There is not enough evidence to name a reliable, ranked list of the “best DevOps bootcamps of 2024.” The available program descriptions are current or undated, not a verified record of 2024 offerings, prices, or outcomes. This historical guide separates those examples from what can responsibly be said about choosing DevOps training.
Why a verified 2024 ranking is not possible
Current comparison pages and provider materials describe several relevant training options, but they do not establish which programs a trustworthy publisher ranked as the best in 2024. Nor do they provide comparable, independently audited 2024 placement rates, graduate salaries, prices, or completion figures. A present-day description should not be passed off as a historical ranking.

The examples below are useful starting points for evaluating training, not a reconstruction of a 2024 top list. Current enrollment, pricing, course content, and terms may have changed; check them directly before making a decision.

What a DevOps training program should teach
DevOps is broader than a collection of tools. Microsoft describes the role as: “A DevOps engineer is a developer or infrastructure administrator who also has subject matter expertise in working with people, processes, and products to enable continuous delivery of value in organizations.” Its scope includes collaboration, code, infrastructure, source control, security, compliance, CI, testing, delivery, monitoring, and feedback. Microsoft Learn’s DevOps Engineer career path is an official reference for that breadth.

When comparing curricula, look for coverage that fits your goal rather than assuming every course needs identical depth in every area. Useful topics to check include:
- Linux, command-line work, networking, scripting, and Git.
- Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, matched to the stack you want to work with.
- Containers, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, configuration management, and orchestration.
- Monitoring, security, reliability, and ways to incorporate feedback into delivery.
Beginners may need to build a foundation in Linux, networking, scripting, Git, and basic application knowledge before tackling an advanced infrastructure path. A course’s topic list is a claim about its curriculum, not proof of teaching quality or job outcomes.

Examples of DevOps training routes
These options differ in format and purpose. A project-based bootcamp, a self-paced lab subscription, an official learning path, and a provider’s cohort course are not interchangeable products.

| Option | What the available description says | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| TechWorld with Nana DevOps Bootcamp | Class Central describes a paid, project-based program lasting 4–6 months, aimed at learners with some technical background. The guide lists Linux, Git, build tools, CI/CD, containers, cloud, Kubernetes, automation, monitoring, and portfolio work. Class Central’s guide does not establish current enrollment or price. | A potentially relevant structured, project-based route; verify the current format, schedule, price, and project support. |
| KodeKloud DevOps Learning Path | Class Central describes a paid, self-paced path with labs and practice covering Linux, networking, Git, scripting, containers, CI/CD, automation, and monitoring. Hakia also lists KodeKloud as a specialized DevOps platform. Class Central and Hakia are discovery sources; present subscription terms are not established here. | Consider it if flexible pacing and practical lab work suit you; check subscription terms and which labs remain available. |
| Microsoft Learn DevOps Engineer path | Microsoft presents self-paced learning paths and instructor-led training. Microsoft Learn is an official training route. | A useful official learning option, but not a career bootcamp. Distinguish course completion from passing a vendor certification exam. |
| Uptut Comprehensive DevOps Bootcamp | Uptut’s undated brochure describes a 200-hour, 8-week curriculum and a 128-hour, 6-week fast-track version. It lists Linux, Git, AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, CI/CD, Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Kubernetes/EKS, Prometheus/Grafana, and a capstone, with hands-on assignments and online or on-site delivery. Uptut’s brochure is the source for these provider-described details. | Confirm current availability, location, schedule, price, and the actual scope of assignments and capstone before enrolling. |
Hakia’s broader comparison includes dedicated DevOps training alongside cloud or software-engineering programs that include DevOps material. Its rankings and prices are secondary editorial claims, and the page discloses affiliate links; use it for discovery rather than as independent proof of quality or value. Hakia’s DevOps bootcamp comparison does not supply a verified historical 2024 ranking.

How to compare programs before paying
Use the same questions for each provider. Get answers in writing, especially where a decision depends on cost, outcomes, or a job guarantee.
- Starting level: What prior experience is expected? If you lack Linux, command-line, networking, scripting, Git, or basic application skills, will the course teach those foundations?
- Practice and feedback: Are labs individual and hands-on? Do cloud exercises require an account or incur charges? What does the project or capstone involve, and who reviews it?
- Schedule and delivery: Is the course cohort-based or self-paced, live or recorded, online or in person? Ask for the weekly time commitment and total duration, not just a promotional headline.
- Fit with your target stack: Check whether the curriculum aligns with the AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud tools used by employers you are targeting. A completion certificate is not the same as a vendor certification exam credential.
- Total cost and terms: Include tuition or subscription fees, exam costs, possible cloud charges, financing terms, refund rules, and the written eligibility requirements for any job guarantee. Terms and availability can depend on geography.
- Career claims: Ask for cohort dates, the number of enrolled learners used as the denominator, the definition of “placed,” whether jobs were DevOps-related, the reporting window, and any third-party verification. Testimonials and career services alone do not establish placement results.
What career-outcome claims can—and cannot—show
The available evidence does not establish comparable, independently audited 2024 placement rates, salaries, or completion outcomes for these options. Do not treat a provider’s career support or testimonials as a job guarantee. Likewise, broad labor-market and salary figures on comparison pages are not bootcamp graduate outcomes; Hakia’s labor-growth figure refers to software developers, while its salary figures are secondary estimates.
