Monster Hunter Now is the closest verified mobile match if you want to hunt large monsters with other players and turn gathered materials into better equipment. For conventional real-time co-op dungeons and boss fights, Eternal Hero: MMO Action RPG is a looser alternative. Monster Hunter Outlanders is the most direct announced option, but Capcom had scheduled it for October 29, 2026; confirm that it has launched and is available in your region before downloading.
Which mobile game is closest to Monster Hunter?
Monster Hunter Now is the closest fit among the games with verified details here. Scopely describes a loop of exploring the real world, hunting monsters, collecting materials, and forging or upgrading weapons and armor. It also supports group hunts. The important difference is the setting: this is a location-based adaptation built around going out into the real world, not a mobile port of a mainline Monster Hunter game. Scopely describes hunts as lasting up to 75 seconds; that is a publisher description, not an independent performance measurement.

Scopely’s official game page puts the co-op appeal plainly: “Some monsters are too strong to face alone. Team up with other nearby hunters and hunt together to take down even tougher foes!”

Other mobile options for co-op action and bosses
Eternal Hero: MMO Action RPG
If you care more about real-time action with friends than Monster Hunter’s specific hunt-and-craft progression, Eternal Hero: MMO Action RPG is a qualified alternative. The listing is for iPhone and iPad and labels the game free with in-app purchases.
The listing does not establish a Monster Hunter-style loop of hunting creatures for parts and using them to forge gear. Availability and listed features may vary outside the US App Store and can change.
