There is no evidence-based universal winner for every 24/7 YouTube podcast stream. First decide whether you mean a live show with a host speaking in real time or a channel that continuously plays prerecorded episodes. For prerecorded episodes, StreamNeo is the simplest fit to consider first: it loops uploaded videos from the cloud, keeps running with your computer off, and charges one flat price per slot for any supported quality up to 4K 60fps. For a genuinely live hosted show, AWS and Google Cloud offer relevant managed video services, but they require a workload-specific design and cost estimate; neither should be treated as a turnkey YouTube restreamer without checking the exact workflow.
Choose the right kind of 24/7 podcast stream
Live-hosted podcast
A live-hosted show contains a presenter or guests contributing audio and video in real time. You need a way to get that live feed into an encoder or cloud video pipeline, then send the resulting stream to YouTube. A cloud encoding service can remove some local encoding and delivery work, but it does not by itself establish a complete, reliable, low-latency YouTube workflow. Confirm the provider supports the required ingest, output protocol, YouTube destination, monitoring, and recovery design before committing.
Loop of prerecorded episodes
A prerecorded channel plays files or a playlist continuously as a live stream. This is a different, simpler operating problem: the service must store and loop the videos and publish the stream to YouTube. YouTube’s encoder information names Gyre as a cloud tool for 24/7 streams of prerecorded videos, but the available description does not establish its current feature set, India availability, or pricing. Verify those details directly before choosing it.
Do not select a prerecorded-video loop service for a live hosted show: StreamNeo, for example, streams uploaded videos and does not go live from a camera.

Cloud options for a continuous YouTube podcast
These choices are not equivalent products. A hosted looping service, a managed cloud encoder, and a configurable cloud video pipeline solve different parts of the problem.
| Option | Best-supported role | What to check before choosing |
|---|---|---|
| 1. StreamNeo | Cloud looping of uploaded podcast episodes to YouTube. It keeps the channel running with your computer off, supports uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a first day free. | It is for prerecorded uploads, not a live camera or hosted show. Each slot includes one always-on stream, 10 GB storage per slot pooled across active slots, looping and playlists, automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream, and StreamNeo team support. The product is the same on every plan; only the billing length changes. |
| AWS Elemental MediaLive and AWS media services | A configurable managed cloud encoding and video pipeline. | Architecture, services used, region, runtime, output variants, distribution, recording, and viewer geography all affect the design and cost. Confirm the complete YouTube output workflow rather than assuming a single service handles every step. |
| Amazon IVS | Managed live video with separate input and viewer-output billing. | Input/channel type, output resolution, viewer-hours, and delivery billing region affect charges. Do not treat IVS as a turnkey YouTube restreaming service without verifying how the intended stream reaches YouTube. |
| Google Cloud Live Stream API | Managed cloud live encoding with usage-based channel and stream pricing. | Active channel time and input/output resolutions affect charges. Google documents a 24-hour session limit, so a continuous service needs restart planning and monitoring. |
| Gyre | YouTube’s encoder information describes it as a cloud option for 24/7 prerecorded-video streaming. | The available description does not establish current capabilities, terms, pricing, or India availability. Check that it fits the exact prerecorded workflow before relying on it. |
What to decide for a live-hosted show
Before selecting AWS or Google Cloud, document the contribution feed, desired video resolution, audio format, stream duration, backup path, archive requirements, and who will operate the system. Establish whether the cloud service can accept the host’s feed and publish to YouTube in the required format. AWS’s video services are a flexible pipeline rather than a single universal 24/7 podcast product; Google’s documented session limit adds an explicit restart task.
What to decide for a prerecorded loop
Check the maximum file size and storage, playlist behavior, supported formats and quality, recovery behavior, billing term, and whether the service can publish to YouTube from your region. For StreamNeo, a slot includes 10 GB storage, pooled across active slots, and supports videos uploaded as made up to 4K 60fps without re-encoding or quality tiers. See StreamNeo for product details.

