Which F16 configuration makes more sense?
The 6GB/128GB listing costs ₹1,500 more than the 4GB/128GB listing. Both fit the stated budget at the listed prices. If you keep many apps open or plan to hold on to the phone for longer, the additional memory may be worth considering; the listing data alone does not establish how either variant performs in real-world use. Check that the retailer’s product page and checkout both show the intended RAM and storage before paying.

What does the Galaxy F16 offer beyond its display?
Smartprix lists a 6.7-inch 1080 × 2340 display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, a 5,000mAh battery and 25W charging. Its listed cameras are 50MP, 5MP and 2MP on the rear, plus a 13MP front camera; the entry also specifies Android 15. 91mobiles identifies the panel as Super AMOLED. These are comparison-site specifications, not independent measurements or a hands-on assessment.
The F16 is not a new 2026 launch: 91mobiles gives its release date as March 13, 2025. Its relevance here is that it still appears below the budget ceiling in October 2026 listings, not that it is the newest phone in the category.

Is the Galaxy M17 5G a current alternative?
The M17 is a relevant model to check, but the available price evidence is historical rather than a confirmed October 2026 deal. Samsung’s October 13, 2025 announcement specified a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, an Exynos 1330 processor and a 5,000mAh battery. Samsung stated 1100 nits HBM peak brightness and announced launch prices of ₹12,499 for 4GB/128GB and ₹13,999 for 6GB/128GB. It said sales would begin on October 13, 2025 through Amazon, Samsung.com and select retail stores. These launch details do not establish its current price or stock.
Samsung also promised six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates for the M17. Treat that as the manufacturer’s stated support commitment. Before comparing the M17 with the F16 as a purchase, verify a current listing and checkout price. Samsung’s launch announcement provides the specifications, launch pricing and support statement.

Why the Galaxy M16 needs a stock check
The Galaxy M16 5G is another Super AMOLED model, but Samsung India labels the specified 6GB/128GB configuration “Not for sale.” Its official specification page describes a 6GB/128GB version with a 1080 × 2340 Super AMOLED panel, refresh rates up to 90Hz, 128GB storage and microSD expansion up to 1.5TB. It also lists a 5,000mAh battery, USB-C, 5G bands, 50MP+5MP+2MP rear cameras and a 13MP front camera. Samsung states that its security-update period is valid until October 31, 2030. These details describe the configuration, not proof that it can currently be bought. Samsung India’s M16 product page shows the stated sale status and specifications.

- Final price: Confirm the live checkout total is within ₹15,000; comparison-site prices can change.
- Exact variant: Check RAM and storage on the retailer’s page, in the cart and on the order confirmation.
- Seller and stock: Confirm that the listing is in stock and identify the seller. A product or specification page alone does not establish availability.
- Returns and warranty: Read the seller’s return conditions and the warranty terms that apply to the phone you are ordering.
- Your priorities: Compare refresh rate, processor, battery and charging, storage, and software-support commitments rather than choosing on the display label alone.
The available listings and manufacturer pages do not provide comparable independent tests of display quality, speed, cameras or battery life. They support a shortlist and specification comparison, not a definitive performance ranking.
