CG Structures: the closest ASA answer to Structures Plus
Many current guides call Structures Plus (S+) the essential ASA building mod. That description is misleading: there is no official ASA CurseForge listing titled “Structures Plus” in the available listings. CG Structures, made by Consortium Gaming, is described as a port of S+ from ARK: Survival Evolved and is the nearest direct substitute identified for Ascended.
What CG Structures is designed to do
- Pull system: move needed materials into crafting or building workflows without manually emptying every storage box.
- Omni and multi tools: provide broader building and management actions than the vanilla tool set.
- Expanded platforms: tree and cliff platforms support bases that do not fit naturally on ordinary foundations.
- Miscellaneous items and crafting stations: extend the utility side of a building overhaul rather than only adding decorative pieces.
The project is still presented as expanding, so do not assume that every feature from the Survival Evolved version of S+ exists in the ASA port. If a specific S+ machine or workflow is essential to your tribe, verify that item by name in the current listing.
Who should choose it
Choose CG Structures when you want one primary functional building mod and value storage, pulling and utility tools as much as new wall shapes. It is a stronger starting point than stacking several narrowly focused helpers, provided its current update and server requirements fit your setup.
Super Structures Ascended: ambitious, but check its current state
Super Structures Ascended is described as a comprehensive building and quality-of-life overhaul that is still in progress. Its planned release list includes “Release 8 – Core Building Structures” as the final listed item in the snippet reviewed. That signals a project with broad ambitions rather than a finished, frozen feature set.
The maintenance question

Arkitect Structures Remastered: for bases vanilla pieces cannot draw
Arkitect Structures Remastered is a cross-platform remake of an older Survival Evolved mod. Its appeal is geometric: it adds tools for shapes and spans that conventional square foundations make awkward.

Ketaros Advanced Building is aimed at the moment when a piece is almost where you want it, but vanilla snapping refuses to cooperate. Its listed changes revamp snapping and placement limits for several structures. That makes it a useful choice even for players who are otherwise happy with vanilla pieces.
A listing snippet showed approximately 164,500 downloads. That is a popularity signal, not proof that it works with every current map, platform or structure overhaul. Check the current supported version and test it alongside any mod that replaces foundations, ceilings or pillars.

Install it when you want cleaner alignment, more flexible positioning or fewer arbitrary placement limits without committing to a complete S+-style ecosystem. Combine and Divide Structures: solve piece-size mismatches
Combine and Divide Structures addresses a specific construction problem: a design may require a quarter-size piece in one location and a full-size piece elsewhere, but the base game does not let you convert between them. The listed conversion is straightforward:

Because it focuses on conversion rather than a complete building catalogue, this mod is easiest to evaluate as a helper. It can be valuable in large builds where a few mismatched sections would otherwise force a redesign. Confirm that the current version still supports the material tier you use before planning an entire structure around it.
Other functional and quality-of-life options
Automated Ark: AA Building Helper
AA Building Helper is for managing structures after they are placed. Its listed actions include remote pickup with the right mouse button, manual sorting with N, area grab with P, satchel deletion and structure renaming. These controls are useful during rebuilding, cleanup and storage-room organisation.
Because the mod adds direct actions to mouse and keyboard inputs, check for conflicts with your existing keybinds and confirm the current control scheme in the listing before relying on it during a raid or emergency repair.

QoL+ is a fork and migration of S+ that concentrates on quality-of-life tools such as the multi-tool. Its developer states that many S+ structures will not be migrated. It should therefore be treated as a focused utility project, not as a complete replacement for every S+ building piece.
B+ Structures
B+ Structures is a broader quality-of-life and automation suite covering storage, breeding, crafting and administrative control. It replaces vanilla structures, but it is not an S+ port. That distinction matters for tribes migrating from another mod: recipes, inventories and workflows may not map one-for-one.
Mystic Plus and Mutation Structures
Mystic Plus (M+) is a custom S+ conversion tailored to one community. Its listed additions include the Mutator and Nanny, with a Propagator planned, but it does not include everything from the original S+ project. Mutation Structures concentrates on creature-mutation structures such as the Mutator and follows the S+ lineage. Both are niche choices for players who need breeding-related functions more than a full architectural catalogue.

