The best TMNT collection depends on which version of the Turtles you want: Arrow Video’s limited-edition trilogy is the clearest fit for fans of the original live-action films, while separate DVD sets cover the complete 1987, 2003, and 2012 animated series. None of these is a complete franchise collection, so choose by era and check the exact edition before buying.

For the original live-action films: Arrow Video trilogy
MVD Entertainment Group’s December 2025 new-release catalog lists Arrow Video’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Trilogy [Limited Edition] in both 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray Disc, with a street date of December 16, 2025. The catalog lists suggested retail prices of $99.95 for 4K Ultra HD and $94.95 for Blu-ray; these are catalog prices, not verified current retailer prices. A June 2026 MVD catalog also lists a trilogy Blu-ray product, but that entry alone does not establish that it is the same edition or that the limited set remains available.
This is the most directly supported choice if you specifically want the first three live-action films in a collector-oriented set. Before ordering, confirm the exact package contents, included extras, region compatibility, and player support in the seller’s listing. The catalog records establish the formats and listings, not image quality or playback compatibility.

For the classic cartoon: 1987 complete-series DVD
The 1987 show has a documented complete-series DVD path. Its home-video record describes an earlier 23-disc collection covering all 193 episodes and bonus features, and reports that Nickelodeon and Paramount Home Entertainment released a new version of The Complete Classic Series Collection on DVD on October 15, 2024. The 193-episode count describes the series; do not assume a reissue has the same disc count, packaging, or bonus content as the earlier set.
Choose this set if the original animated series is the one you want to revisit. Check the precise edition listing for disc count, extras, region, and player compatibility rather than relying on a product title that may not distinguish one release from another.

Individual film editions may suit viewers who do not need a trilogy. Paramount documented DVD and Blu-ray combo editions for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014); its announcement describes the Blu-ray presentation as 1080p high definition and the DVD as standard definition. For Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016), Paramount listed DVD, Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, and 4K Ultra HD combo formats. Its release announcement also describes format presentations and bonus features, including deleted scenes on Blu-ray. These are single-film releases, not franchise collections.

How to choose the right set
- Pick the incarnation first. Decide whether you want the original live-action trilogy or the 1987, 2003, or 2012 cartoon. “Complete” refers to the scope of that particular series or set, not the whole franchise.
- Match the format to your equipment. The trilogy is cataloged in 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray; the cited complete animated-series options are DVD. Check that your player supports the format and the disc’s region.
- Verify the exact edition. Compare the listing’s disc count, extras, packaging, language and subtitle details, and region information against what you need. These details are not established for every set by the cited records.
- Check live seller information. Confirm current price and stock with the retailer. The MVD suggested retail prices and street dates are catalog information, not proof of today’s selling price or availability.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
