Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFor a tracker that explicitly covers heart rate, calories and steps, Fitbit Charge 6 is the clearest all-round band choice. Garmin vívoactive 6 suits people who want a watch with built-in GPS, while Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 is a budget-oriented band and Apple Watch SE 3 is the iPhone-first smartwatch option. These devices estimate calories burned; none should be treated as a precise measure of energy expenditure.
There is no sound basis here for ranking all six by accuracy: the available independent test evidence covers only one model, and the products have not been compared under one shared protocol. Choose by the form factor, phone compatibility, GPS and battery life you need, then treat the readings as useful trends rather than exact measurements.

| Garmin vívosmart 5 | A slim band for Garmin users who can carry a phone for GPS | Connected GPS; compatible smartphone required | Not stated in the cited product details |
Battery figures and compatibility notes in the table are from TechRadar’s 2026 roundup unless attributed to Garmin; manufacturer specifications and real-world battery life can differ. The six choices are not a uniform accuracy ranking. Fitbit Charge 6 is included because its official product page directly lists the three metrics in the title; Garmin vívosmart 5 adds a band alternative with similarly explicit feature coverage.

Fitbit Charge 6: clearest match for the three headline metrics
Google Store says the Charge 6 tracks heart rate, steps, distance and calories burned. Its product information also lists more than 40 exercise modes and the ability to send heart-rate data to select compatible exercise machines. It stores seven days of detailed minute-by-minute motion data and daily totals for the last 30 days; during exercise tracking, heart-rate data is recorded at one-second intervals and at five-second intervals at other times. Those are product specifications, not proof that each reading will be accurate for every wearer or activity. Google’s “most accurate” phrasing is a manufacturer claim, not independent validation. Google Store’s Fitbit Charge 6 feature page and technical details provide the feature and data-retention information.

Garmin vívoactive 6: built-in GPS in a smartwatch-style tracker
Garmin lists daily step and calorie tracking, continuous wrist-based heart-rate sampling, built-in GPS and compatibility with iPhone and Android. Garmin advertises up to 11 days of battery life. TechRadar’s 2026 roundup says heart-rate tracking could be better and GPS less precise than on some Garmin models; those are that outlet’s editorial observations, not a controlled comparison across every tracker in this list. Check Garmin’s vívoactive 6 product page for current specifications.
Samsung Galaxy Fit 3: a budget-oriented band
TechRadar names the Galaxy Fit 3 its budget pick and lists up to 13 days of battery life, but no GPS. The roundup also flags an Android compatibility caveat. Because compatibility can vary by market and phone, confirm support for your exact handset and region before buying rather than assuming that any Android phone will work.
Amazfit Active 3 Premium: a value choice with built-in GPS
TechRadar’s 2026 roundup calls this its value pick, lists built-in GPS and up to 12 days of battery life, and describes reviewer testing across workouts. That editorial assessment is useful context, but it does not establish that the model will deliver the same results for every user. Confirm the supported phone and feature set for the exact version sold in your market.

Apple Watch SE 3: the smartwatch option for iPhone owners
TechRadar lists GPS, iOS-only compatibility and 18-hour battery life for the Apple Watch SE 3. Its shorter listed runtime makes charging frequency a more prominent trade-off than with the bands and watches above. It is a better fit for someone who wants a more smartwatch-like device and uses an iPhone than for someone prioritizing long intervals between charges.
Garmin vívosmart 5: a slim band that uses connected GPS
Garmin lists wrist-based heart rate, steps, calories burned and connected GPS for the vívosmart 5. Connected GPS relies on a compatible smartphone, so it is not the same as recording a route with GPS built into the wearable. Garmin also states that this product is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose or monitor medical conditions. See Garmin’s vívosmart 5 product page for its feature details.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What the accuracy evidence does—and does not—show
A feature listing confirms that a device reports a metric; it does not show how closely that metric matches a reference measurement. Consumer Reports’ 2026 buying guide gives the Fitbit Charge 6 an overall score of 69 and an approximate retail price of $160. The price is an approximate figure in that guide, not a current quote. Consumer Reports describes its heart-rate measure as agreement with testers’ actual heart rate and its step-count measure as agreement with testers’ actual steps. Those methods offer model-specific evidence, but they do not establish performance for every person, workout or setting, and they cannot rank the other five models on the same basis. Consumer Reports’ 2026 fitness-tracker guide explains its scores and measures.

The cited product material does not provide a comparable, independently validated calorie-accuracy figure for these six trackers. Treat calories burned as an estimate, not a precise food-budget number or a medical measurement. A device can still be useful for noticing changes over time, especially if you wear it consistently and compare readings under similar conditions.
How to choose based on your routine
- For all three named metrics on a band: Start with Fitbit Charge 6, whose official listing explicitly names heart rate, steps and calories burned.
- For outdoor routes without a phone: Favor a model with built-in GPS, such as Garmin vívoactive 6 or Amazfit Active 3 Premium. A connected-GPS band such as vívosmart 5 depends on a compatible phone.
- For a longer interval between charges: The roundup’s listed maximums favor Galaxy Fit 3, Amazfit Active 3 Premium and vívoactive 6, but maximum battery claims are not guarantees of everyday runtime.
- For an iPhone-centric smartwatch: Apple Watch SE 3 is the iOS-only choice in this group; verify compatibility before purchase if you use another phone platform.
- For a budget band: Galaxy Fit 3 is TechRadar’s budget pick, but its lack of GPS and Android compatibility caveat may outweigh the lower-cost positioning for some buyers.
Before ordering, check the exact model and local price, confirm phone support in your region, and decide whether you need GPS without carrying a phone. Retail prices and availability change; the Consumer Reports price above is approximate, not a live retailer offer.
