The strongest general-purpose Flins setup is an on-field Electro polearm build focused on Lunar-Charged damage and his Elemental Burst. Equip four pieces of Night of the Sky’s Unveiling, use ATK% on the Sands and Goblet, balance CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG on the Circlet, and start with Bloodsoaked Ruins or the craftable Prospector’s Shovel. Level the Burst first, then the Skill, and tune Energy Recharge to the teammates and rotation rather than chasing one universal number.
Flins build at a glance
| Slot | Recommended starting point | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Role | On-field Electro polearm damage dealer | His personal damage is built around staying active and triggering Lunar-Charged through his Burst and Skill. |
| Artifact set | Four-piece Night of the Sky’s Unveiling | It is the common best-set recommendation across the current Flins guides. |
| Sands | ATK% | ATK directly supports his damage profile and is the standard guide recommendation. |
| Goblet | ATK% | Guide consensus favors ATK% for Lunar-Charged-oriented Flins rather than automatically using an Electro DMG Bonus goblet. |
| Circlet | CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG | Choose the side of the ratio your substats and weapon are missing. |
| Best weapon | Bloodsoaked Ruins | It is Flins’s signature option, with Lunar-Charged, CRIT and energy-related benefits cited by current guides. |
| Free-to-play option | Prospector’s Shovel | The Nod-Krai craftable is repeatedly identified as the strongest accessible alternative. |
| Talent order | Elemental Burst > Elemental Skill > Normal Attack | The Burst is the centerpiece of his damage, while Normal Attacks are usually the lowest priority. |
These are guide recommendations, not guaranteed damage results. The best final configuration changes with weapon refinements, artifact quality, constellations, teammates and the content you are clearing.

What Flins does and what the build must support
Flins is an Electro polearm character whose intended carry role is Lunar-Charged damage. That makes him different from a conventional Electro unit built only to trigger ordinary Electro reactions or to deal isolated personal Skill damage. His team must provide the elements and buffs needed to keep Lunar-Charged available while Flins remains on field long enough to use his Burst sequence.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- Provide enough ATK and CRIT for his personal attacks and Burst.
- Keep his Burst ready on the team’s rotation.
- Preserve consistent Lunar-Charged uptime through compatible Electro, Hydro and support teammates.
That is why a weapon with slightly lower theoretical offensive output can feel better if it fixes energy problems, and why an artifact piece with a smaller spreadsheet score can be preferable when it completes the four-piece set.
Artifact set and main stats
Use four pieces of Night of the Sky’s Unveiling
Mobalytics and GameWith both identify Night of the Sky’s Unveiling as Flins’s best or standard artifact set, and Icy Veins uses the same set in its build guidance. For a finished build, prioritize a functional four-piece bonus over mixing attractive two-piece ATK or CRIT sets. A mixed set can be a temporary solution while farming, but it should not be treated as the intended endpoint when the four-piece set is available with usable stats.
Because the set recommendation is shared by multiple guides, it is the safest default for an account that wants one Flins build rather than several specialized loadouts. Keep strong off-set pieces if they let you reach a balanced CRIT ratio, but do not sacrifice a large amount of usable set value for a tiny increase on one artifact’s substats.

Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Main-stat choices
| Artifact | Main stat | How to choose |
|---|---|---|
| Sands of Eon | ATK% | Use this as the default. An Energy Recharge Sands is a troubleshooting option only when the team cannot meet Burst requirements with substats and weapons. |
| Goblet of Eonothem | ATK% | Current Flins guides favor ATK% for Lunar-Charged damage. GameWith specifically says an Electro DMG Bonus goblet is not required for this damage pattern. |
| Circlet of Logos | CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG | Pick CRIT Rate when your weapon or substats supply substantial CRIT DMG, and pick CRIT DMG when the reverse is true. |
The ATK% Goblet recommendation is a Flins-specific guide judgment, not a rule that applies to every Electro character. If a future mechanic or balance change alters how Lunar-Charged scales, reassess the comparison; the current sources support ATK% as the practical default.
Substats and Energy Recharge
Prioritize enough Energy Recharge to cast the Burst every rotation, then seek CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG and ATK%. Elemental Mastery is a useful secondary stat because the team is built around a reaction, but it should not replace a badly underdeveloped CRIT ratio or leave the Burst unavailable.

