The best currently released official LEGO choice for KPop Demon Hunters fans is LEGO KPop Demon Hunters Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird (set 72537). It is an 825-piece character model for ages 9 and up, listed at $69.99 on LEGO’s US theme page when checked on October 13, 2026. Netflix says it reached shelves on August 1, 2026. The model is aimed at fans who want a substantial Derpy-and-Sussie display with movable parts, rather than a small souvenir or a collection of several characters.
Only one released official LEGO set is verified at this point, so this is a current best pick—not a ranking of multiple KPop Demon Hunters LEGO sets. LEGO has announced additional sets for 2027, but their names, characters, piece counts, prices and launch dates have not been specified.

What the current LEGO selection actually includes
As of October 13, 2026, the official catalog and Netflix’s product announcement establish one released KPop Demon Hunters LEGO product: LEGO KPop Demon Hunters Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird, set 72537. That matters because many “best sets” lists imply a broad range of available builds. There is no evidence-based way to rank several official sets yet.

The LEGO Group and Netflix announced their collaboration on February 4, 2026. LEGO said the first set would arrive in summer 2026 and that more sets were planned for 2027. The later products were not identified in the announcement, so a buyer should not assume that a particular idol, villain, vehicle or playset is already available.

What you build and how it moves
The set centers on a large, recognizable Derpy Tiger build with Sussie Bird as a companion. Netflix describes it as a model that can be assembled and posed, giving it more interaction than a fixed ornament.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Derpy Tiger articulation
- Derpy’s head can move.
- His legs can be repositioned.
- His paws move for different poses.
Those points allow a builder to change Derpy’s stance and expression after construction. They also make it possible to create a display pose that is different from the instructions’ default arrangement.
Sussie Bird articulation
- Sussie’s neck rotates.
- Its feet can be posed.
- Its beak can be posed.
Sussie can perch on Derpy, producing a combined display taller than 8.5 inches. The separate bird articulation also lets a fan display the companion independently or create a more animated scene.
Accessories and hidden storage
Two love notes and a flowerpot add small story elements to the character display. A compartment inside Derpy’s head stores accessories, which gives the model a practical place for the loose items when they are not being used. Keep those pieces in the compartment or a labeled container if the model will be moved often.

Why this is the best current pick for fans
Set 72537 scores well on the selection criteria that can be verified now: character relevance, build size, poseability, accessory content and display presence.

Fans receive Derpy and Sussie together, so the set communicates a specific relationship and scene from the property. That makes it a stronger gift for someone who names these characters as favorites than a generic branded item would be.
825 pieces creates a substantial project
An 825-piece count is large enough to provide a multi-session building activity for many families while remaining a single, coherent model. It is not a small impulse-size build. The piece count also means the completed model needs a stable surface and a plan for storing the instruction booklet and spare elements.
It works as both a play model and a display model
Movable joints support posing, while the 8.5-inch-plus height gives the finished build visual presence on a shelf or desk. A buyer who wants a model that can be handled occasionally and then returned to display will get more flexibility than from a completely static decoration.
It has a clear age entry point
LEGO lists the set for ages 9 and up. That guidance helps a gift-giver distinguish it from preschool construction toys or advanced collector models. A younger child may still enjoy it with adult help, but the official recommendation is 9+.
Who should buy it
- Derpy or Sussie fans: The character pairing is the set’s defining reason to choose it.
- Builders who enjoy medium-to-large projects: 825 pieces offer more construction time than a tiny character pack.
- Fans with display space: The model stands over 8.5 inches tall when Sussie is perched on Derpy.
- Families seeking a shared activity: The 9+ guidance provides a reasonable starting point for supervised building.
- Collectors who want the first official release: Set 72537 is the released product currently verified from the official sources.
Who may want to wait or choose something else
- Fans whose favorite character is not Derpy or Sussie: No other official LEGO character set has been identified as released in the available announcements.
- People without a display surface: A model over 8.5 inches high can be awkward on a crowded desk or narrow shelf.
- Children below the listed age: The 9+ guidance should be treated as the baseline; younger builders may need substantial help and close supervision.
- Buyers seeking a complete character collection: Additional LEGO sets were announced for 2027, but their lineups and specifications remain unannounced.
- Gift shoppers on a strict local-price ceiling: The $69.99 figure applies to the US LEGO page checked October 13, 2026, not every country or retailer.
Planning the build and the finished display
Choose a stable building area
Because the model has a large body and movable limbs, build it on a flat surface where pieces can be sorted and the partly completed figure will not be knocked over. A tray or shallow box can help keep the two love notes, flowerpot and other small elements together during a multi-session build.

