There is no verified “best” PicSay Pro font for quotes, because the developer doesn’t publish a list of font names. Shinycore Software’s product page says only that you can add text using “titles and word balloons with different styles and fonts.” What you can do is pick the right text object, then choose a style by readability, tone and contrast. This guide covers both.
What the official sources confirm about fonts
- The PicSay Pro product page says: “Add text to your pictures using titles and word balloons with different styles and fonts.”
- The PicSay FAQ says PicSay Pro “has more stickers, fonts, effects, and a lot of other features” than the free edition. If the free version’s font choice feels limited, that is the documented difference.
- Neither page names any typeface, so any article that ranks specific PicSay Pro fonts as “best” is not working from official documentation. The help page is also old, so menu labels and available fonts may differ by app build and Android version.
Title or Word Balloon: choose the object first
Title for standalone quotes
For a pull quote, a caption or an inspirational line laid over a photo, use a Title. It is the cleaner container, with no tail pointing at a speaker.

Word Balloon for spoken lines
Use a Word Balloon when the quote is attributed to a person in the photo, such as a quote from a speaker or a funny line for a pet. The balloon also gives the text its own background, which helps on busy images.

- Open your picture in PicSay.
- Tap Stickers and choose Title or Word Balloon.
- Type the quote, then move and resize the object.
- Select the object, or open its context menu, and choose Edit. PicSay Help says text and style are changed here, and font options sit in this editor.
- Check the result at the size you will share it. If the words don’t stand out, change the style or placement.
How to choose a font style for a quote
These are general typography principles, not test results from PicSay Pro. Because the font names aren’t documented, judge each option on the screen by what it looks like.

Decorative styles are easier to read across a few words than across several lines, so reserve them for short emphasis. Always do a final check at the display size, such as a phone feed, since small text that looks fine while editing can become hard to read once shared.
Can you add more fonts to PicSay Pro?
The official sources don’t document installing custom fonts. A third-party Android app catalog mentions a font pack for use with PicSay Pro, saying to open the Title Editor’s font menu. That listing is a lead only: current availability, installation, licensing and compatibility with recent Android versions aren’t confirmed by Shinycore. If you try one, download from a source you trust and check the licence before posting quote graphics commercially.
