Best Phones Like the Motorola Signature and HONOR 90: What to Compare

The Motorola Signature and HONOR 90 suit different budgets and priorities, so there is no single best substitute for both. For a premium, non-folding Android phone, compare the Signature with the OnePlus 15 and Samsung Galaxy S25. For a midrange phone in the HONOR 90’s class, consider the Google Pixel 7a and Samsung Galaxy A54 5G—but check current local pricing, stock and remaining software support before choosing.

Why the Motorola Signature and HONOR 90 are different comparison searches

The Signature is positioned as a premium Android phone, while the HONOR 90 launched as a midrange model. Their launch prices illustrate the gap, but are historical figures, not current prices: TechRadar reported UK HONOR 90 launch prices of £449.99 for 8GB/256GB and £499.99 for 12GB/512GB in 2023. Signature launch coverage reported £899.99 in the UK and €999 in other global markets in 2026. Actual availability, configuration and price depend on market and seller. Use the Signature as a reference point if you want flagship-class performance, a dedicated telephoto camera and high-end charging. Use the HONOR 90 as a reference point if you value a bright, high-resolution display, a high-megapixel main camera and midrange pricing. The alternatives below come from launch- or review-era comparisons, not a fresh 2026 head-to-head ranking.

Which phones are similar to the Motorola Signature?

Launch coverage names the OnePlus 15 and Samsung Galaxy S25 as premium competitors to compare with the Signature. The available information does not establish current prices, full regional specifications or direct test results for those models, so treat them as a shortlist rather than a declared ranking. Confirm the model and configuration sold in your country.

Motorola Signature: the feature set to match

Launch reporting describes the Signature with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, a 5,200mAh battery, 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Android Central reports three 50MP rear cameras: a main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 3x optical telephoto with OIS, and an ultrawide. It also reports that Motorola confirmed seven Android OS updates. These are launch-period reports; check Motorola’s current regional terms and specifications before relying on them. TechRadar’s launch specifications; Android Central’s Signature report.

Those features make camera flexibility and software longevity more useful comparison points than megapixels alone. A 3x optical telephoto provides a separate zoom lens; the number of megapixels by itself does not establish which phone takes better photos. Compare processing, low-light images and video using tests of the exact models you can buy.

Check whether the Signature is sold and supported where you live

January 2026 launch coverage reported launches in global markets and no US launch at that time. That is a dated report, not proof of present-day availability or absence. Which phones are similar to the HONOR 90?

The Google Pixel 7a and Samsung Galaxy A54 5G were named as HONOR 90 alternatives in review-era coverage. Both are older comparison candidates, so check current stock, condition, local prices and how much software support remains; do not assume an older recommendation still represents the best buy in 2026. Google Pixel 7a: prioritize camera and durability comparisons

In its HONOR 90 review-era comparison, Android Authority described the Pixel 7a as offering a stronger overall camera, wireless charging, an IP67 rating, a stronger processor and longer, more consistent support. The stated tradeoffs were display, charging speed and battery endurance. These are that review’s assessments, not a current comparative test; check the Pixel’s remaining support period and local availability before buying.

Samsung Galaxy A54 5G: consider the practical extras

The same comparison highlighted the Galaxy A54 5G’s IP67 rating, microSD expansion, stereo speakers and four years of Android updates as then-relevant advantages, while noting less RAM in its base configuration. Verify the precise regional version, its remaining support and whether the storage configuration meets your needs.

HONOR 90: what the alternatives are being compared with

HONOR UK publishes a regional specification page for the HONOR 90. Reviews describe a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and 200MP main camera; Android Authority also reports a 5,000mAh battery and 66W charging. Those headline specifications do not settle real-world image quality, battery life or charging performance. Regional specifications and charger-in-box details can differ, so check the listing for the exact variant. HONOR UK’s HONOR 90 specifications; Android Authority’s review.

Android Authority reviewer Rita El Khoury described the screen as “the best display I’ve seen on a mid-range phone,” adding that it could be bright in strong sun and comfortable in very dim rooms. That is a reviewer’s subjective assessment, not a lab measurement. Android Authority’s HONOR 90 review.

Compare these points before you decide

  • Price and condition: Compare the price of the exact storage and RAM variant, including whether it is new or refurbished. Historical launch prices are not a guide to today’s value.
  • Camera needs: Choose around the shots you take: dedicated optical zoom, ultrawide coverage, main-camera processing, low-light results and video matter more than a single megapixel figure.
  • Display: Compare size, resolution, refresh rate and dimming behavior. A large AMOLED panel may be attractive, but comfort and visibility vary by person and conditions.
  • Performance: Check processor performance and sustained gaming in model-specific tests rather than assuming similar launch positioning means similar results.
  • Battery and charging: Separate battery endurance from charging speed, and confirm wired or wireless charging support for the exact model.
  • Durability: Compare the stated water- and dust-resistance rating and the warranty terms; do not infer protection from price or appearance.
  • Software support: Check the manufacturer’s current update commitment and support dates for your region, not only the number of updates reported at launch.
  • Compatibility: Confirm storage, RAM, network bands, SIM/eSIM support and carrier approval for the regional SKU you intend to buy.

Software support can change the value calculation

Android Central reported in 2026 that Motorola confirmed seven Android OS updates for the Signature. Treat that as launch-period reporting and verify the current official terms for your region, including when the update period starts. Android Central’s Signature coverage.

HONOR UK lists the HONOR 90 security update period as July 2023 through June 2026. That published window has ended; the listing does not establish that the phone is currently receiving security updates under a newer commitment. Check for a newer official regional statement before buying or continuing to rely on it for sensitive use. HONOR UK’s security update information.
