For a small business printing about 100 pages a month, start by comparing business inkjet all-in-one printers. HP places 50–200 monthly pages in that category, but that is manufacturer guidance—not an independent model ranking or a guarantee that every inkjet fits your workflow. The available specifications do not establish one best current printer, so choose by features, supply costs and current price rather than a supposed universal winner.
First clarify what “100 pages” means for your business
Printer volume can be described as printed sides or sheets of paper. The cited manufacturer guidance does not clarify which interpretation applies, so decide whether your estimate means about 100 printed sides or 100 physical sheets. If you often print on both sides, the distinction affects paper use and the value of automatic duplex printing.

HP’s official buying guide calls monthly volume the “single strongest indicator” of printer type. It places 50–200 pages per month in the business inkjet all-in-one category, describing that class as a balance of speed, cost per page and paper capacity. This is useful as a starting point for a 100-page workload, not proof that a particular model is the best choice. Read HP’s volume guidance.

Business inkjet all-in-one
Begin here if the office needs to print, scan and copy, especially if it also needs color. An all-in-one can handle invoices, forms and occasional marketing materials without requiring separate devices. Check whether the scanner and document handling match your real tasks; “all-in-one” alone does not say how quickly or conveniently it will process a stack of pages.

Refillable ink-tank all-in-one
Compare a tank-based model if you want refillable ink and are weighing ongoing supply costs. HP positions its Smart Tank range for low-to-medium printing. Its page describes included-ink examples based on 8,000 or 6,000 total pages for eligible models, corresponding to stated assumptions of 200 or 167 pages per month; HP also says actual yield varies with content and other factors. These figures are manufacturer examples, not a promise of a particular lifespan or proof that a tank printer has the lowest total cost at 100 pages per month. See HP’s Smart Tank information.
Monochrome laser
If you print only black-and-white documents, monochrome laser printers may be worth including in your own comparison. The cited specifications do not establish whether a laser model is more economical or better suited to your workload than an inkjet, so compare the printer price and replacement supplies for the models you are considering rather than assuming one technology wins.

How to choose among candidate models
- List the jobs the printer must do. Decide whether you need color, scanning, copying and automatic two-sided printing. If scanning is routine, consider how documents are fed and copied, not just whether a scanner is present.
- Estimate supply cost for your own mix of pages. Compare the printer’s current price with the cost and expected yield of its ink or toner. Color graphics and mostly text pages can consume supplies differently; do not treat a manufacturer’s included-ink example as a guaranteed yield for your business.
- Check paper capacity against your workflow. A larger tray may reduce interruptions, but the cited sources do not provide a cross-model capacity comparison. Confirm capacity on the exact model’s specification page.
- Confirm connectivity and compatibility. Check that the printer supports the computers, phones, network and connection method your staff actually use.
- Check the warranty and current price for your region. Availability, warranty terms and prices can change; confirm them on the seller or manufacturer page before buying.
What the cited model specifications do—and do not—tell you
| Printer | Established details | What is not established for this workload |
|---|---|---|
| Epson WorkForce ET-4750 Business Edition | Epson lists a recommended monthly page volume of up to 800 pages and a maximum monthly duty cycle of 5,000 pages. Epson product page. | Those ratings do not establish that it is the best fit for about 100 pages monthly. The cited page does not provide a comparison proving it beats other models on cost or workflow. |
| Brother MFC-T580DW | Brother describes it as a wireless color inkjet all-in-one with duplex printing and a three-year limited warranty. Brother product page. | The available product details do not establish a recommended monthly volume, so they do not validate it specifically for a 100-page workload. |
These specifications are not directly comparable measures of value: a recommended volume, a maximum duty cycle, feature details and warranty terms answer different questions. Neither cited product specification supplies a current cross-brand price or a complete cost-of-ownership comparison.

How to make the final decision
Shortlist business inkjet all-in-ones first if you need color and scan/copy functions, then compare tank-based alternatives if refillable ink is important. For every candidate, add its current purchase price to the likely cost of the supplies you will need, and verify duplex, capacity, connectivity and warranty on the exact model. The evidence supports a printer category for this volume, not a single model recommendation; choose only after checking current specifications and prices for your market.
