To prevent the Elven Queen from awakening an ancient god, you’ll need to master grid-based battles, recruit allies, and fulfill your duty!” That makes three useful comparison filters: classic fantasy, a party that gains allies, and turn-based combat on a grid. A game can still appeal if it matches only one or two of these, but it will feel different in play.
