What the channel numbers and included speakers tell you
The first number in a layout such as 5.1.3 or 9.1.5 represents the main speaker channels, the second indicates the subwoofer channel, and the final number refers to height channels. For these four models, the practical comparison is not just the total: the S95TR, S90TR, and S80TR explicitly include rear speakers and a subwoofer, while the S70TR’s package contents should be confirmed against the exact model listing before purchase.

LG’s category page says, “WOW Orchestra enhances the soundstage when used with an LG TV.” That statement is a manufacturer claim, and the feature is model-dependent: confirm that both your precise TV and soundbar support it in LG’s compatibility information. It is not the same thing as a wireless connection.

WOW Interface and WOWCAST
WOW Interface allows soundbar control through the TV and its remote. WOWCAST is LG’s wireless TV-to-soundbar connection for compatible equipment. LG lists HDMI connectivity and Dolby Atmos and DTS-related format support across relevant product information. The format that reaches the soundbar depends on the source content and the whole connection path, including the TV, source device, and settings. If you plan to connect through HDMI eARC or ARC, verify that the ports and capabilities on your particular TV and source support the arrangement you intend to use. Wireless TV-to-soundbar connection is an option only when the exact equipment supports it; it is not interchangeable with HDMI eARC/ARC.

Measure the room and furniture before ordering
A screen-size match does not tell you whether a soundbar fits beneath your TV or whether the complete system works in your room. Before buying, check:
- The soundbar’s width, height, and depth against your TV stand, cabinet, or wall-mount arrangement.
- Clearance below the TV, including any stand feet or overhang that may obstruct placement.