Published ER advice is deliberately broad. Mobalytics gives 110–135% as a general range and notes that the requirement changes with teammates, Favonius weapons and content. Icy Veins gives 120–130% as general guidance and separately lists 120–140% as a target range. These figures should be treated as tuning windows, not hard thresholds: test the build in the exact team and raise ER if Flins misses his Burst at the start of the next rotation.
Published stat targets, with their qualifications
| Guide | Published target | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| Icy Veins, updated January 30, 2026 | About 2,000 ATK; 45–55% CRIT Rate; 170–200% CRIT DMG; 120–140% ER | A practical target assuming decent artifact rolls and Prospector’s Shovel. It is not a performance guarantee. |
| Mobalytics, updated July 18, 2026 | 110–135% ER guidance | A broad range that changes with the team, weapons and encounter. |
| GameWith, updated October 10, 2026 | 2,500 ATK; 80% CRIT Rate; 200% CRIT DMG; 140% ER | A more ambitious suggested goal. Other guides publish lower or differently balanced targets, so this is not settled consensus. |
The disagreement is useful: it shows why copying a single number can produce a worse build. A 45% CRIT Rate build with a CRIT Rate weapon may be healthy, while the same visible rate on a weapon without CRIT may be too low. Likewise, 110% ER may work with strong particle generation and Favonius support but fail in a team that produces fewer particles.
Best Flins weapons
| Weapon | Best use | Decision factors |
|---|---|---|
| Bloodsoaked Ruins | Signature and highest-investment choice | Current guides describe Lunar-Charged damage, CRIT and energy benefits. Mobalytics calls it best in slot. |
| Prospector’s Shovel | Free-to-play and low-spending accounts | A Nod-Krai craftable repeatedly recommended as Flins’s best accessible option. |
| Primordial Jade Winged-Spear | Strong existing five-star alternative | Useful when already owned, especially if its CRIT profile completes your ratio. |
| Staff of the Scarlet Sands | Alternative for accounts that can exploit its offensive stats | Compare the value of its CRIT and Elemental Mastery with your team’s actual reaction frequency. |
| Deathmatch | Battle-pass alternative | Its value depends on access, refinement and whether the CRIT Rate lets you move to a CRIT DMG Circlet. |
Bloodsoaked Ruins: choose it for the whole rotation
Bloodsoaked Ruins is the cleanest premium recommendation because its benefits are aligned with the way Flins is played rather than being only a generic ATK stick. The cited guides associate it with Lunar-Charged damage, CRIT and energy comfort. If you already have it, build the rest of the character around a stable CRIT ratio and do not over-invest in ER at the expense of damage before checking whether the passive and team particles already cover your rotation.
Prospector’s Shovel: the practical free-to-play answer
Prospector’s Shovel is the most consistently supported free-to-play choice in the current coverage. It is craftable in Nod-Krai and is specifically used as the assumption behind Icy Veins’ lower stat target. That makes it more than a placeholder: it is a legitimate way to build Flins without a signature weapon. Refinement level, billet availability and your account’s existing polearms still matter, so compare the finished character rather than judging the weapon in isolation.
How to choose among other polearms
There is no evidence for one universal substitute ranking. Compare candidates using three questions:
Rank #3
- Sleek 7-in-1 USB-C Hub: Features an HDMI port, two USB-A 3.0 ports, and a USB-C data port, each providing 5Gbps transfer speeds. It also includes a USB-C PD input port for charging up to 100W and dual SD and TF card slots, all in a compact design.
- Flawless 4K@60Hz Video with HDMI: Delivers exceptional clarity and smoothness with its 4K@60Hz HDMI port, making it ideal for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video projection; the USB-C port is for data transfer only.)
- Double Up on Efficiency: The two USB-A 3.0 ports and a USB-C port support a fast 5Gbps data rate, significantly boosting your transfer speeds and improving productivity.
- Fast and Reliable 85W Charging: Offers high-capacity, speedy charging for laptops up to 85W, so you spend less time tethered to an outlet and more time being productive.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
- Does the weapon improve Lunar-Charged damage or provide useful offensive stats?
- Does it make the Burst rotation reliable without forcing an ER Sands?
- Do you already own it, and can its CRIT or ATK profile repair your artifacts?
Primordial Jade Winged-Spear, Staff of the Scarlet Sands and Deathmatch can all be reasonable depending on those answers. A weapon with slightly lower guide ranking can be better on your account if it removes an ER problem or lets you replace a weak Circlet.