Modern Structure Skins: the cosmetic standout
Modern Structure Skins changes the appearance of structures rather than their underlying building rules. It is the clearest choice when your foundation layout already works and you want a contemporary visual style without replacing the entire construction system.
The listing identifies it as approved for official servers, a status not established for the other mods in this comparison. A CurseForge snippet showed about 13.5 million downloads. Since that number is snippet-level and not date-stamped, use it as context rather than a current ranking.
Cosmetic skins are also the lowest-risk way to refresh an established base: they avoid redesigning storage, crafting and breeding workflows. Still, confirm that the skin pack supports the structure tiers and map version you use.

Start with one mod that solves your largest problem, then add only narrowly scoped helpers. A practical decision framework is:

Avoid installing multiple full replacements at once unless their authors document compatibility. CG Structures, Super Structures Ascended, QoL+, B+ Structures and custom S+ conversions all affect overlapping parts of the building or utility experience. More mods do not automatically mean more options; they can mean duplicate engrams, conflicting structure classes and saves that are difficult to migrate.
Installation and migration checklist
The available summaries do not establish a universal client-side or server-side requirement for every mod. Treat each listing as authoritative for that project. Before adding anything to a live world:
- Identify the environment. Record whether you play single-player, host a non-dedicated session or run a dedicated server, and whether the server is official or community-operated.
- Read the current listing. Confirm the ASA version, map support, dependencies, install location and whether every player must have the mod enabled.
- Back up the save. Keep a dated copy of the world and, for a server, the configuration and player data before changing the mod list.
- Test on a copy. Spawn the structures you need, check inventories and recipes, and load an existing base before exposing the live save.
- Keep the order documented. Write down the exact mod names, versions and order used for the test. This makes rollback possible when a game update arrives.
- Communicate with the tribe. Every player should know which new engrams, tools and keybinds are being added, especially when a helper claims mouse buttons or letter keys.
Do not remove a functional building overhaul from a save that contains its structures unless the author provides a conversion or removal procedure. The game may leave missing pieces, inaccessible inventories or corrupted-looking foundations when a required mod is absent.
Troubleshooting common building-mod problems
Structures or engrams are missing
- Confirm the mod is enabled in the same environment where the character is playing.
- Check whether the item belongs to a planned or unreleased feature rather than the current build.
- Look for a dependency or a version-specific note in the live listing.
Pieces will not snap or place
- Move away from nearby foundations and test the piece on a clean platform.
- Temporarily disable overlapping placement or structure mods on a backup world.
- Check whether the project changes the relevant structure tier; a helper may support vanilla pieces but not a replacement set.
Inventories, crafting stations or tools behave differently
- Verify that you are using the mod’s own station and recipe, not a similarly named vanilla item.
- Check for keybind conflicts when a helper assigns actions to right-click, N or P.
- Test pulling, sorting and remote pickup with a small quantity before moving an entire storage room.
A save fails after an update
Restore the pre-update backup, compare the mod’s current compatibility notes and test the world without adding further projects. If the author has not published a current status, avoid repeated load-and-save attempts on the only copy of the world.
Mods to avoid or verify especially carefully
Dwarven Builders Mod is listed as discontinued and points users toward a replacement cosmetic project; do not select it as a current building foundation. Extra Structures Plus is also listed as discontinued. Their historical popularity does not make them safe choices for a 2026 server.
Be cautious with roundup articles that present a definitive “most installed” S+ ranking. Several such lists are published by game-server hosts, and their ordering may reflect the services they run rather than a neutral measurement. No verified figure establishes that Structures Plus is the most-installed ASA mod, and the absence of an official ASA listing under that title is itself important.
Recommended 2026 picks by player type
- New builder who wants one broad overhaul: begin by evaluating CG Structures.
- Experienced architect: choose Arkitect Structures Remastered for diagonals, behemoth walls and AntiGrav foundations.
- Vanilla purist with placement complaints: try Ketaros Advanced Building first.
- Large-scale builder using mixed piece sizes: add Combine and Divide Structures after confirming material support.
