Why there is no single best preset
Honor of Kings does not have one confirmed maximum configuration that suits every phone or tablet. Level Infinite has published image-quality and frame-rate adjustments for select devices, as well as separate optimization notes for specific devices. That makes the options shown on your own client more useful than a settings list copied from another player.

- Check the frame-rate choices in the game’s current settings. Use the highest option available as a starting point; do not assume every device offers the same tiers.
- Play a full match, including a busy team fight. Notice whether animation remains smooth over time and whether the device becomes uncomfortably hot.
- Step down one option if performance becomes unstable. A lower, steady setting is a more practical choice than a higher one that stutters or becomes uncomfortable to use.
For supported HONOR phones and tablets, HONOR describes tiers corresponding to 30, 60, 90 and 120 frames per second. Those are setting descriptions for supported models, not a promise that every device—or every Honor of Kings client—offers those choices. HONOR also warns that higher frame-rate settings can make a device more prone to heat. HONOR’s gaming lag and response troubleshooting guidance gives that advice in the context of its own devices.

Adjust image quality for readable fights
If you notice stutter or heat, lower demanding visual effects before sacrificing all visual detail. The goal is a stable match where you can still distinguish heroes and important combat effects.
- Try reducing particle effects if crowded fights are difficult to read. A third-party settings guide recommends low particle quality for ranked play, but official notices do not establish that value as the best choice across global clients. Treat it as a preference to test, not a verified universal setting.
- Recheck visibility after each change. If heroes or important effects become harder for you to distinguish, restore some detail or try a different available option.
- Change one setting at a time. That makes it easier to tell whether a change improved stability or simply made the screen less readable.
The official Honor of Kings game guides page identifies Official Guides and Pro Guides, but does not provide a universal settings menu or preset. Exact controls and image options should therefore be verified in your own client.

Check lag that graphics settings cannot fix
When animation looks smooth but actions or opponents seem delayed, the issue may be the connection rather than image quality. HONOR identifies an unstable network as a possible cause of gaming delay or disconnection on its devices. Graphics changes cannot repair a weak or interrupted connection.

For lag or slow response on HONOR phones and tablets, the manufacturer recommends checking network stability, closing unnecessary background apps, keeping storage available, and disabling power-saving mode. These are vendor troubleshooting suggestions for HONOR devices, not guaranteed fixes for every phone.

Reduce heat without guessing at a magic setting
If the device becomes uncomfortably hot during play, lower the frame-rate tier or visual load and let it rest until it cools. HONOR also recommends reducing brightness and avoiding play while charging where practical. These are HONOR’s recommendations for its device-support context; they do not guarantee a particular temperature or prevent throttling on other devices.
A phone cooler is an optional accessory to consider only if heat is a recurring problem. HONOR’s guidance does not test or endorse coolers, so do not assume one will improve frame rate or prevent performance slowdowns.

Compare settings on three practical measures
- Sustained smoothness: Does the selected frame-rate option hold through longer play and busy fights?
- Readability: Can you distinguish heroes and important effects without unnecessary visual clutter?
- Comfort: Does the device remain comfortable to hold, without heat or battery use becoming a concern?
These are practical comparison criteria, not a published test standard. No controlled evidence establishes that a particular setting improves rank or reaction time.
