Anker lists it as compatible with iPhone 12 through iPhone 18 series models and rates it at Qi2 25W. Those are manufacturer claims. We have not seen an independent test of any power bank charging an iPhone 18 Pro Max, so no bank can be crowned fastest on measured results. What follows separates the verified phone specifications from the vendor claims, and shows how to check any magnetic battery pack before you buy it.
What the iPhone 18 Pro Max supports
Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max technical specifications (2026) list MagSafe wireless charging up to 25W and Qi2 wireless charging up to 25W. The same specification page describes a magnet array and an alignment magnet, which is what holds a magnetic battery pack in place on the back of the phone.

Treat 25W as the ceiling the phone can accept, not a rate every accessory will deliver. A power bank has to supply that output through its own battery, circuitry and cooling, and the phone only reaches the top rate when the bank and the phone both negotiate it.

Where the 25W figure comes from, and where it does not apply
Apple Support’s article on the MagSafe Charger says the charger can deliver up to 25W peak to iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max when paired with a higher-wattage adapter rated at 15V/2.0A or above. That condition describes Apple’s own charger and its wall adapter. It does not carry over to third-party battery packs, which bring their own power source and wattage rating. Judge a battery pack by its own stated wireless output, not by the charger condition.

The strongest named candidate: Anker MagGo 2 Pro (10K)
Anker’s product article for the MagGo 2 Pro Magnetic Power Bank describes a 10K battery with Qi2 25W wireless output, an active cooling feature and support for iPhone 12 through iPhone 18 series. It is the only named power bank in our sources that is explicitly tied to the iPhone 18 generation.
What this does and does not tell you:
- Supported: the product is marketed for iPhone 18 series compatibility and rated for Qi2 25W output.
- Not established: measured charging speed, temperature under load, or how fast it refills an iPhone 18 Pro Max compared with other banks.
- Not established: any number of full phone recharges. A “10K” label is a nominal capacity category. Conversion losses between the battery and the phone, and the conditions you charge under, reduce how much of that capacity reaches the phone.
Other magnetic battery packs in Apple’s accessory catalogue
Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro Max accessory catalogue lists battery options from Belkin, Nimble, Twelve South and mophie. These are shopping leads, not ranked picks. The listing does not confirm that every model is magnetic, that it supports Qi2, or that it reaches the phone’s 25W maximum. Before you consider one of these, check the specific model’s own product page for its wireless standard, maximum wireless output, capacity, dimensions and weight.

Checklist before you buy
- Confirm the exact model name and the iPhone 18 Pro Max in its compatibility list on the maker’s own page.
- Confirm the wireless standard is Qi2 or MagSafe and that the maximum output is stated as 25W.
- Check the capacity and the physical size and weight against how you carry the phone.
- Check whether a case you use is thin enough for the magnets to couple.
- Check the USB-C ports you need for wired charging of the bank and the phone.
- Check the warranty length on the maker’s page before purchase.
What to expect from your own testing
If you buy one, a simple check will tell you more than any label. Charge the phone from a known level with the bank, note the time and the phone’s temperature after 15 minutes, and repeat with a second bank under the same room conditions and the same case. Results will vary with ambient temperature, the phone’s own battery state, and whether the phone is in use while charging.

What the evidence does not settle
There is no independent head-to-head test with an iPhone 18 Pro Max that ranks power banks by charging speed, heat or real-world capacity. The ranking question stays open until such a test exists. Until then, the sensible choice is a bank whose wireless standard and 25W rating match the phone, whose size suits you, and whose maker publishes clear specifications and a warranty.
Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max specifications are the authority for what the phone accepts. Anker’s product article is the authority for what Anker claims for the MagGo 2 Pro. Neither source confirms performance in practice.
