Short answer: The Beelink SER5 with an AMD Ryzen 5 5500U, 16 GB RAM and a 480 GB NVMe SSD is a reasonable mini PC to shortlist for a simple YouTube Live promo loop—but the available evidence does not establish it as the best budget model or prove it can run continuously without issues. Check the exact listing, seller, delivered price, warranty and return terms, then test the complete setup with your actual promo and network before relying on it.
If your promo is prerecorded video rather than a live camera feed, compare the cost and maintenance of an always-on PC with a cloud streaming service. If you need camera capture, multiple scenes or animated overlays, assess that workload separately: the right setup depends on what you are encoding.

Is the Beelink SER5 a good choice for a 24/7 promo?
It is a candidate, not a verified 24/7 recommendation. A computer encoder is a supported way to stream to YouTube, and the listed SER5 configuration gives you a Ryzen 5 5500U, 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and a 480 GB NVMe SSD. But a model name and hardware specification do not establish how it behaves under a continuous encoding load. No verified long-duration test for this configuration or representative India-specific reliability data is available here.

A static prerecorded promo loop should generally be a simpler workload than multiple camera inputs, layered scenes and heavy animated graphics, but that distinction is not a test result for this machine. Before purchasing, match the listing to your workload and deployment conditions.

What to verify before buying
- Exact configuration: Confirm the CPU, RAM, SSD and ports on the product page match the SER5 configuration you intend to buy. A listing title alone may not identify the exact SKU.
- Total delivered cost and seller: The cited listing page names Amazon India and tracks price changes, but it is an aggregator snapshot, not a seller quote. Check the live price, seller, shipping, applicable tax and delivery terms.
- Warranty and returns: Confirm who handles support, what the warranty covers in India, and the return window before ordering.
- Real workload: Decide whether you are looping a finished video, streaming a camera feed or producing a scene with several video layers. Choose the target resolution and frame rate, then test with the actual assets and encoder settings.
- Continuous operation: Check temperature, fan noise, dropped frames and behavior after a restart in the actual installation. Neither a headline CPU specification nor a 4K display capability proves sustained encoding performance.
- Network and power: Test the wired connection at the chosen bitrate. For a local setup, consider how the PC, router and modem will behave during a power interruption; a UPS is a practical option, but size it for the actual equipment load and required runtime.
See the Beelink SER5 listing and price-history page, then confirm the live purchase details directly with the seller.

Local mini PC for a camera or custom scene
A mini PC makes sense when the promo depends on a live camera, capture hardware, custom overlays or scenes that you need to control locally. You will also need to keep the PC, encoder, network and power available. YouTube lists OBS as open-source computer streaming software, but that does not verify this particular mini PC’s performance with OBS or any other encoder.

Cloud service for a prerecorded loop
- StreamNeo — first option to consider for a prerecorded YouTube loop: it keeps uploaded videos running from the cloud, so your computer and home connection do not have to stay on; any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps is included at one flat price per slot, and the first day is free with no card. It is for uploaded videos, not camera-based live production. See StreamNeo and its pricing.
- Gyre: YouTube’s verified-encoder directory describes it as a cloud-based tool for 24/7 prerecorded YouTube videos that removes the need for a dedicated PC. The directory entry is not an independent reliability comparison; confirm current availability, limits and terms for your use.
- Keep the PC local: Choose this when the source is a live camera or the production needs local inputs and controls that a prerecorded-video service does not provide.
StreamNeo’s own 2026 comparison of PC, VPS and managed-service costs notes that transfer limits, VAT, IPv4, exchange rates and excess-transfer charges can affect cloud totals. Treat provider-authored cost comparisons as a starting point and check current terms against your own setup.
Set up YouTube Live and the encoder
YouTube defines an encoder as software or standalone hardware that converts video into a digital format for streaming. Its setup guide directs creators to enter the YouTube Live server URL and stream key in the encoder. For a first live stream, enabling access can take up to 24 hours, so do not schedule a first-time setup at the last minute.

