Its catalog listing for Superfeet Hike Cushion presents a cushioning-oriented option with medium-to-high flexible arch support. REI describes CURREX HIKEPRO as offering flexible support and shock-absorbing cushioning.

Volume and space inside the boot
Volume describes how much space an insole occupies inside footwear. CURREX HIKEPRO is listed in low, medium and high-volume versions: see REI’s listings for low, medium and high volumes. REI’s selection guide says high-volume insoles are best for high arches and are commonly used in hiking boots, ski boots and running shoes. Treat that as general selection guidance, not a guarantee that a volume or arch category will feel right for you.
Heel shape and grip
Heel cups and grippy surfaces are design features, not proof that an insole will prevent blisters or resolve pain. Superfeet Hike Support is described as having a deep heel cup. REI’s CURREX HIKEPRO high-volume listing describes a deep heel cup and anti-slip heel surface.
