Feature-length picks
The Day the Earth Blew Up for all-animated science fiction
This is the clearest choice if you want another complete story with no live-action co-stars. Daffy Duck and Porky Pig try to save their town from body-snatching alien gum, giving the film a science-fiction premise while keeping the Looney Tunes characters at its center. ComingSoon describes it as an animated spin-off from the original cartoon series (TheWrap; ComingSoon).
Looney Tunes: Back in Action for a cartoon-and-human adventure
If the mix of animation and live action in Coyote vs. Acme is what you want more of, try this action-comedy and spy-adventure parody. Directed by Joe Dante, it sends Bugs and Daffy on a globe-trotting quest with human characters, including Brendan Fraser as a stuntman and a Warner Bros. executive. Its plot and comic approach are different, but it is the most direct format match on this list (TheWrap).
#1 Best Overall
Space Jam for a sports crossover
Pick Space Jam for basketball, Michael Jordan, and a distinctly 1990s nostalgia trip. The Tunes need Jordan’s help to face the Monstars, making this a sports story rather than another take on Coyote’s courtroom fight. Its appeal is the crossover and its era, not a continuation of Coyote vs. Acme (TheWrap; ComingSoon).
Daffy Duck’s Quackbusters for Halloween-season viewing
Released in 1988, Daffy Duck’s Quackbusters is a movie-length package film, not one uninterrupted, newly animated feature. Its framing story gives Daffy a paranormal-detective agency, with spooky shorts including “Hyde and Go Tweet,” “The Night of the Living Duck,” and “The Abominable Snow Rabbit.” TheWrap calls it a Halloween-time favorite and reports a Warner Archive Collection Blu-ray release; check current retailer listings for availability (TheWrap).

Want the classic short-cartoon experience?
Shorts are not feature films, but they offer the compact comic form behind the franchise. These selections give you distinct flavors of Looney Tunes without requiring a full-length watch.
- Duck Amuck: Daffy argues with an unseen animator who keeps changing the world around him. Choose it for meta-comedy and cartoon logic.
- Duck Dodgers in the 24½th Century: Daffy plays a space hero, Porky is his cadet, and Marvin the Martian appears as himself. Choose it for science-fiction parody.
- The Hunting Trilogy: Rabbit Fire, Rabbit Seasoning, and Duck! Rabbit, Duck! pit Bugs and Daffy against one another as they redirect Elmer Fudd. Choose them for verbal sparring and escalating reversals.
- One Froggy Evening: A man discovers a frog that performs ragtime only when nobody else is around. Its self-contained comic setup makes it a particularly tidy short story.
- What’s Opera, Doc?: Bugs and Elmer’s chase becomes an operatic parody built around Wagner references. Choose it for stylized visuals and musical comedy.
- Baseball Bugs: Bugs takes on a baseball team after boasting he can win by himself. Choose it for a focused Bugs showcase.
TheWrap recommends these shorts as part of its post-film guide; ComingSoon also includes What’s Opera, Doc? (TheWrap; ComingSoon).

What to know about Coyote vs. Acme
Coyote vs. Acme is a live-action and animation blend about Wile E. Coyote’s legal fight with ACME. The AP reported that Warner Bros. shelved the completed film before Ketchup Entertainment acquired it for release, and that it reached U.S. theaters on August 28, 2026 (Associated Press). That context explains the renewed interest in what to watch next, but the recommendations above are separate stories, not sequels.
Where to stream any of these films depends on region and date, so check the services available in your country rather than assuming a particular subscription includes them.
