The best-supported Vivo phone for photography and video in 2026 is the vivo X300 Ultra. It is a conditional pick, not a winner for everyone. Digital Camera World’s 2026 guide names it the “Best Android phone for video” and calls it “the closest Android has come to challenging the iPhone on video.” The same coverage says it is very expensive and sold in limited markets. Beyond the camera flagships, the evidence is too thin to rank Vivo’s cheaper X, V, T and Y models, so this guide doesn’t pretend to.
The shortlist
vivo X300 Ultra: best for camera and video
This is the Vivo to choose if filming and photography drive the purchase. The specs published in Digital Camera World’s 2026 Android photography guide (last updated 30 June 2026) are:

| Ultrawide | 50MP (14mm equivalent per the review) |
| Front camera | 50MP |

These are published specifications, not the result of a standardized comparison across Vivo models, and megapixel counts alone don’t prove image quality. Confirm the exact figures for your regional variant.

- ALL-DAY BATTERY — 6600mAh battery. 100W wired FlashCharge (0-100% in ~30 min) + 50W wireless FlashCharge. Includes C-to-C charger. IP68/IP69 dust/water resistance. The Chinese version retains the original high-capacity battery and fast charging protocol – no regional downgrade.
The drawbacks are real. The reviewer found it “almost certainly too expensive to really recommend” at its €1,999 launch price, and wrote: “I am just not sure I can justify paying the same as a decent camera system.” That €1,999 is the review’s launch-market price, not a current universal one. Optional accessories raise the cost of a full creator setup. The guide also says availability is limited outside select markets.
vivo X300 Pro: the other current flagship
The X300 Pro is listed beside the Ultra in the vivo Global catalog. The coverage reviewed offers no comparable, current head-to-head test, so there is no basis for calling it better, or better value, than the Ultra. If the Ultra’s price or availability rules it out, the Pro is the natural model to compare in your own market, using vivo’s official comparison tool.

Other current models
The global catalog also lists the X200 FE, X200 Pro and V70, and groups products into X, V, Y and T series. Catalog contents change. No independent tests of these models were reviewed, so none is named a best-value or all-round pick here.
Prices depend on where you live
Vivo’s range and pricing differ by market. The vivo India e-store is evidence for India only. At the time of checking it listed:

- Unlocked Android phone gives you the flexibility to change carriers and choose your own data plan[2]; it works with Google Fi, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other major carriers

| Listing (India) | Configuration | Displayed price |
|---|---|---|
| vivo X300 Ultra | 16GB+512GB | ₹159,999 |
| vivo X300 Ultra Photographer Kit | 16GB+512GB | ₹209,999 |
The kit is a separate, optional listing, so don’t assume the phone includes it. Prices and stock are dynamic. The India store also lists lower-priced T and Y models, but those prices don’t make any of them a “best” phone without independent testing.
How to choose
- Intended use: serious video or telephoto photography points to the X300 Ultra. General use rarely needs that flagship.
- Local total price: include the case, any kit and telephoto lenses.
- Availability and warranty: confirm local stock, seller, network variant and warranty before buying.
- Regional configuration: RAM, storage and specs can differ by country.
Shoppers in Europe asking for the best Vivo under about €600 won’t find an answer in this evidence. The X300 Ultra launched at €1,999 in the review, and no tested mid-range Vivo was available to recommend. For that budget, check local pricing on the other catalog models and wait for independent reviews.
