Awesome Screenshot documents a Safari workflow with the command “Capture Full Page”; FullPage Screenshot is an Apple-device app listing full-page capture. Neither has been established as more reliable in a controlled comparison, so try your intended pages before relying on either for important work.
Which Safari full-page screenshot option should you choose?
- Choose Awesome Screenshot if you want a vendor-documented Safari extension workflow: start the extension in Safari and select “Capture Full Page.”
- Consider FullPage Screenshot for Safari if you want a listed option spanning Mac, iPhone, and iPad, or need its macOS image editor or PDF export.
- Test either option on a representative page if completeness matters, particularly for very long pages, dynamic content, or charts. The available reliability evidence does not establish how either performs comparatively.

Awesome Screenshot: a documented Safari extension workflow
Awesome Screenshot’s help article, dated December 24, 2025, says to initiate the extension in Safari and select “Capture Full Page.” That establishes a Safari-specific documented workflow. The help article also describes Chrome/Edge and Firefox workflows separately; those instructions should not be assumed to apply to Safari.

FullPage Screenshot for Safari: Apple-device coverage and export options
Apple’s US App Store listing identifies FullPage Screenshot for Safari as a $2.99 app by developer Alfredo Grassau. The listing says it captures full pages or the visible area in Safari and exports PNG. It lists Mac, iPhone, and iPad support, with a built-in image editor and PDF export on macOS.
| Listing detail | What it says |
|---|---|

Privacy and reliability qualifications
The App Store listing says the developer indicated that no data is collected. Apple notes that these privacy responses are not verified by Apple, so this is a developer declaration, not an independent privacy audit.

Individual reviews on the listing report incomplete captures, including one report of a capture showing only the visible area with blank graphs and another reporting that the last section of a long page was missed. These are user reports, not controlled tests or proof that such failures are typical. Try a representative page and inspect the saved result before using it for work that depends on completeness.

What about GoFullPage?
GoFullPage’s official site has surfaced claims of whole-page capture and image or PDF export, but the available information does not establish Safari compatibility. Its surfaced availability details refer to Chrome, Edge, and a Firefox release, not Safari. Do not treat it as a direct Safari alternative unless you independently verify current Safari support.
How to compare the options for your pages
- Confirm device and OS fit: check that the current extension or app listing supports your Safari setup. For FullPage Screenshot, compare the listing’s stated minimum OS versions with your device.
- Check the capture flow: Awesome Screenshot’s documented Safari command is “Capture Full Page.” Confirm the current app’s flow in its listing or interface.
- Match the export to the job: PNG is listed for FullPage Screenshot; PDF export is specifically listed for its macOS version.
- Decide whether editing matters: FullPage Screenshot’s listing describes a built-in editor; the reviewed Awesome Screenshot help page does not establish an equivalent capability.
- Trial the hardest page: use the sort of long, dynamic, or graph-heavy page you need to capture and inspect the entire output. Available user reports are warnings to validate, not a basis for a reliability score.

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for parameters and setup. Before capture, it can accept cookie or consent banners and remove more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets; each of those steps can be turned off. Bot checks or CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits are not billed, and responses identify the page verdict and billing status in headers. An MCP server offers take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf tools for AI agents and MCP clients. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots per month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000.