Best Flins teams
Build around Lunar-Charged, not a fixed roster
The team needs a way to enable Lunar-Charged consistently, an on-field window for Flins, and enough support to keep the rotation alive. Current guides highlight Ineffa as an especially valuable partner, Hydro characters as reaction enablers, and Sucrose or similar supports for buffs and resistance reduction. Some Moonsign-dependent effects also call for a second Nod-Krai character, so check the exact requirement of the effect you are trying to activate rather than assuming every team gains the same benefit.
- Flins: on-field carry who uses the team’s setup and then performs the main Burst sequence.
- Ineffa: a frequently recommended partner for Lunar-Charged teams.
- Hydro support: supplies the elemental aura needed to keep the intended reaction available.
- Anemo support such as Sucrose: can provide buffs and resistance reduction when the encounter and team allow it.
- Second Nod-Krai unit: useful or required for effects that explicitly depend on Moonsign or related conditions.
- Defensive slot: add healing or shielding when survivability, interruption resistance or domain mechanics matter more than a fourth offensive buff.
Example team shells
| Shell | What it demonstrates | When to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Flins, Ineffa, Columbina, Sucrose | A guide example with Lunar-Charged setup, support buffs and Anemo utility. | Use when these characters are available and the content does not demand a dedicated healer or shielder. |
| Flins, Ineffa, Aino, Sucrose | A HoYoLAB community example that includes another supportive Nod-Krai option. | Treat it as one tested-style template, not a mandatory lineup; replace slots according to your roster and survivability needs. |
These examples do not establish that Columbina or Aino is mandatory. Preserve the functions—reaction setup, support, energy and survivability—when making substitutions.
Rotation examples
Mobalytics gives an example ordering of Ineffa, Columbina, Sucrose and then Flins’s on-field combo. A HoYoLAB community guide lists Aino EQ > Ineffa EQ > Sucrose EE > Flins sequence, where the letters refer to the characters’ Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst inputs. Both are examples rather than universal rules.

- Start with the support that establishes the required aura or team effect.
- Use Ineffa or the second setup character while enemy debuffs and off-field effects can be established.
- Use Sucrose or another support at the point that preserves the buffs for Flins’s damage window.
- Swap to Flins, cast his Burst, use the Skill as required by the sequence, and stay on field for the intended Lunar-Charged attacks.
- After the sequence ends, collect particles and repeat only when the required buffs and reaction setup are ready.
If Flins’s Burst is not ready on the next cycle, shorten the field time of low-impact supports, add a Favonius weapon where appropriate, or raise ER. Do not blindly repeat a showcase rotation when your account generates fewer particles or uses different enemy groups.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Talent priority and combat plan
Level the Burst first
All three current guide sources agree on the broad order: Elemental Burst first, Elemental Skill second, Normal Attack last. The Burst is the centerpiece of the on-field damage window, while the Skill supports the same play pattern. Normal Attacks are generally lower priority because they are not the main reason to invest resources in Flins’s Lunar-Charged build.
Raise the Normal Attack talent later if you enjoy extended field time, your personal testing shows meaningful damage from its portion of the sequence, or you have already finished the Burst and Skill. For a resource-limited account, stopping Normal Attacks behind the other two talents is the efficient choice supported by current guides.
Field-time discipline
Flins is not a quick-swap unit in the recommended build. Enter the field after supports have done their work, use the Burst-centered sequence, and leave when the buffs or reaction setup expire. Staying on field after the team’s setup ends can lower total damage and delay the next rotation, even if Flins’s individual attacks still look strong.