Reserve the display footprint first
Measure the intended shelf or desk before opening the box. The stated height is more than 8.5 inches with Sussie on Derpy; allow additional clearance above the model so the bird can be removed without hitting the shelf above. Leave enough depth for the tiger’s paws and any pose that extends forward.
Decide whether the model is for play or display
For display, use a balanced pose and keep the loose accessories in Derpy’s head compartment when they are not part of the scene. For play, reposition the head, legs, paws, neck, feet and beak gently rather than forcing a joint beyond its intended range. If the set will be carried between rooms, move the model with both hands under the main body and check the bird’s connection afterward.
Age guidance and supervision
LEGO’s official guidance is 9+. That label reflects the expected building complexity and the presence of small pieces. It is not a statement that every nine-year-old will complete the build independently, nor does it prohibit an adult from building alongside a younger fan.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFor a younger child, an adult can sort pieces, read the instructions aloud and handle any difficult connection while the child completes simpler steps. Keep unbuilt and detached elements away from children who may put small parts in their mouths. Once assembled, inspect the model after play for loose pieces, especially around the movable paws, feet and beak.
Price, value and regional availability
LEGO’s US theme page listed set 72537 at $69.99 when it was checked on October 13, 2026. This is a listed US price at that point in time, not a guaranteed sale price. Retailers may discount it, charge more, add tax or show different stock status. Other countries can have different prices and release timing.
The 825-piece count helps communicate the scale of the purchase, but pieces-per-dollar cannot determine build quality, character appeal or how much the recipient will enjoy the finished model. The movable features, two-character presentation, hidden storage and display height are more useful value indicators for this particular gift.

Before placing an order
- Confirm that the listing is for set 72537 and names Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird.
- Check the seller’s country, currency, taxes and delivery estimate.
- Verify that the current price and stock are still shown; the October 13, 2026 US figure may have changed.
- Check the recipient’s age and whether an 8.5-inch-plus display will fit at home.
- Review the return policy in case the recipient already owns the set or a box arrives damaged.
How it compares when there is only one released set
A conventional ranking would be misleading because no second released official LEGO KPop Demon Hunters set has been established. Use the following decision framework instead.
| Decision question | What set 72537 offers | What remains unknown |
|---|---|---|
| Favorite characters | Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird | Future sets’ character lineups |
| Build scale | 825 pieces | Piece counts for 2027 releases |
| Age fit | LEGO guidance of 9+ | Age guidance for future products |
| Interaction | Movable Derpy head, legs and paws; rotating Sussie neck; poseable feet and beak | Features on unannounced sets |
| Display | Over 8.5 inches tall with Sussie perched | Dimensions of future sets |
| Accessories | Two love notes and a flowerpot; head compartment for storage | Accessories for future sets |
| Availability | Released August 1, 2026, according to Netflix | Names and launch dates of 2027 products |
If the recipient likes Derpy and Sussie, wants a hands-on build now and has room to display it, set 72537 is the straightforward choice. If the recipient is waiting for another character, waiting for the 2027 announcements is the only evidence-based way to make that comparison.
Other KPop Demon Hunters gifts when LEGO is not the right format
Netflix’s official merchandise guide lists several licensed alternatives. These are different gift categories, not additional LEGO recommendations, and availability can vary by country and date.
Games and tabletop gifts
The guide lists a KPop Demon Hunters Monopoly Deal card game and a board game. A card game generally needs less storage and setup space than an 825-piece model, while a board game may suit a household that prefers group play. Confirm the exact edition, language and local stock before buying.
Dolls, collectibles and plush
The listed merchandise includes character dolls and collectibles, Furby Furblets and Squishmallows plush. These options may be better for a fan who wants a ready-to-display or huggable item rather than a construction project. Product sizes, character choices and launch timing differ by vendor.

Creative kits, costumes and apparel
The guide also mentions a Woobles crochet kit, costumes and apparel. A crochet kit is another hands-on activity but requires different skills from brick building. Clothing and costumes require accurate sizing and may be less suitable when the recipient’s size or preferred character is uncertain.

Books, music and light sticks
Books, soundtrack formats and light sticks are listed as additional licensed categories. Check whether a soundtrack is a physical format or a digital offering, whether a light stick is intended for a particular event, and whether a book is already released in the buyer’s region.
The screen comic boxed set: a book alternative to consider
Netflix’s June 2026 merchandise guide describes The Official Screen Comic Boxed Set from Penguin Random House as containing more than 700 pages. The guide said it was available for preorder to ship November 3, 2026.
That ship date is still in the future relative to October 16, 2026. Treat the item as a preorder unless a current retailer listing confirms that it has shipped. Check the publisher or seller for the final release status, regional edition, price and stock before presenting it as an immediately available gift.

What the 2027 announcement means for buyers
LEGO has said additional KPop Demon Hunters sets are coming in 2027. No official source cited here supplies their names, characters, piece counts, prices or exact launch dates. Do not reserve shelf space for a rumored model or delay a gift based on an assumed lineup.
If the recipient specifically wants another character, set a reminder to check the official LEGO catalog and Netflix announcements when those details are published. Until then, set 72537 is the only released official LEGO choice that can be identified with verified specifications.
Final buying decision
Buy LEGO KPop Demon Hunters Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird (72537) when the recipient likes the Derpy-and-Sussie pairing, is at least within LEGO’s 9+ guidance, enjoys a substantial 825-piece build and has room for a model taller than 8.5 inches. The movable head, legs, paws, neck, feet and beak give it ongoing posing value, while the love notes, flowerpot and hidden head compartment add small display and play details.
Check the live US or regional listing before paying: the $69.99 price was the figure shown on LEGO’s US page on October 13, 2026, and both price and stock can change. For fans waiting on a different character, the responsible answer is to wait for details of the announced 2027 sets rather than treating unannounced products as current alternatives.
