Choose by the kind of match you want: Critical Ops is the closest documented bomb-defusal alternative in this group; Call of Duty: Mobile is the broadest all-purpose option; Arena Breakout is built around looting and extraction; and Delta Force combines extraction with very large team battles.
The premise needs one update. Ubisoft announced that Rainbow Six Mobile became available worldwide for free on iOS and Android on 23 February 2026. Its launch package includes attacker-versus-defender rounds, Bomb, Bomb Rush and Team Deathmatch, plus Quick Play, Ranked and Private matches, Siege-inspired maps and more than 20 Operators. The games below are therefore alternatives for a particular preference—not unreleased substitutes, and not identical copies of Siege’s destructible maps, gadgets or operator roster.

What “instead of Rainbow Six Mobile” should mean now
Rainbow Six Mobile’s defining loop is a compact 5v5 tactical contest: one side attacks an objective and the other defends it with gadgets, breaching tools, traps and cameras. An alternative can match one part of that formula while changing another. Bomb-defusal games preserve the plant-or-stop decision; broad shooters offer more modes but dilute the attack-and-defense focus; extraction games replace a fixed bomb site with a high-risk trip to collect equipment and escape.
Recommended Free Tools
That distinction matters when choosing. A player who wants short rounds and a clear objective should start with Critical Ops. Someone who wants a single installation with traditional multiplayer, ranked play, battle royale and an extraction mode may prefer Call of Duty: Mobile. Players who enjoy planning an entry, taking loot and deciding when to leave should look at Arena Breakout. Delta Force is the better direction for anyone who wants extraction plus battlefield-scale matches rather than small-team site control.

Treat those as personal questions and check current player feedback for your device and region.
Quick recommendations by play style
| What you want | Start with | Documented reason | What it does not promise |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bomb plant and defuse rounds | Critical Ops | Its Defuse mode has opposing Breach and Coalition teams; Breach plants and protects the bomb while Coalition tries to stop them. | It is not documented as having Siege’s destructible environments, operator abilities, cameras or attacker/defender roster. |
| Several shooter formats in one game | Call of Duty: Mobile | Its official materials list 5v5 multiplayer including Search & Destroy, ranked play, customizable controls, battle royale and the separate DMZ: Recon PvPvE extraction mode. | Only Search & Destroy follows a bomb-style objective; its other modes use different rules and pacing. |
| Loot, survival and extraction | Arena Breakout | The central task is to find guns, attachments and supplies, choose stealth or direct combat, then escape the combat area alive. | It is not a bomb-site attacker-versus-defender game. |
| Extraction plus huge team battles | Delta Force | Operations is an extraction mode, while Mobile Warfare is advertised as 24-versus-24 combat. | Its official descriptions do not present either mode as a close replacement for small-team Siege rounds. |
Critical Ops: the clearest bomb-defusal alternative
How the Defuse mode works
Critical Ops is a mobile-built multiplayer first-person shooter with Deathmatch, Defuse and Gun Game. In the official Defuse description, The Breach attempts to plant and defend the bomb, while Coalition tries to prevent the plant or defuse it. A round can also end when one team eliminates the other. That gives you the most direct, documented match structure here for a player who wants a device, a site and a decisive round objective.
The elimination condition is important. Defuse is not only a race to interact with the bomb: wiping out the opposing team can also settle the round. You therefore get the familiar tension between committing to the objective and preserving enough players to contest it, without assuming that every round will end with a completed plant or defuse.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesWhere it matches the desired loop
- Two named opposing teams create an explicit attacker-versus-defender relationship.
- The bomb gives each round a concrete reason to rotate, hold an area or force a retake.
- Deathmatch and Gun Game provide alternatives when you want shooting practice or a less objective-focused session.
Where the comparison stops
The available official description does not establish destructible walls, operator-specific gadgets, surveillance cameras or a roster equivalent to Rainbow Six Mobile’s Operators. Do not select Critical Ops expecting a one-for-one transfer of Siege systems. Select it because its documented Defuse mode preserves the plant-and-stop decision in a compact format.

Platform requirements
Critical Ops lists iOS 15.0 or later and Android 7.0 or later on its site. Those are the stated operating-system requirements, not a guarantee of identical frame rates or graphics settings on every compatible phone. Check the current App Store or Google Play listing in your country before installing, because storefront eligibility and app requirements can change.
Call of Duty: Mobile: the widest menu of shooter modes
Search & Destroy for an objective round
Call of Duty: Mobile’s official materials list 5v5 multiplayer formats, including Search & Destroy. That is the mode to examine if your priority is a round-based objective rather than its other offerings. The game also provides ranked play, social features and customizable controls, but those features do not make every mode tactically identical to Rainbow Six Mobile.
Search & Destroy should be treated as one mode inside a much larger package. The same installation also includes other multiplayer formats and battle royale. Moving between them changes team structure, map scale, respawning and the importance of a single life. Calling the whole game a Siege substitute would therefore overstate the evidence; calling it a flexible mobile FPS is accurate.