Run 30+ browser tabs, large Excel sheets, and Zoom meetings simultaneously without system lag.
- 【8GB DDR4 RAM & 256GB NVMe SSD Storage】 Installed with high-speed 8GB DDR4 dual-channel memory and a fast 256GB M.2 2280 SSD, eliminating slow boot times and application loading delays. To accommodate growing data requirements, the upgradeable hardware design features dual SODIMM slots that allow you to expand memory up to 64GB RAM, ensuring smooth operation during heavy multitasking.
- 【High-Capacity Dual M.2 SSD Storage Expansion】 Never worry about running out of space for your business files. In addition to the pre-installed 256GB system drive, the motherboard houses an extra empty internal M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 3.0 slot. This allows you to easily add a second solid-state drive for up to an additional 2TB of storage capacity (upgrades not included) without needing to remove or reinstall the original operating system.
- 【Radeon 6-Core Graphics & Triple 4K Displays】 Integrated with official AMD Radeon Graphics (6 Graphics Cores, 1500 MHz frequency) for casual gaming, photo editing, and crisp 4K media decoding. Featuring 1x HDMI 2.0 port, 1x DisplayPort, and 1x Full-Function Type-C port, the E5 outputs true 4K@60Hz resolution to three monitors at once. This multi-screen setup eliminates constant window-switching for traders, programmers, and office workers.
- 【Dual 2.5GbE LAN Ports for Advanced Networking】 Experience fast wired network transmission speeds up to 2500Mbps without lagging or buffering. The integration of dual 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports (powered by Realtek RTL8125 controller) makes this compact computer an exceptional hardware choice for tech enthusiasts. Easily configure it into software routers, hardware firewalls (pfSense, OpnSense), home NAS servers, or local homelabs.
- Enable and prepare the YouTube live stream. Follow YouTube’s encoder setup guide. Allow up to 24 hours for first-time live-stream access to become available.
- Copy the server URL and stream key into the encoder. Treat the key like a password. Do not expose it in screenshots, promo assets or public documentation; if it is disclosed, replace or reset it in YouTube before continuing.
- Choose settings for your source and connection. YouTube’s encoder guidance reviewed on October 3, 2026 supports RTMP/RTMPS, H.264/H.265/AV1, up to 60 fps, constant bitrate (CBR), and a recommended two-second keyframe interval (no more than four seconds). YouTube recommends RTMPS.
- Test with the real promo. Check representative motion and audio, not just a static screen. YouTube’s recommended bitrates for the listed 1080p settings are:
| Output | H.264 recommended bitrate | AV1/H.265 recommended bitrate |
|---|---|---|
| 1080p30 | 10 Mbps | 10 Mbps |
| 1080p60 | 17 Mbps | 12 Mbps |
These are YouTube recommendations, not a guarantee that a particular internet plan can sustain the upload. Test actual upload stability at the intended setting rather than treating the encoder target as a safe ISP plan. YouTube advises creators: “Make sure to test before you start your live stream.” See its live encoder settings, bitrates and resolutions guidance.
- Monitor stream health and messages. Watch for dropped frames, interruptions and audio/video problems during the test, and repeat after changing the source, settings or network path.
Plan for 24/7 operation, not just a successful first stream
An hour-long test can confirm that a setup starts and performs under those conditions; it cannot establish round-the-clock reliability. Continuous operation depends on the whole chain: source and encoder, PC, network and power. Before using a local system for a retail promo, validate the exact configuration and intended environment over an extended run, including restart behavior and recovery after an interruption.

- Test the actual video, audio and motion in the promo rather than relying on a desktop or idle test.
- Observe temperatures, fan noise and dropped frames during the extended run.
- Check whether the encoder and PC resume streaming as expected after a restart, and decide who will respond if the stream stops.
- Consider backup power for the PC and network equipment if brief power loss is a concern; calculate capacity for the equipment and runtime you need.
Common problems and what to check
YouTube does not accept the stream
Check that live streaming is enabled for the channel, particularly if this is its first stream, and allow for YouTube’s stated first-time activation period of up to 24 hours. Confirm the server URL and stream key in the encoder, and replace a key if it may have been exposed.
The stream drops frames or becomes unstable
Compare the encoder bitrate with measured upload stability, not just the advertised internet-plan speed. Test the chosen resolution and frame rate with the real promo, use YouTube’s recommended CBR and keyframe settings, and monitor YouTube’s stream-health messages. Reduce output demands if the connection cannot sustain them reliably.

The PC runs but the stream stops
Check encoder status, the connection to YouTube and the source playlist or media file. A running PC alone does not prove the stream is active. Test what happens after a network interruption or restart before relying on unattended operation.
Unexpected noise, heat or restarts
These are reasons to stop treating the setup as validated. Check placement, airflow, workload and power, then repeat the extended test in the installation environment. The available product listing does not establish sustained temperature, acoustics or restart reliability.
Or let it run in the cloud
For a prerecorded promo loop, StreamNeo avoids leaving a PC and home connection running. Upload your video, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live; the cloud loops uploaded videos and automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream.
