There is no confirmed “best” PS5 settings preset for Forza Horizon 6 yet. Playground Games has announced that the PS5 version is coming later in 2026, but has not published its graphics, audio, or controller menus. The Xbox Series X|S graphics modes are not evidence of what the PS5 version will offer. For now, the reliable guidance is to distinguish confirmed features from settings that still need PS5-specific information.
What PS5 players can confirm now
Playground Games announced Xbox Series X|S and PC availability for May 19, 2026, and said the PS5 version would arrive later in 2026. Its FAQ says PS5 players can wishlist the game through the PlayStation Store, but does not give a PS5 release date. Read the official Forza Horizon 6 FAQ.

The game is set in Japan and features more than 550 real-world cars, according to the official Forza Horizon 6 page. Playground Games has also confirmed full controller remapping across platforms, as well as accessibility features including customizable High Contrast Mode and Proximity Radar. No reviewed official source establishes the PS5 version’s resolution, frame-rate target, ray tracing options, graphics presets, or a Quality/Performance selector. Playground Games has described Quality and Performance rendering modes for Xbox Series X|S; those are platform-specific details and should not be treated as PS5 options. Once the PS5 build and its menus are available, check the in-game display or graphics menu for the options actually exposed on that console. If it offers a choice between image quality and smoothness, choose based on your display and preference—but no PS5 mode names, resolutions, frame rates, or recommended selection are confirmed here.
Audio: sound design is confirmed, settings are not
Forza describes remastered engine audio, more detailed surface-interaction sounds created with acoustic modelling, and field recordings made across Japan’s four seasons. These details describe the game’s sound design, not an optimal PS5 mix or output configuration. Read the official audio feature article.

Playground Games confirms full controller remapping functionality on all platforms. The published information does not identify the PS5 default layout, steering sensitivity, dead zones, vibration settings, or a best button arrangement. It also does not confirm DualSense adaptive-trigger or haptic features. The official accessibility overview establishes remapping, but not those PS5-specific details.

After the PS5 build is available, use its control menu to remap buttons if the defaults do not suit your preferred driving style or accessibility needs. Treat any sensitivity, dead-zone, or vibration values as settings to evaluate in that build—not as known recommendations before the PS5 controls are documented.

High Contrast Mode
Playground Games says High Contrast Mode is customizable and makes objects easier to distinguish. Its PS5 defaults and exact menu location have not been published.

Proximity Radar helps identify cars in blind spots. Playground Games notes particular usefulness in cockpit, hood, or bumper views. The official description does not specify PS5 defaults.

A useful “best settings” guide needs the PS5 build’s actual options and platform-specific evidence. For graphics, that means the modes and their trade-offs; for audio, the available output and mix controls; for controller, the PS5 layout and control parameters. Until those details are published or observable in the PS5 version, numerical presets and claims about the best configuration would be guesswork.
