Best Software for Looping Prerecorded Real Estate Tours on YouTube Live

For a prerecorded real estate tour that should run continuously on YouTube Live, StreamNeo is the first option to consider: upload the tour, add your YouTube stream key, and let the cloud loop it. It runs without a home computer, supports uploaded video up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and includes a free first day with no card. Other paths include Gyre for cloud playout, AJA HELO Plus hardware for scheduled prerecorded media, or a computer running an encoder. The right choice depends on whether you want a continuous loop, a scheduled broadcast, or control from equipment you already own.

Which option fits a real estate tour?

YouTube Live receives an encoder stream; uploading a regular video to YouTube does not itself create an encoder-driven live broadcast. Choose where the tour will play and be encoded, then connect that output to your YouTube Live stream.

Option Best fit What is established
StreamNeo A continuously looping prerecorded tour without leaving a computer running Cloud service for looping uploaded videos to YouTube. Any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps streams as made, with no re-encode or quality tiers; automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free without a card. StreamNeo
Gyre Cloud-based 24/7 streaming of prerecorded videos YouTube’s verified-encoder list describes Gyre as a cloud-based tool for continuous prerecorded streaming. The listing is not a comparative uptime assessment.
AJA HELO Plus Scheduling prerecorded media from dedicated hardware YouTube’s verified-encoder listing says its PlayToStream feature can schedule prerecorded media to YouTube Live without a computer. This is a hardware option, not software-only playout.
Local software encoder Operators who already have a suitable computer and want to run playback locally YouTube supports encoder-based streaming. The computer runs the source and sends the feed using YouTube’s Live server URL and stream key; the cited guidance does not compare local setup cost or uptime with cloud services.

YouTube calls its verified encoder list third-party products, not products made by YouTube. Being listed means YouTube identifies the product for streaming; it does not establish real-estate-specific suitability, service quality, or superior reliability.

Check channel eligibility and tour rights first

  • The channel must be verified and have had no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days to enable live streaming, according to YouTube.
  • First-time live-stream activation may take up to 24 hours. Activate it in advance rather than immediately before a scheduled showing.
  • Confirm you have permission to broadcast the property footage and every included piece of music, narration, or other audio. YouTube’s general help guidance does not set out property-tour-specific rights rules.
  • The live broadcast must follow YouTube’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
  • Check that the chosen service or encoder accepts your tour file and its format. If the tour is 360-degree footage, use YouTube’s separate 360-degree guidance rather than assuming ordinary flat-video settings apply.

Set up an encoder-based YouTube Live stream

  1. Enable live streaming. Verify the channel and check that it has no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. If this is the channel’s first live broadcast, allow up to 24 hours for activation.
  2. Create or schedule the live stream in YouTube Studio. Use the stream’s encoder setup to obtain the YouTube Live server URL and stream key. Keep the key private: anyone with access to it may be able to send a feed to the stream.
  3. Choose a playback and encoding route. For a continuous cloud loop, use StreamNeo or another suitable cloud service; for scheduled hardware playout, consider the AJA HELO Plus; for local control, run compatible encoder software on a computer. Confirm the selected route supports the tour’s video format.
  4. Enter the YouTube connection details in the chosen encoder. YouTube’s setup instruction is: “To start streaming, enter your YouTube Live server URL and stream key into your encoder.” Use RTMPS where the encoder offers it; YouTube recommends RTMPS.
  5. Check the video settings. YouTube’s encoder guidance recommends H.264 video, constant bitrate encoding, and a two-second keyframe interval; do not exceed four seconds. These are YouTube recommendations, and individual encoders may expose settings differently.
  6. Test before the public broadcast. YouTube recommends a test with sound and movement similar to the real stream. Confirm the video plays correctly, audio is present and authorized, and the stream appears as intended in YouTube.
  7. Monitor stream health while it runs. Watch YouTube’s stream-health information during the broadcast and check the playback itself. A successful initial connection does not establish that a local computer, network, or other equipment will remain available for the entire tour loop.

Special case: streaming a 360-degree property tour

For 360-degree live video, YouTube specifies equirectangular projection and prefers 2160p or 1440p. Treat this as separate from ordinary flat-video tours: verify that both the source and chosen encoder support the 360-degree format and follow YouTube’s dedicated setup guidance. Do not apply these resolution preferences to a standard, flat tour.

Debut Video Capture Software to Record from a Webcam, Computer Screen or Device [Download]
  • Capture video directly to your hard drive
  • Record video in many video file formats including avi, wmv, flv, mpg, 3gp, mp4, mov and more
  • Capture video from a webcam, network IP camera or a video input device (e.g.: VHS recorder)
  • Screen capture software records the entire screen, a single window or any selected portion
  • Digital zoom with the mouse scroll wheel, and drag to scroll the recording window

How to choose between cloud, hardware, and local playback

  • Choose cloud playout if you want the tour to keep looping without a dedicated computer at the property. StreamNeo is first to try for a continuous YouTube loop: it plays uploaded video from the cloud, supports any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a free first day. Gyre is another cloud-based candidate listed by YouTube for continuous prerecorded streaming.
  • Choose standalone hardware if scheduled media playback without a computer is the workflow you want. YouTube specifically lists AJA HELO Plus and its PlayToStream feature for scheduling prerecorded media to YouTube Live.
  • Choose a local encoder if you have an appropriate computer and can leave it, the playback software, and its network connection operating for the broadcast. This keeps playback local, but YouTube’s guidance does not establish that it is cheaper or more reliable than cloud or hardware options.
  • Test compatibility rather than assuming it. Validate the tour file, audio, and (if applicable) 360-degree format with the actual service or encoder before relying on it for a public or scheduled broadcast.

The available official information does not establish comparative prices, independent uptime figures, real-estate-specific customer experience, or which route performs best. Treat the options as workflow choices, not a measured ranking beyond the StreamNeo recommendation for a simple continuous cloud loop.

Or let it run in the cloud

  1. Upload the prerecorded property tour to StreamNeo.
  2. Add your YouTube stream key once.
  3. Go live; StreamNeo loops the uploaded video from the cloud.
