What “Duo” can mean for a MagSafe power bank
“Duo” might mean two magnetic charging surfaces, charging an iPhone and another kind of device, or charging one phone wirelessly while a second device uses USB-C. Those are different setups. The product evidence covered here supports the last arrangement, not a dual-surface bank for charging two iPhones magnetically at the same time.

There is a simultaneous-use limit: Anker’s UK information says wireless output falls to 5W when the USB-C port is also charging another device. Anker A1654 FAQ. Do not assume the wireless connection continues at 15W while USB-C is in use.
The cited pages establish a USB-C output, but do not confirm that a second iPhone will charge successfully in every configuration. Check the second phone’s charging requirements and use a suitable cable before relying on that setup.

How to choose for two-phone charging
Before buying a product described as “Duo,” check its exact model listing and confirm how many devices it can charge at the same time—and by which method.
- Two magnetic charging surfaces: Look for explicit product documentation that says two phones can charge wirelessly at once. The sources cited here do not establish such a portable product.
- One magnetic surface plus USB-C: Confirm that simultaneous output is supported and check the wireless wattage during that use. For the documented A1654 example, Anker states that wireless output drops to 5W when USB-C is charging another device.
- Capacity and portability: Compare stated battery capacity, size, and weight for the exact model. The cited A1654 specification states 10,000mAh; the sources cited here do not provide comparable size or weight figures.
- Compatibility: Verify the phone model and case requirements on the current product page. Do not infer compatibility or charging speed from the words “MagSafe,” “magnetic,” or “Qi2” alone.
- Use location: Decide whether you need a battery for travel or a charging setup for a desk. A magnetic battery bank and a multi-device charger are different product types; the Apple MagSafe Duo, for example, is described for an iPhone and Apple Watch, not as a power bank.
Does a dual iPhone MagSafe power bank exist?
The sources cited here do not establish a portable power bank that magnetically charges two iPhones at once. That is an evidence limit, not proof that no such product exists.
