Feedback system and adjustment
The clearest distinction in the listed models is how their makers describe feedback: Direct Drive for the DD Pro, dual-belt for the T300RS GT Edition, hybrid feedback with three modes for the T248, TRUEFORCE for the G923 and Driving Force feedback for the G29. These labels describe different approaches; they do not establish which wheel feels better, is stronger in practice or suits your driving style. If adjustability matters, the T248’s three modes are an explicit feature to compare. For any model, check current documentation for the settings available in the wheel and in GT7.

What comes in the box
Compare the complete bundle rather than the wheel name alone. The DD Pro guide explicitly lists a wheel, base, pedals and desk clamp, but that does not guarantee every regional or current package is identical. For the other models, confirm whether the listing includes the pedals and any clamp or mounting hardware you need. Do not assume an accessory such as a shifter is bundled: the G29’s Driving Force Shifter is described as optional.
Controls and game-specific features
On-wheel controls, a display, launch features or a particular feedback effect can matter only if they work as expected with your console, region and game. The G923 guide description includes a programmable dual-clutch launch feature and on-wheel controls, but does not establish how every feature integrates with GT7. Check Logitech’s support information for the exact PlayStation product and game before treating those features as a deciding advantage.

Mounting, space and total cost
Measure the desk or stand where you will use the wheel, and check the clamp’s required surface thickness, clearance and mounting method in the current product documentation. If you plan to use a dedicated stand or cockpit, verify fit and included mounting hardware for the specific wheel; the available guide does not establish compatibility with particular stands or cockpits.
Compare the full setup cost for your region: wheel-and-pedal bundle, any required mounting gear, optional shifter and, for the DD Pro, the separately sold boost kit if you want its higher listed torque. The guide lists 5 Nm maximum torque for the DD Pro and says the optional kit raises it to 8 Nm; it does not provide a comparable price set for these models. How do the leading options differ?
Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro: a Direct Drive option
PlayStation calls the DD Pro the official Direct Drive wheel for Gran Turismo and says it was designed with Polyphony Digital. It is the most clearly specified Direct Drive candidate in this group: the guide lists a 5 Nm maximum, a bundle with wheel, base, pedals and desk clamp, and a separately sold boost kit that increases maximum torque to 8 Nm. Those details make it easier to assess the package, but do not establish value for money or superiority in measured performance. Check the current regional bundle and add-on availability.
Thrustmaster T300RS GT Edition: dual-belt feedback
The guide describes a dual-belt force-feedback system and brushless motor, and characterizes the system as fast, powerful and smooth. Treat those as product descriptions, not proof that it outperforms another model or as a guarantee of durability. Check the included pedals and mounting hardware in the exact listing.

Thrustmaster T248: adjustable hybrid modes
The T248 is described as PS5- and PS4-licensed, with three adjustable hybrid feedback modes. That gives shoppers a concrete adjustment feature to compare, but the guide does not quantify how the modes differ or compare their output with the other wheels.
Logitech G923 and G29: verify the exact PlayStation version
Both models appear in PlayStation Direct’s US racing-wheel category. The G923’s listed TRUEFORCE, launch feature, controls and progressive brake resistance are features to verify against the game and product variant you intend to buy. The G29’s listed 900-degree rotation and nonlinear brake pedal are distinct specifications, not evidence that it is a better or worse choice. PlayStation Direct’s category establishes their presence in the US category, not current stock, price or availability in other regions.

Thrustmaster T-GT II: do not infer GT7 support from the cited description
PlayStation’s page describes the T-GT II as PS5- and Gran Turismo-licensed, but its GT-specific description refers to Gran Turismo Sport. That wording alone does not establish current GT7 compatibility. Verify the manufacturer’s current support documentation for the exact model before treating it as a GT7 recommendation.
