There is no well-supported, current hero ranking for Lucky Defense Heroes by Inspus, so naming a “best” hero or a guaranteed free-to-play investment order would be guesswork. The official listings do explain how summoning, deployment, upgrades, selling or trading, and wave abilities work. Use those systems—and the game’s damage totals where available—to judge the heroes in your own run rather than borrowing a tier list for a different game.

What the official information can—and cannot—tell you

Google Play’s listing for Lucky Defense Heroes describes an idle auto-hunting defense game by Inspus Inc. Players earn SP by defeating monsters, spend it to summon heroes, deploy and upgrade them, and can sell or trade heroes. At certain waves, the game offers a choice among three abilities. The listing also describes monthly seasons, ranking rewards, and a season pass.

These mechanics do not establish which hero is strongest, which one a beginner should prioritize, or what a free-to-play player should upgrade first. The official Apple App Store listing likewise describes the game and its monetization, but supplies no hero ranking or F2P investment order. Neither listing gives summon odds or a recommended reroll strategy.

How to assess heroes as a beginner or F2P player

Use your own run data instead of a borrowed tier list

Google Play’s update notes dated October 28, 2025, say the game added damage figures that account for remaining enemy HP, along with damage totals by class and by hero. If those figures are present in your current version, they can help you see how your deployed heroes contributed in that run. They are measurements of your own match, not proof of a universal ranking across modes, waves, or accounts. Check the live in-game patch notes because a store listing’s dated update does not confirm the current build in October 2026.

Compare heroes in context

When reviewing your results, compare heroes under similar conditions: the same mode and a similar wave, with attention to the heroes’ upgrade levels and the abilities selected. Consider damage alongside utility, the SP and upgrade investment involved, and whether the result depends on a particular roster or progression level. These are useful questions for a fair comparison, not published findings about any specific hero.

Account for randomness and resource choices

Summoning is described as luck-based, and the game also lets players sell or trade heroes. That means a recommendation that assumes every player can acquire and upgrade the same roster may not apply to your account. The official listings do not establish a best reroll method or a low-spend route; avoid treating an unverified roster recipe as guaranteed advice.

Treat wave abilities as part of the decision

The official description says players choose among three abilities at certain waves. Because those choices are part of the play loop, judge a hero in the context of the ability choices and wave where you used it—not only by a single damage total.

Do not confuse this game with Lucky Defense: OMFG

Some search results use the similar name Lucky Defense: OMFG. Pocket Gamer’s tier list dated September 17, 2026, is for that separate title, not Lucky Defense Heroes by Inspus. Its character rankings—including references to Lancelot and Kitty Mage—cannot substantiate recommendations for the Inspus game. Check the app’s full title and developer before applying any guide.

What free-to-play players should know about monetization

The Apple listing identifies the game as free to download with in-app purchases and loot boxes; Google Play indicates ads and in-app purchases. These listings confirm monetization exists, but do not show that purchases are necessary to progress or establish that any purchase is worthwhile. They also do not provide a supported basis for recommending a paid route over earning SP through play.
