If you want another mobile RPG built around collecting heroes and making progress while you’re away, start by comparing AFK Arena, Idle Heroes, and Omniheroes. Their official store listings describe overlapping idle progression and hero-collection features, but they don’t establish which game is most generous, least grindy, or best for free-to-play players.
What to look for in games like Heroes of Crown
Heroes of Crown: Legends is described on its Google Play listing as a fantasy idle RPG focused on recruiting heroes, building teams, strategic battles, growth while away, guilds, and competitive PvP. The listing displayed an update date of July 23, 2026. Its US App Store listing identifies Ujoy Games Limited as the developer and presents the game as free with in-app purchases.

That makes the closest comparisons games that combine offline or away-time progression with a collectible roster—not simply any fantasy RPG. These three are candidates to compare, rather than a tested ranking:

| Idle Heroes | A direct match for the away-time growth loop | Its official store listing says heroes train while you are away and describes factions, summoning, roster evolution, arena, and other modes. |
| Omniheroes | Fantasy setting with a large hero-collection focus | Its US App Store listing calls it a fantasy-themed idle strategy RPG and describes assembling more than 100 heroes in a Valkyrie-focused setting. |
AFK Arena: a fantasy roster and active modes
AFK Arena is a natural first comparison if you want a fantasy world and a hero roster to build around. The current US App Store listing highlights campaign challenges, co-op modes, hero borrowing, a beast system, and a “Get All Heroes” event. It also advertises “1,000+ summons”; that is a store-listing claim, not an independent measure of generosity or progression quality.

- Farm Simulation Gaming design. This Video Game Farmer - Farm Simulator design is perfect for those who love to play cozy core video games.
- The perfect cozy core gaming design for those who like idle RPG video games.
- Lightweight, Classic fit, Double-needle sleeve and bottom hem
AFK Arena’s official site describes Esperia, unique heroes and factions, and rewards earned effortlessly. The current App Store listing’s features and event language reflect what it surfaced at the time checked; they should not be assumed to describe every version or server indefinitely.
Idle Heroes: away-time training at the center
Idle Heroes most plainly echoes the away-time loop: its official store listing says heroes train while you are away. It also describes factions, summoning, evolving your roster, arena, and other game modes. Those features make it a close mechanical comparison, but they do not establish that its pacing or monetization matches Heroes of Crown.

- Colorful Curious Monster Cast - The Monster Encyclopedia fills with stories about quirky co-workers: jungle-dwelling goblins, cute little slugs, selfie-loving skeletons, and magical Romanesco broccoli
- It Takes Some Legends to Make a Part-time Hero - Directed by Takahiro Yamane, written by Nobuyuki Inoue, in a colorful 2D world created by Nobuhiro Imagawa , and with Tsukasa Masuko’s whimsical tunes
Omniheroes: fantasy idle strategy and a broad roster
Omniheroes is described on its US App Store listing as a fantasy-themed idle strategy RPG. The listing says players can assemble more than 100 heroes and emphasizes a Valkyrie-focused fantasy setting. That makes it worth considering if roster collection is a priority; the listing does not show that it requires less daily upkeep or offers better free progression than Heroes of Crown.
How to choose between them
Check the same practical details in each game’s listing and, when possible, in the game itself. Store descriptions establish broad feature overlap, not how the day-to-day experience compares.

- Roster and team building: Compare the emphasis on hero or faction variety, team composition, and synergy.
- Active modes: Check whether campaign, arena or PvP, guild, co-op, and other activities match the kind of play you want.
- Local version and cost model: Review your region’s current store page for availability, features, age rating, and in-app purchases. A free-to-download label does not establish how far a non-paying player can progress.
Availability and listing claims can change
Store pages, game modes, events, and promotions change over time and may vary by region or server. The cited Apple listings are US storefront pages; check your local storefront for current availability and details before downloading. The descriptions support comparing these games by their stated idle and collection features, but not a definitive verdict on free-to-play balance, daily workload, or strategic depth.
