There is no official, verified T-GT III force-feedback preset for Gran Turismo 7 yet. Thrustmaster has published the wheel’s hardware specifications, but not recommended positions for GT7’s force-feedback sliders. Until the bundle is released and tested, use a conservative in-game starting point and adjust gradually; treat that as general setup advice, not a proven T-GT III recipe.
Are there official T-GT III settings for GT7?
No numerical T-GT III-specific values for GT7’s force-feedback maximum torque or sensitivity are stated in Thrustmaster’s product announcement and specifications. The page describes the wheel’s capabilities, not the game’s slider settings. That distinction matters: a hardware torque specification does not translate directly into a recommended in-game number.

A practical starting approach
Until model-specific testing is available, start with conservative force-feedback output in GT7 and increase it in small steps until the steering feels informative and comfortable. This is general setup practice, not a Thrustmaster recommendation or a verified anti-clipping threshold.

- Make small changes rather than jumping to maximum output.
- Judge feedback during a representative drive, not from one corner or car alone.
- If the wheel feels uncomfortable or the feedback becomes hard to interpret, reduce the output.
A higher slider value is not automatically better: perceived strength involves a comfort trade-off, and the preferred feel can vary by driver and car. A tested recommendation would need to assess detail, clipping or oscillation, and comfort over a stint across relevant cars.
What the T-GT III hardware specifications tell you
Thrustmaster specifies 5 Nm constant torque and overshoot capacity up to 10 Nm. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements. They describe hardware capability; they do not establish the correct GT7 slider values.

Why older T-GT settings are not a reliable substitute
Do not present settings for the original T-GT or T-GT II as tested T-GT III values unless a source explicitly confirms they carry over. Thrustmaster’s legacy T-GT support page concerns the older model; it is not a T-GT III settings guide.

Gran Turismo’s 2022 force-feedback update notice named the original T-GT among wheels whose force-feedback intensity and torque were temporarily reduced after reports of excessive vibration with certain cars. That notice is historical context for the original T-GT, not a T-GT III preset.
Likewise, the Update 1.31 notice records changes to car physics and several assist settings, and describes a force-feedback algorithm change specifically for wireless-controller handling. It does not give T-GT III wheel values.

What to look for in a tested setup
Once owners can test the released wheel, useful guidance should show how settings behave across different cars and driving conditions rather than claiming a single value wins everywhere. Look for a setup that explains the driver’s preferences and checks:
- force-feedback strength and detail;
- clipping or oscillation behavior;
- comfort over a longer stint; and
- differences between car classes.
Without that evidence, a precise “best” number would imply more certainty than the available product information supports.
