Short answer: Choose Battlefield REDSEC for the closest large-scale match—squads, vehicles, 100-player battles and tactical destruction. Choose Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered when demolishing buildings is the main attraction. Choose Teardown for voxel destruction, co-op and creative experimentation. THE FINALS remains the strongest fit for fast, objective-driven team combat where destroyed cover and buildings change a live arena.
The games that best match THE FINALS
THE FINALS combines three elements that are uncommon together: a fast first-person team shooter, objective pressure and destruction that has immediate tactical consequences. PlayStation describes realistic destruction physics that can wreck cover, level buildings and transform the battlefield during a match. The Steam listing calls it a free-to-play, physics-driven “Dynamism Shooter.” You are not simply shooting scenery for visual effect: a wall can stop protecting a team, a building can lose a route, and an objective can become exposed while players are still fighting.

The alternatives below separate those elements in different ways. REDSEC expands tactical destruction into a much larger squad-and-vehicle battlefield. Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered makes structural demolition the headline mechanic in an open world and destructive multiplayer modes. Teardown turns destruction into a voxel sandbox built around tools, planning, co-op, PvP and experimentation rather than a direct arena-shooter replacement.

| Game | Destruction role | Combat format | Scale and pacing | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| THE FINALS | Real-time tactical destruction of cover and buildings | First-person team arena shooter | Compact, fast and objective-driven | Players who want destruction integrated into competitive matches |
| Battlefield REDSEC | Tactical environment reshaping | Large-scale squad shooter with vehicles | 100-player matches; broader battlefield | Players who want scale, vehicles and squad warfare |
| Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered | Destruction is the central mechanic | Third-person open-world shooter plus destructive multiplayer modes | Open-world and less arena-like | Players who want to demolish structures first |

What makes THE FINALS the benchmark
In THE FINALS, destruction is part of the competitive ruleset. Teams fight in compact arenas, use class-based abilities and weapons, and contest objectives while the geometry changes. Cover can be removed instead of merely bypassed. A route that was safe at the start of a round can become visible, blocked or dangerous after players damage the surrounding structure.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
That combination creates a particular rhythm: rapid engagements, short decisions about positioning and a constant need to read the altered arena. The game is free to play, but its defining feature for this comparison is not its business model. It is the way destruction is folded into live team tactics rather than isolated in a separate demolition mode.
Every recommendation below is therefore a trade-off. A game may offer more buildings to destroy but slower third-person combat, or more players and vehicles but less compact objective pressure. No candidate reproduces every part of THE FINALS at once.
Battlefield REDSEC: the closest large-scale alternative
Why it is the first recommendation
Electronic Arts describes REDSEC as a free-to-play Battlefield experience with 100 players per match. Its official update specifies either 25 squads of four or 50 duos, and says destruction can be used to reshape the environment to your advantage. That makes it the clearest choice when what you want from THE FINALS is tactical destruction during a competitive multiplayer fight, but on a much larger battlefield.

Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteThe important similarity is functional rather than visual. In both games, destroying part of the environment can change sightlines, cover and routes while a match is in progress. REDSEC places that idea inside a squad-oriented war sandbox, so the consequences are spread across a wider area and coordinated through larger team formations.
How the scale changes the experience
- Player count: EA’s stated format is 100 players per match, organized as 25 four-person squads or 50 duos.
- Vehicles: REDSEC adds vehicles to the destruction-and-combat equation, creating threats and movement options that do not define THE FINALS’ compact arena loop.
- Space: Expect longer sightlines and a broader battlefield. A demolished position may matter to a squad’s approach without immediately deciding a close-range objective fight.
- Team structure: Squad warfare changes communication and pacing. You are managing wider deployments and more simultaneous engagements rather than concentrating on a small arena objective.
What you gain and what you give up
REDSEC is the best fit if your mental picture is a large firefight in which buildings, cover and vehicles interact. It offers more room for flanking, longer-range engagements and squad maneuvers than THE FINALS. The cost is compactness: the action is less likely to funnel every player into the same rapidly changing objective space.

