What order should you play the Spider-Man games?
- Start with Marvel’s Spider-Man. On PS5, choose Remastered; on PS4, the listed version is the Game of the Year Edition. Both include The City That Never Sleeps expansion. If you want the complete first-game story, play its three expansion chapters after the main game and before Miles Morales. PlayStation

Which game should you choose if you only want one?
Choose Remastered for Peter Parker’s complete starting story
It introduces the original Peter Parker storyline and includes The City That Never Sleeps chapters. It is the clearest first choice if you want to follow the series from the beginning on PS5.
Choose Miles Morales for a shorter, Miles-centered entry point
This is the Miles-led follow-up, available on both PS4 and PS5. It is also a good fit if playing as Miles is your main priority and you do not require the full series chronology first.

This is the newest entry in the story and lets you switch between Peter and Miles. PlayStation describes its playable New York as spanning Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, with Web Wings for traversal. It is a PS5 game, not a PS4 option.
