For the clearest model-specific fit evidence, start with Belkin’s F7M006, F7M007, or F7M008: Belkin lists all three for both the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. Belkin’s F8M940-C00 is another option described as designed for both phones in a Best Buy listing. These are compatibility claims, not proof of secure fit during a run; check current availability, case clearance, and return terms before buying.
Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge armbands at a glance
| Option | Phone compatibility evidence | What the listing establishes | What to check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Belkin F7M006, F7M007, or F7M008 | Belkin’s support FAQ lists each for Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. Belkin support FAQ | Belkin states a two-year hardware warranty for these armband products; regional terms may apply. | Confirm the specific model is available and whether your phone’s protective case fits. |
| Belkin F8M940-C00 | A Best Buy product listing describes it as designed for Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. Best Buy listing | The listing provides model-fit evidence, not a current-stock guarantee. | Check listing status, case clearance, and returns. |
| Arae universal running armband | The product page names both Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge among supported models. Arae product page | The page describes multifunctional pockets for small items. | Verify dimensions, case-on fit, and whether the screen is accessible as you need. |
| MOEX full-cover armband pouch | MediaMarkt lists a full-cover neoprene fitness case with armband for Galaxy S6 Edge. MediaMarkt listing | The listing identifies a full-cover design; regional offer and availability may change. | Confirm it is specifically the S6 Edge version and check current local availability and returns. |

ARMOR-X product page | The armband mount is not included by default with the case listing. | Confirm the mount is sold separately or included in the exact configuration you select. |
Which option makes the most sense?
Choose Belkin for the strongest explicit model match
Belkin’s FAQ is the most direct manufacturer compatibility reference here: it names the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge for the F7M006, F7M007, and F7M008. Its two-year hardware warranty statement applies to those listed models, subject to applicable regional terms. The F8M940-C00 is a second exact-model option in a retailer listing, but that listing does not establish present inventory.

Choose a universal armband if you need pockets
Arae’s page names both phones and describes small-item storage. Because “universal” does not establish a snug fit for a particular phone-and-case combination, compare the product’s dimensions with your setup and confirm the return policy.

Choose a full-cover pouch if coverage matters more than direct screen access
The MOEX listing describes a full-cover neoprene case with an armband for the S6 Edge. A full-cover pouch can limit direct screen use while the phone is enclosed, so confirm how the listing’s design handles access before ordering.

Consider ARMOR-X only if you want its case-and-mount system
ARMOR-X’s S6/S6 Edge case page describes a case ecosystem with an optional running armband mount. Do not assume the mount comes with the case: verify the exact package contents.
Check fit before taking an armband on a run
- Match the exact phone: Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are separately named in some listings. Buy only when the product page explicitly supports your model.
- Check case clearance: Compatibility with a bare phone does not prove a phone in a protective case will fit. Compare dimensions or ask the seller, and check return terms.
- Decide how you need to use the screen: A full-cover pouch differs from an armband that leaves the display accessible. Listing evidence here does not establish touchscreen performance while enclosed.
- Check retention and adjustment details: Confirm how the phone is held, the strap’s arm-size adjustment range, and whether the product describes a secure closure. The cited listings do not establish which model stays most secure while running.
- Review care and protection claims carefully: Compatibility or a product’s material description does not prove sweat protection or waterproofing for the whole setup.
- Confirm current terms: These are accessories for older phone models, so stock, regional offers, warranty terms, and return policies can vary or change.
What the compatibility evidence cannot tell you
The cited manufacturer and retailer pages identify phone compatibility and, in some cases, construction or storage features. They do not provide controlled comparisons of running security, comfort, sweat resistance, or touchscreen behavior, and they do not establish case-on fit across different protective cases. Treat the options as leads to verify against your own phone, case, arm, and intended use—not as a tested performance ranking.