Choose REDSEC when scale is the deciding factor. If your priority is the immediate feedback of breaking a wall to expose an opponent during a fast arena contest, THE FINALS remains more focused. If you want that environmental idea expanded into a battlefield with vehicles and 100-player formations, REDSEC is the natural move.
Best for
- Players who want squad-based combat rather than small-team arena concentration.
- Players who specifically want vehicles involved in a destructible battlefield.
- Players who prefer broad sightlines, larger maneuvers and a 100-player match structure.
Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered: the destruction-first choice
Why demolition is the main event
The official Steam description says Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered “re-defines the limits of destruction-based game-play,” with “true physics-based destruction,” fully destructible open-world environments and highly destructive multiplayer combat modes. Among these recommendations, it is the most direct answer to the question, “Which game lets me knock down the structure itself?”
Its design starts from destruction rather than treating it as one tactical layer inside a tightly bounded arena. Buildings and other structures are intended to be attacked, weakened and brought down. That persistence and breadth make it a stronger demolition fantasy than THE FINALS, where destruction is optimized to alter cover, routes and objectives during a match.
How its format differs from THE FINALS
Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered is an older third-person open-world shooter. Its open-world scale and camera perspective produce a different relationship with combat: you can approach structures, plan an attack and see the result over a larger space instead of moving through a compact first-person arena built around rapid objective rotations.
Its destructive multiplayer modes are important, but they do not turn it into a modern one-to-one substitute for THE FINALS. The game’s strength is the amount and persistence of environmental damage. The trade-off is a less concentrated competitive loop, with less emphasis on the class-based, first-person, fast-arena formula that defines THE FINALS.

- Flawless 4K@60Hz Video with HDMI: Delivers exceptional clarity and smoothness with its 4K@60Hz HDMI port, making it ideal for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video projection; the USB-C port is for data transfer only.)

- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
Best for
- Players who rank structural destruction above match speed.
- Players who want an open world in which buildings are targets, not just pieces of cover.
- Players interested in destructive multiplayer modes but willing to play a third-person, older-style shooter.
When not to choose it
Do not choose it expecting the same tempo as THE FINALS. If your favorite moments are rapid team fights around a live objective, instant repositioning and compact sightline changes, its open-world structure may feel too spacious. Choose it when the act of dismantling the environment is itself the reason to play.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsTeardown: the voxel sandbox for co-op and experimentation
What makes its destruction different
Steam lists Teardown as a destruction-physics voxel sandbox with a campaign, online PvP, online co-op and Steam Workshop support. Its destruction is tool-driven and systemic: the attraction is planning a breach, manipulating the environment and testing what happens when structures, vehicles and routes interact.
That makes Teardown a strong recommendation for players who want to solve problems creatively rather than simply exchange fire in a competitive arena. You can approach a scenario as a demolition puzzle, use vehicles or tools to create access, and experiment with alternate solutions. Co-op gives those plans a shared dimension, while PvP and Workshop support broaden the ways players can use the sandbox.
Why it is not a direct replacement
Teardown’s central loop is broader than THE FINALS’ rapid team combat. Its campaign and sandbox structure give destruction more room to breathe, while THE FINALS is built around immediate objective pressure and short competitive engagements. A player looking for constant arena firefights may find Teardown too tool-focused; a player who wants to plan a breach with friends may find that difference exactly right.

Destruction types: tactical, structural and voxel
The word “destruction” describes different experiences in these games. Identifying the type you want is more useful than counting how many objects can break.
Real-time tactical destruction
THE FINALS uses destruction to alter a competitive fight as it happens. The practical question is, “What does this change about the next engagement?” A destroyed wall may remove cover, open a route or expose an objective. The value is measured in seconds and positioning.
Large-scale environmental reshaping
REDSEC applies the same tactical idea to a wider squad battlefield. A position can be reshaped to improve an approach or deny one, while vehicles and longer sightlines expand the number of ways teams can exploit the new geometry. The result is less intimate than an arena but more expansive in movement and coordination.
Persistent structural demolition
Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered treats destruction as a primary activity. The question is not merely whether a route opens during a fight, but how much of a structure can be physically dismantled. Its fully destructible open-world environments and destructive multiplayer modes make it the clearest pick for demolition-first play.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Voxel and tool-driven experimentation
Teardown focuses on a sandbox of breakable voxel structures, tools and vehicles. Destruction becomes a method for solving a scenario, building a route or testing a plan. Its campaign, co-op, PvP and Workshop support make it the most flexible choice for players who want creative sessions rather than one fixed competitive format.