- Choose the team first. Decide which Hydro, Ineffa, Anemo and defensive options you will actually play. This determines ER needs and whether a second Nod-Krai character is needed for a specific effect.
- Equip the best available polearm. Use Bloodsoaked Ruins if owned; otherwise craft Prospector’s Shovel or use an existing CRIT-focused alternative.
- Farm the four-piece artifact set. Keep a usable four-piece Night of the Sky’s Unveiling set even before every substat is perfect.
- Lock the main stats. Start with ATK% Sands, ATK% Goblet and a CRIT Circlet. Do not discard an ATK Goblet solely because it lacks an Electro label; GameWith’s Flins guidance specifically supports ATK% for Lunar-Charged damage.
- Fix the rotation before chasing damage. Test whether the Burst is available every cycle. Raise ER or improve particle generation if it is not.
- Balance CRIT. Choose Rate or DMG on the Circlet according to the weapon and substats, then improve the weaker side rather than pursuing one headline number.
- Level talents in order. Spend books and crowns on Burst, then Skill, and only afterward on Normal Attack.
- Retest in real content. Check multi-wave encounters, single targets and the domains you actually play; an ER requirement that works on one enemy group may fail on another.
Common mistakes and fixes
Using an Electro DMG Goblet automatically
Electro DMG is an intuitive choice for an Electro character, but the current Flins-specific guidance does not require it for Lunar-Charged damage. Start with ATK% and compare completed builds rather than applying a generic Electro rule.

Copying one ER number
The published ranges span 110–135%, 120–130% and 120–140% because team particle generation and weapon choices differ. If the Burst is late, add ER; if it is consistently ready with room to spare, move future rolls toward CRIT and ATK.
Chasing GameWith’s highest target as a minimum
GameWith’s 2,500 ATK, 80% CRIT Rate, 200% CRIT DMG and 140% ER figures are ambitious suggested goals. Icy Veins publishes lower CRIT and ATK targets, and Mobalytics emphasizes a broad ER range. Treat the numbers as milestones from different guides, not a pass/fail test.
Building a team with no reaction setup
A powerful polearm cannot compensate for a rotation that does not consistently provide the elements and support Lunar-Charged expects. Add a Hydro enabler and preserve the setup window before Flins enters the field.
Forcing one showcase team onto every account
The published examples use different supporting characters, and your roster may need healing, shielding or a second Nod-Krai unit. Substitute by function, then retune the rotation and ER after the swap.
How to judge whether the build is finished
- Flins’s Burst is ready at the intended point in the rotation without delaying the team.
- The artifact set is complete and the main stats are ATK%, ATK% and CRIT unless a specific testing result justifies a deviation.
- CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG are balanced for the equipped weapon rather than copied from another build.
- Lunar-Charged setup remains active during Flins’s field time.
- The chosen weapon fits your account’s access and energy needs, not just a ranking screenshot.
- Survivability is sufficient for the content; a slightly lower theoretical damage ceiling is often preferable to interrupted rotations.
As of the guide updates dated January 30, July 18 and October 10, 2026, the consistent recommendation is a Burst-led Flins carrying four-piece Night of the Sky’s Unveiling, with ATK main stats, a CRIT-balanced Circlet, and a Lunar-Charged team. Because all cited rankings come from secondary or community guides, future characters, weapons or balance changes can alter the best option; revisit the comparison whenever your roster or the game’s mechanics change.