DMZ: Recon is a separate extraction proposition
The current official site describes DMZ: Recon as PvPvE looting, survival and extraction. That means the objective is not the same as planting or defusing a bomb: you collect resources, deal with both player and environmental threats, and try to leave successfully. It belongs in the recommendation because it lets one game cover two very different tactical appetites—5v5 objective matches and extraction—rather than because its complete experience mirrors Siege.

- Cushioned and Durable Membrane: The X5 Lite is equipped with cushioned and durable membrane triggers and buttons. The cushioned feedback provides a comfortable experience while ensuring quieter operation
Who should choose it
- Choose it when you want to alternate between traditional multiplayer, a Search & Destroy objective, battle royale and extraction.
- Choose it when ranked progression, social features and control customization matter alongside the shooting itself.
- Do not choose it solely for a Siege-like identity; its breadth is the point, and that breadth necessarily changes the feel from mode to mode.
Supported devices and network requirement
Activision lists Android, iPhone and iPad support and describes the game as free to play. Its official page also states that an internet connection is required. “Android,” “iPhone” and “iPad” describe platform families, not a promise that every older model will run every update well. Confirm the live store listing, free storage, operating-system version and regional availability for your device before downloading.
Arena Breakout: choose the extraction decision instead of a bomb site
The core loop
Arena Breakout’s official site emphasizes finding guns, attachments and supplies, choosing between stealth and direct combat, and escaping the combat area alive. The defining decision is therefore when to leave. Entering with a plan, taking useful equipment, judging threats and reaching an extraction point matter more than capturing a fixed attacker-versus-defender objective.
This structure creates a different kind of tension from Siege. A successful firefight is not enough if you lose the loot before extraction. Conversely, avoiding a fight can be the correct decision when survival and a safe exit matter more than eliminating every opponent. That risk calculation is the reason to choose Arena Breakout, not a claim that it reproduces bomb rounds.

The current site features Season 13 and a cooperative PvE extraction mode in Misty Valley. These details show that the game offers more than one way to approach extraction, but seasonal content and mode availability can change. Check the in-game event and mode screens after installation rather than assuming every advertised activity remains permanently available.

Best fit and poor fit
- Good fit: you enjoy gathering equipment, weighing stealth against direct combat and treating a successful escape as the real win.
- Poor fit: you want every round to have a clearly marked bomb site, fixed attacker and defender roles, and a short retake sequence.
Delta Force: extraction or 24-versus-24 warfare
Operations extraction
The official Delta Force site describes Operations as an extraction mode in which a squad reaches an extraction point and secures supplies. Like Arena Breakout, this replaces a bomb-site contest with a mission whose success depends on surviving long enough to leave with what you found. The squad structure makes coordination important, but the available description does not establish Siege-style operators, breaching systems or small-map site attacks.
Mobile Warfare at a much larger scale
Delta Force separately advertises Mobile Warfare as all-out 24-versus-24 combat. That team size is a fundamental change from the small-team structure associated with Rainbow Six Mobile. The mode is relevant if you want a broad battlefield and many-player engagements, not if your main requirement is a five-player attack-and-defense round.
When Delta Force is the right alternative
- Pick Operations when extraction, squad movement and securing supplies are the attraction.
- Pick Mobile Warfare when the appeal is a 24v24 battle rather than a tightly contained site hold.
- Do not infer that Operations and Mobile Warfare share the same objectives simply because they are in one game; the official descriptions distinguish them.
Objective, team scale and mode comparison
| Game and mode | Primary objective described by the official source | Team scale or structure stated | How far it departs from Siege-style rounds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Critical Ops — Defuse | The Breach plants and defends; Coalition tries to stop or defuse. Elimination can also end a round. | Opposing Defuse teams; a specific player count is not stated in the cited description. | Closest documented bomb loop here, but no established equivalence for destructibility, gadgets or Operators. |
| Call of Duty: Mobile — Search & Destroy | A 5v5 multiplayer objective mode listed by Activision. | 5v5 for the listed multiplayer format. | Comparable at the objective level only; the broader game includes unrelated multiplayer, battle royale and extraction modes. |
| Call of Duty: Mobile — DMZ: Recon | PvPvE looting, survival and extraction. | Not stated in the cited description. | Replaces fixed bomb-site control with a survival-and-escape loop. |
| Arena Breakout | Find equipment, choose an approach and escape alive. | Not stated in the cited description. | Extraction risk replaces attacker/defender bomb play. |
| Delta Force — Operations | Reach extraction and secure supplies. | Squad-based; an exact player count is not stated in the cited description. | Extraction-focused rather than site-focused. |
| Delta Force — Mobile Warfare | All-out large-team combat. | 24v24. | Much larger battlefield structure than small-team tactical rounds. |
How to choose without relying on unsupported rankings
Step 1: Identify the decision that makes a match exciting
- “Do we plant, stop the plant or retake?” Start with Critical Ops, then consider Call of Duty: Mobile’s Search & Destroy.
- “Which mode should I play tonight?” Choose Call of Duty: Mobile for its combination of multiplayer, battle royale and DMZ: Recon.
- “Do we have enough loot, and can we get out?” Choose Arena Breakout or Delta Force Operations.
- “Do I want a large battlefield and many teammates?” Look at Delta Force Mobile Warfare’s stated 24v24 format.
Step 2: Check whether the scale suits you
Do not assume that a game advertised as tactical always uses the same team size. Call of Duty: Mobile explicitly lists 5v5 for its multiplayer formats, while Delta Force explicitly lists 24v24 for Mobile Warfare. Critical Ops identifies opposing Defuse teams without stating a player count in the cited description. Extraction descriptions for Arena Breakout, DMZ: Recon and Delta Force Operations do not establish a universal team size. Use the in-game mode information rather than transferring numbers from one mode to another.
Step 3: Verify your device and region
- Open the current App Store or Google Play listing from your region.
- Confirm the supported operating-system version and whether your phone or tablet is listed as compatible.
- Check the download size and free storage shown by the storefront or installer.
- Read the latest update notes for required OS changes, mode removals or regional restrictions.
- If you use a controller or other input accessory, verify support for that specific title and device; the available information does not establish common controller compatibility across all four games.
Step 4: Set expectations about performance and matchmaking
No shared, independently measured evidence establishes player populations, matchmaking health, comparative skill depth or device performance for these recommendations. A game can be a logical fit by objective and still feel different on your phone, network or regional server pool. Treat those factors as checks you must make for yourself, not as settled rankings.

