1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsIf you want a current Samsung phone with an S Pen built into the handset, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is the clearest choice. Samsung says the S26, S26+ and S26 FE do not support S Pen functionality. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is the previous-generation alternative to compare at current prices. One important trade-off: the S26 Ultra’s included S Pen has no Bluetooth or Air Actions.
Samsung phones with a built-in S Pen: the shortlist
| Phone | Why consider it | What to check |
|---|---|---|

| Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra | A previous-generation Ultra to consider if its current price suits your budget. Samsung lists it as compatible with the Ultra S Pen design. | Compare live pricing and storage against the S26 Ultra; no current price advantage is established here. |
Samsung’s S26 comparison says the regular Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 FE do not support S Pen functionality. Earlier Ultra and Note phones are part of Samsung’s broader S Pen-compatible lineup, but compatibility and included pen features vary by model. Check the documentation for the exact phone before buying a replacement or separate pen. Samsung’s S Pen compatibility guide explains those differences.

What the Galaxy S26 Ultra S Pen can do
Samsung documents several built-in pen workflows on the S26 Ultra:
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →- Write and keep notes: Use Air Command to create or view notes. Samsung also describes screen-off memos and quick notes.
- Mark up the display: Screen Write lets you write on the screen.
- Select or translate content: Air Command includes AI Select and Translate.
- Handwrite in text fields: Samsung says handwriting can be converted when writing directly in text input areas.
- Draw and write: The pen supports drawing and handwriting; Samsung lists a 0.7 tip and 4,096 pressure levels.
These are manufacturer-documented capabilities, not independent performance-test results. For Samsung’s instructions, see Use the S Pen with Galaxy S26 Ultra.

What the S26 Ultra’s included pen cannot do
Samsung says the Galaxy S26 Ultra S Pen has no Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and does not support Air Actions. Do not expect the built-in pen to act as a remote camera shutter, media controller or gesture remote. Older Ultra pens may offer different features, so their capabilities should not be assumed to apply to the S26 Ultra.
Samsung separately lists the S Pen Pro as compatible with the S26 Ultra and S25 Ultra, with Bluetooth and Air Actions. It is an optional standalone stylus, not the pen built into either phone; check Samsung’s S Pen compatibility guide for model details.

How to choose between the S26 Ultra and S25 Ultra
Pick the Galaxy S26 Ultra for the current S26-family S Pen option
Choose it if you want Samsung’s current S26-family phone with an integrated S Pen and the listed Ultra specifications. Samsung estimates up to 31 hours of video playback for the S26 Ultra, based on a test using a saved 720p video. That is a manufacturer estimate, not a guaranteed usage time; Samsung says actual playback varies with factors including network, settings, format, brightness and battery condition. See Samsung’s S26 Ultra vs. S25 Ultra comparison for the estimate and test qualification.

Check before you buy
- Verify current US availability, configuration and price with the seller; stock and pricing change.
- Confirm the exact model’s S Pen compatibility and features rather than relying on the word “Ultra” or the specifications of an older pen.
- If remote controls or Air Actions are essential, the S26 Ultra’s included pen is not the answer. Check compatibility and current availability for a separate S Pen Pro.
- If replacing a lost pen, verify fit for your specific phone. Samsung says replacement S Pens are available, but stock and model fit should be checked before ordering.
Samsung’s published information establishes S Pen eligibility and selected specifications, but it does not provide an independent comparison of pen latency, durability, battery life or user experience. The recommendations above are based on built-in pen availability and documented features, not hands-on testing.
