A course can teach you a specific income process, such as building and selling your own course, running an Etsy shop, or sourcing products for Amazon FBA. The most useful decision is therefore which income model you can realistically pursue, and then which course’s outline fits that model, your weekly study time, and your budget. The four Udemy listings checked on 7 October 2026 cover different models. Two are broad bundles that span several of them, and two are narrower and focused on Etsy.
Choose the income model before the course
Each course below teaches a different route to money. Decide which route you would actually work at before you compare course pages, because the route determines the skills, the startup costs, and how long it takes to see any result.

Teaching your own course
You package what you already know into lessons and sell access to them. The broad bundle that opens this list includes lessons on choosing a topic for Udemy, creating course content, and the equipment and services used to produce a course. This model requires subject expertise you can teach clearly, plus time to record, edit, and promote the material. It does not require inventory.
Selling physical products through Amazon FBA
Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) means you source a product, list it, and send inventory to Amazon, which stores and ships orders. Selling digital downloads on Etsy

Opening a beginner Etsy shop

What the listings can and cannot tell you
The Udemy pages show four kinds of information: the curriculum outline, the last-updated date, the stated requirements, and the publisher’s description. Those help you judge scope and currency.

These claims are made by the course publishers or quoted from students on the listing pages. No independent evidence confirms them, and they should not be read as typical results, forecasts, or proof that you will earn quickly. Judge a course by what it teaches and how current it is, not by its income claims.

Before you buy: a short evaluation sequence
- Name the income model you will test first, and write down the first step you would take in it, such as opening a shop or drafting an outline for a course.
- Open the course page and read the full curriculum. Confirm that the sections you need for your model are actually listed, not just implied by the title.
- Check the last-updated date. If the course includes platform-specific steps and the date is more than a year old, verify those steps with the platform’s current help material before following them.
- Divide the total length by the hours you can study each week. A 56-hour course at 5 hours a week is a commitment of roughly 11 weeks, so decide whether that fits your schedule before paying.
- Read the stated requirements. Make sure you have the equipment and accounts they name.
- Check the price and refund terms on the course page at checkout.
What you need besides the course
- Internet access and a camera or phone: the Etsy bootcamp lists these as requirements, and they are enough for product photography in that course.
- A USB microphone (optional): the broad bundle mentions audio tools for recording lessons. The listing does not require or recommend a particular microphone model, so buy one only if you plan to record your own lessons.
- Platform accounts and fees: selling on Etsy or through Amazon involves account setup and fees that change over time. Check each platform’s current terms directly.
- Startup budget for physical products: Amazon FBA sales generally require buying inventory before you can sell it. Plan for that cost separately from the course price.
Verdict
For most readers, the best Udemy course to make money is the one that matches a single income model and a realistic time budget. If you want to compare several routes and have many hours to spare, the 56-hour bundle is the most complete option on this list. If product selling is your focus, the 47-hour e-commerce course is the tighter choice. If you only need to open an Etsy shop, the beginner bootcamp is the narrowest and most direct. The introductory 2023 course is best used as an overview, with every platform step checked against current sources. None of these courses will guarantee income, so treat any course as a structured start rather than a result.