Important differences from Rainbow Six Mobile
Bomb play is not the same as Siege’s full system
Critical Ops and Call of Duty: Mobile’s Search & Destroy can address the desire for a planted device and a defensive response. That does not establish the surrounding Siege systems: operator abilities, cameras, breaching devices, traps, destructible environments, named maps or the specific 5v5 structure announced for Rainbow Six Mobile. The objective is comparable; the total ruleset is not.
Extraction changes the meaning of success
In Arena Breakout, DMZ: Recon and Delta Force Operations, survival and a successful exit are central. You may gain more by avoiding a bad fight than by forcing an engagement. The match is organized around entering, gathering, managing risk and leaving, rather than repeatedly contesting one bomb location. Players seeking Siege’s predictable site geometry should understand that this is a genre change, not a minor variation.
Large-team combat changes communication
Delta Force’s advertised 24v24 Mobile Warfare mode has a different coordination problem from a small squad defending a site. Individual positioning, lane control and broad battlefield awareness matter in ways that are not represented by a five-player round. It can satisfy a desire for tactical teamwork while failing the more specific desire for intimate, information-heavy site play.
Availability and currency checks before installing
Mode names, seasons, operating-system requirements and regional storefront listings can change after an official page is published. The descriptions used here were current as accessed on 13 October 2026, while Ubisoft’s worldwide Rainbow Six Mobile launch announcement was dated 23 February 2026. Before you commit storage or data, verify:
- that the game is downloadable in your country;
- the current minimum iOS or Android version;
- whether the mode you want is currently live rather than seasonal, limited-time or unavailable in your region;
- the latest update’s storage and network requirements; and
- any age, account or connection requirement shown by the storefront.
These checks are especially important for Call of Duty: Mobile’s changing mode lineup, Arena Breakout’s seasonal content and any advertised Delta Force operation or warfare playlist.
Final selection guide
| Your priority | Most defensible starting point | Reason to choose it |
|---|---|---|
| Round-based bomb objective | Critical Ops | Its official Defuse description directly documents planting, defending and stopping a bomb. |
| Objective rounds plus many other formats | Call of Duty: Mobile | Search & Destroy sits alongside other 5v5 modes, battle royale and DMZ: Recon extraction. |
| Stealth, loot and a tense exit | Arena Breakout | Its stated loop centers on equipment, approach choice and escaping alive. |
| Extraction with a squad or 24v24 warfare | Delta Force | Operations covers extraction, while Mobile Warfare supplies the explicitly stated large-team option. |
Start with the row that describes the decision you want to make during a match. That method is more reliable than calling any one title the universal “best” replacement: the documented games solve different problems, and none is established by the available evidence as a complete copy of Rainbow Six Mobile.