Choose by the experience you actually want
| Your priority | Choose | Reason | Main compromise |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fast competitive matches where destroyed cover changes an objective fight | THE FINALS | Destruction, class-based teams and arena pacing are designed together | Smaller scale than a large battlefield |
| Large squads, vehicles and 100-player destruction | Battlefield REDSEC | Broader tactical environment with 25 squads of four or 50 duos | Less compact and less arena-like |
| Maximum emphasis on knocking down structures | Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered | Fully destructible open-world environments and destructive multiplayer modes | Older third-person format and slower, wider flow |
| Co-op demolition, creative tools and voxel experimentation | Teardown | Campaign, online co-op, online PvP and Workshop-oriented sandbox play | Not a one-to-one competitive arena shooter |
Competitive multiplayer versus co-op destruction
Start with the type of social session you expect to play most often. If you want every destroyed surface to affect an opponent immediately, prioritize THE FINALS or REDSEC. Their destruction is part of a live competitive context, so the value comes from timing, positioning and team pressure.
If you want to coordinate a plan with friends without requiring every session to resemble an esports-style match, Teardown is the stronger fit. Its online co-op and campaign support let players treat destruction as a shared problem-solving activity. PvP is available as another mode, but the game’s identity remains a sandbox rather than a narrowly defined arena shooter.
Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered sits between those motivations. It offers destructive multiplayer modes, yet its open-world, third-person design means the appeal is the scale of demolition as much as the competitive structure. It suits players who are happy for destruction to remain the headline even when the match flow does not resemble THE FINALS.
What to check before choosing a game
Multiplayer features, service modes, platform support and marketplace availability can change. Before installing or buying, verify the details for your region and edition rather than relying on an old listing.
- Confirm the current multiplayer mode. Check whether the mode you want is live, experimental or tied to a particular branch.
- Check the player format. REDSEC’s stated 100-player structure is not the same kind of session as an arena match, a destructive multiplayer mode or a co-op sandbox.
- Match the destruction to your goal. For tactical cover changes, choose an arena or large-scale squad shooter; for demolition itself, choose a structural or voxel sandbox.
- Verify perspective and pacing. Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered is third person and open world, while THE FINALS and REDSEC are first-person shooters. Teardown’s tool-driven sessions have a different tempo again.
- Check edition, platform and regional availability. These details are volatile, and a multiplayer feature documented during development may not be available in every current configuration.
What cannot be concluded from these recommendations
There is no authoritative, directly comparable current-player dataset for all four games in this set. It is therefore not responsible to rank them by player-base size or claim that one has the largest community. The recommendations are based on documented design, destruction systems and multiplayer formats, not a popularity league table.
Likewise, “more destruction” does not automatically mean “more like THE FINALS.” Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered may offer the strongest demolition focus, but its third-person open-world structure changes the entire combat rhythm. Teardown may offer the broadest creative destruction, but its sandbox emphasis changes what a match is for. REDSEC may provide the largest battlefield, but its wider scale changes how quickly an individual destroyed wall affects an objective.
Final recommendation
Pick Battlefield REDSEC if you want the closest current large-scale interpretation of THE FINALS’ tactical destruction: squads, vehicles, 100 players and an environment that can be reshaped during combat. Pick Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered if destruction is the priority and you want to tear down substantial open-world structures through destructive multiplayer modes. Pick Teardown if you want voxel destruction, co-op, PvP and the freedom to plan or improvise with tools.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Stay with THE FINALS when the non-negotiable requirement is fast first-person team combat in compact arenas where every broken piece of cover can change the next objective fight. The alternatives are best understood as different answers to the same desire: REDSEC adds scale, Red Faction adds demolition, and Teardown adds experimentation.
