DLC is cross-buy, so purchased add-on content carries over between the supported versions tied to that Steam account.

A PC is conditional, not universal
You do not need a PC merely to own Steam Frame or to use a supported standalone build. You do need a PC when the game is being streamed from your Steam library. Treat “PC VR” and “Steam Frame” as separate entries or modes in the library rather than assuming that one installation proves the other is available.
Network path for streaming
Streaming quality depends on the connection between the headset and the computer. Controller power: what is known and what is not
Because Synth Riders requires tracked controllers, you will eventually need a plan for controller power. A rechargeable AA battery and charger could be a convenient solution if the production Steam Frame controllers use replaceable AA cells. However, the available Valve material does not establish the controller battery format, battery capacity or runtime.
Do not buy a battery system on the assumption that it fits. Check the current controller specification or the label inside the battery compartment first. Re-seat the headset and adjust the strap before purchasing parts. If pressure persists, a replacement face gasket or an ergonomic accessory that changes the contact geometry is the relevant category. Do not tighten the strap indefinitely; excessive pressure can make a session less comfortable without improving tracking.

Take breaks, keep the face interface clean according to Valve’s care guidance and check that the headset is not being worn too loosely. A replacement gasket may help when the original material has become worn, but it will not compensate for an incorrectly adjusted strap.

Light entering around the nose or sides
Reposition the headset and check the light-blocker fit. Valve’s standard light blocker is the official replacement category. Room-darkening changes are optional; they are not a substitute for a correctly seated headset.
Controllers feel insecure during swings
Use the controller straps, adjust your grip and remove slippery accessories.
