Check the current Google Store or retailer listing for price and stock; the evidence does not establish a fixed live price here. The Pixel 9a’s US specifications list a 5,100 mAh typical battery and a 5G Sub-6 model. Google estimates 30+ hours under its usage conditions and up to 100 hours with Extreme Battery Saver; those are manufacturer estimates, not universal real-world guarantees. Google notes that Extreme Battery Saver disables features, including 5G. Its US launch price was $499 when availability began April 10, 2025, but that historical price does not establish the current price or stock of the Pixel 10a. Choose the Moto G Power 5G (2026) for battery/value framing
PhoneArena highlights the Moto G Power’s 1080p display, 8 GB of RAM, 30 W charging, and ruggedness ratings. Its LCD is less vivid beside Samsung’s AMOLED, and PhoneArena reports a two-year OS-update window, compared with Samsung’s stated six-year commitment for the A17. Compare the Galaxy A37 and A57 only if your budget stretches
Samsung announced US launch prices of $449.99 for the Galaxy A37 5G and $549.99 for the Galaxy A57 5G, with US availability beginning April 9, 2026. Samsung says both receive up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades and up to six years of security updates. Those launch prices are substantially above the A17’s listed starting price. TechRadar’s Tom Bedford judged the A57’s display, slim body, and clean software positively, while describing its cameras and processor as fine for everyday use rather than professional work. - Total price: Compare the checkout total, storage configuration, carrier or retailer offer, and whether a discount requires a plan. A manufacturer’s starting or launch price is not a guarantee of today’s transaction price.
- Screen: AMOLED generally offers more vivid-looking color than LCD, but compare the exact model in person if display quality is a priority. The cited review specifically finds the Moto G Power’s LCD less vivid than the Samsung AMOLED.
- Camera: Megapixel counts and lens counts do not establish image quality. For a camera-led choice, the cited 2026 guides identify the Pixel 10a; the available evidence does not provide a controlled, head-to-head camera test.
- Battery and charging: A capacity figure is not the same as observed endurance. Treat review battery impressions and manufacturer estimates as conditional, and consider charging speed alongside how long the phone lasts for your own routine.
- Storage: Check internal capacity and whether the exact model supports microSD expansion. Samsung lists the A17 with 128 GB and expansion on its US product-family page.
- Support: Read the promise for the exact model and region. “Up to” support commitments describe a maximum, not necessarily identical timing or terms for every device.
- Network fit: Confirm the precise model number, supported 5G bands, and carrier activation rules before ordering an unlocked phone.
Check carrier compatibility before buying unlocked
An unlocked phone can give you the choice of carrier or plan, but “unlocked” alone does not prove that every model variant works on every network. Google says an unlocked Pixel purchase lets buyers choose a carrier or plan; its Pixel 9a US specs identify a 5G Sub-6 model and supported bands. For any phone, verify the exact model number against your carrier’s supported-device and activation information, especially if you rely on 5G. - Set your real ceiling. Use the amount you are willing to pay at checkout, not a launch price or a temporary promotion.