Create or schedule the live event in YouTube Studio and obtain the server URL and stream key. Enter those values in the encoder or service that sends the feed to YouTube. Treat the key like a password: do not publish it, and replace it if exposed.
Use compatible encoder settings
YouTube recommends RTMPS, a secure extension to RTMP. Its encoder guidance lists H.264, H.265/HEVC, or AV1 for video and AAC or MP3 for audio. Use constant bitrate (CBR) and a 2-second keyframe interval, and choose a resolution and bitrate that match both the source and YouTube’s current recommendation for that format. Do not choose a high output setting just because the cloud provider offers it: the source, ingest connection, encoder, and YouTube output all need to sustain it.
For a hosted show, test the full path—including the host contribution feed—before announcing a continuous broadcast. For a prerecorded playlist, test a representative episode and confirm the transition between files has the expected audio, picture, and duration.

Allow network headroom and monitor health
YouTube recommends 20% upload-bandwidth headroom. That is a recommendation, not a performance guarantee. Connectivity disruption can interrupt a stream, so monitor stream health, audio and video, and whether the public YouTube watch page remains reachable. For a live production, test a backup encoder or failover path in advance; for any design, verify that recovery actually reconnects to the intended event rather than merely restarting an encoder.
Plan archives and rights separately from going live
Do not rely on YouTube to archive a continuous stream longer than 12 hours
YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived, while a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. If a complete archive matters, keep an independent recording. One possible approach is to end and restart sessions before the 12-hour threshold, but that creates a transition that must be deliberately managed and tested; a continuously available public channel and a complete archive are separate requirements.

Clear music and other material for the live feed and archive
You are responsible for having the rights needed for the content in both the live stream and any archived copy, including applicable music licensing rights, and for complying with relevant laws. Do not assume a subscription to a music service permits worldwide public performance or YouTube streaming. Confirm permissions for the actual tracks and territories in which the content will be available.
Estimate costs from the actual workload
AWS IVS
AWS IVS bills video input and viewer output separately. Input rates depend on channel type; output rates depend on resolution and the delivery billing region. An always-on input can incur cost even when few people are watching, while viewer-hours and viewer locations affect delivery charges. Check current regional rates with AWS’s pricing tools using the planned channel type, resolution, runtime, and audience.

AWS costs depend on which component services the architecture uses and the deployment region. A published deployment example for a particular US East event and viewer load is not an India estimate or a reliable 24/7 forecast. Build the estimate from the intended services, runtime, encoding outputs, distribution, storage, and recording needs.
Google Cloud Live Stream API
Google charges based on active channel time and input/output resolution. A channel may be billable while active even without input. The documented 24-hour session limit also means continuous operation needs a restart plan; include the operational work and any interruption risk in the comparison, not only the encoding charge.
StreamNeo for prerecorded uploads
For a prerecorded YouTube loop, StreamNeo uses one price per slot regardless of uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps. Every slot has the same features; choose only the billing duration that suits the run. The first day is free with no card, with one free day per account. UPI and cards are supported in India; card checkout is available worldwide. Five or more slots can be discussed with support.

-
YouTube does not receive the stream: Check that live streaming is enabled, the correct server URL and stream key are configured, and the event is the one currently scheduled or active. If the key may have been exposed, replace it and update the encoder.
-
The stream starts and then drops: Check contribution-network stability, available upload bandwidth, and the cloud service’s stream-health indicators. YouTube recommends 20% upload headroom. Test recovery or a backup encoder before relying on it in production.
-
The stream is unstable at the selected quality: Verify that source resolution and bitrate fit the network and encoder, use CBR and a 2-second keyframe interval, and test the output before the live event. Reduce the output setting if the entire path cannot sustain it.

A prerecorded playlist has gaps or incorrect transitions: Test the actual uploaded files and playlist order, check audio and video at each change, and verify the service is set to loop the intended list.
Or let it run in the cloud
For a prerecorded podcast feed, the StreamNeo workflow is three steps: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. StreamNeo loops the uploaded videos from the cloud, so nothing has to stay on at home. Your video streams as uploaded up to 4K 60fps at one price per slot; if YouTube drops the stream, StreamNeo automatically recovers. The first day is free with no card, one free day per account. Monthly is $9.99 per month. In India, UPI and cards work. StreamNeo is for uploaded video loops, not camera-based live hosting. Start the free day with StreamNeo.
