Destructoid’s current guide names these candidates: Andrey Santos, Lavia, Barco, Jobe Bellingham, Joelinton, Marc Bernal, Carlos Baleba, Charles TOTW, Alvero, Miles Lewis-Skelly, Renato Sanches, Bouaddi, and Ethan Mbappe. The guide presents them as suggestions, not a ranked list, and does not provide player-by-player attribute comparisons or match testing. Check whether your exact card is eligible
Destructoid reports that Regista Realm accepts CDM or CM cards with no more than 80 overall, 83 pace, and 7 PlayStyles. Its guide lists ST, CAM, and CB as excluded positions. These are third-party-reported entry rules, not verified official requirements. If the live Evolution screen differs, follow the in-game requirements.

- Check the position on the exact card variant you intend to evolve.
- Compare that card’s overall, pace, and PlayStyle count with the live entry limits.
- Confirm eligibility in the Evolution screen before committing; different versions of the same player may not share the same attributes or position.
FUTWIZ can help locate card versions, but the game’s live eligibility check is the one that matters. EA’s ratings database also changes over time and has a distinct scope: the Portuguese-language page displayed 19,789 results when accessed October 4, 2026, while EA’s launch announcement described the game more broadly as featuring 21,000+ players from 800+ clubs and national teams. Choose the final upgrade branch for your midfield role
Destructoid reports three upgrade levels. The first adds overall, balance, sprint speed, composure, and a skill move. The second improves passing-related stats, free kicks, vision, composure, and weak foot. At level three, the Evolution splits into two options with different priorities:

These are interpretations of the reported upgrade attributes, not tested performance verdicts. Before choosing, compare the final in-game preview with the player’s intended job and the midfielders already in your squad. The available guide does not establish a universal winner among the named candidates.
How to compare candidates without a false ranking
- Start with eligible variants. Use the live Evolution screen to check position and entry limits for each exact card.
- Decide on the final role. Prioritize Option A’s defensive upgrades or Option B’s agility and ball control according to how you use the midfielder.
- Compare the final preview. Check the attributes and added PlayStyle shown in game, then judge whether they improve your squad’s particular midfield role.
- Choose the card you are willing to commit. Do not assume a recommendation applies to every version of that player; card attributes and eligibility can differ.
What completion requirements are currently reported?
Destructoid reports two matches at each of the three levels, using the active Evolution player. Its guide says matches can be played in Squad Battles on at least Semi-Pro difficulty, Rush, Rivals, Champions, or Live Events. Check the active objective text in game before starting, since these requirements are third-party-reported and the live objectives are authoritative.

What the available evidence can—and cannot—show
EA announced that FC 27 launched worldwide on September 25, 2026, for PS5, PS4, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo platforms. Its announcement’s 21,000+ players from 800+ clubs and national teams figure describes the game broadly; it says nothing about Regista Realm’s eligible pool. EA’s launch announcement
The candidate guide and databases can help identify cards, entry conditions, and upgrade attributes, but the sources do not provide Regista Realm completion rates, a tested comparison of the named players, or a verified best overall pick. Choose from the cards your live game accepts, then make the branch decision from the final preview and your preferred role.
