Outdated Drivers Are Slowing You Down

A free scan shows the junk files, broken settings and background clutter dragging Windows down - then fixes them in one click.Free scan · Windows 10 & 11Imageye is the best all-around extension for copying images from websites. Its Chrome listing says it discovers images on a page, filters them by pixel dimensions and URL, lets you preview and select files, copies an original-image URL, downloads in bulk, and converts WebP, JPG, and PNG files. Choose Fatkun instead when your priority is heavy batch work across several tabs. For one ordinary picture, the browser’s built-in Save image as command is still the quickest option.
This guide explains which tool fits each job, how to copy an original URL or download every exposed image, what Chrome, Firefox, and Edge support is currently documented, and how to avoid permission and licensing mistakes.
Quick comparison
| Tool | Best for | What the published listing documents | Browser notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Imageye | Most people, especially when original URLs, filtering, or format conversion matter | Finds webpage images; filters by pixel width, height, and URL; preview and selection; bulk download; image-size checks; original-URL copying; reverse-image search; WebP/JPG/PNG conversion | Chrome listing; Firefox Add-ons listing confirms page-wide discovery, browsing, downloading, and original-URL copying. The current Edge listing shown in search reports incompatibility with that browser version, so check Edge before installing. |
| Fatkun | Large batches, multiple tabs, and click-to-download workflows | One-click extraction; filtering by width, height, and file type; downloads from all open tabs; keyword search; right-click downloads; click-to-download mode; local processing | Official page presents Chrome and Edge versions. Store availability and permissions can change. |
| Save image as | One clearly visible image | Built into the browser; no extension required | Available in mainstream desktop browsers, but it does not provide a page-wide gallery or batch review. |
The user counts shown on the publishers’ pages are claims from those pages, not independent performance measurements: Imageye’s Chrome listing reports 2,000,000 users (2026), while Fatkun’s official download page reports 10,000,000 users (2026). No independent accuracy, speed, or reliability benchmark establishes that either extension finds every image or is universally faster.
Choose the right method first
Use the browser command for one obvious image
Right-click the picture and choose Save image as. This avoids granting an extension access to pages and is usually fastest when you already know which file you need.

Use Imageye for inspection and original links
Imageye is the practical default when a page contains many candidates, thumbnails mixed with larger files, or several image formats. Its filters let you narrow results before downloading, and its original-URL command is useful when you need to reference the source file rather than save a local copy.
Use Fatkun for repetitive batch jobs
Fatkun is aimed at extraction across many images and tabs. Its documented all-open-tabs download, keyword search, right-click downloads, and click-to-download mode reduce repeated selection when you are collecting a large set.
How to copy images with Imageye
1. Install and verify the current listing
- Open your browser’s extension store and search for Imageye.
- Read the current publisher, permissions, privacy information, and supported-browser notice before selecting Add.
- Pin the extension if you want its button visible while browsing.
Store pages and compatibility labels are volatile. Firefox’s current Add-ons listing confirms Imageye can find, browse, and download all images present on a webpage and copy an original image URL. The Edge listing shown in the available search reports that Imageye is incompatible with that browser version; do not assume a Chrome listing guarantees Edge support.
2. Open the page and let its images appear
Navigate to the page containing the images, wait for the content you intend to inspect to load, then open Imageye. The extension presents the images it can discover from the page. Because the published descriptions do not promise universal detection, treat the gallery as the set of images exposed to the extension, not as proof that every visual asset on a complex site was found.
3. Narrow the results
Use the pixel-width and pixel-height filters to remove tiny icons or keep only large source candidates. The URL filter can target a host, path, or filename pattern when a page mixes assets from several locations. Check the displayed dimensions and file information before selecting files.
4. Preview and select
Preview candidates, select only the images you need, and use the bulk-download control for the selected set. This review step prevents downloading every thumbnail when the page contains several renditions of the same picture.

5. Copy an original URL or convert the file
Use Imageye’s original-URL copy action when another application needs the source address. If you need a different local format, use its documented WebP, JPG, or PNG conversion. Conversion changes the downloaded representation; it does not establish ownership or grant permission to reuse the image.
6. Optional reverse-image search
The Chrome listing also documents reverse-image search. Use it to investigate where a picture appears, then verify the rights and attribution terms on the page you ultimately rely on.

How to use Fatkun for large batches
Install the appropriate version
Fatkun’s official download page presents Chrome and Edge versions. Confirm that the version, permissions, and privacy details still match your browser before installing; store listings can change.
Extract and filter
- Open the target page, or open all the tabs that contain images.
- Start Fatkun’s extraction view. Its published features describe one-click extraction and selection of webpage media.
- Filter by width, height, or file type to remove small previews and unrelated assets.
- Use keyword search when filenames or URLs contain a distinctive term.
- Select the files and start the download. Fatkun documents downloading from all open tabs for multi-page batches.
Use the workflow that matches the job
- Right-click downloads: useful when you are already inspecting a particular image.
- Click-to-download mode: useful when you want to mark images interactively as you browse.
- Local processing: the Chrome listing says processing can occur locally; still review the extension’s current privacy statement because permissions and implementation may change.
Fatkun is a workflow choice, not a guarantee that protected, unloaded, or otherwise unexposed assets will be recovered. The vendor and store pages describe capabilities, not an independent completeness test.
How to download all images from a webpage
- Check permission first. Download only material you are allowed to copy. Keep the page’s license, attribution, and usage restrictions with your files.
- Choose an extractor. Start with Imageye when you need dimension/URL filtering and original links; start with Fatkun when several tabs or repeated batch actions are central.
- Open the page fully enough to review. Compare the extension’s discovered set with what you can see on the page. Do not assume a gallery contains every background, dynamically inserted asset, or alternate-resolution file.
- Filter before selecting. Set minimum dimensions or a file-type rule, then remove duplicates and thumbnails in the preview.
- Download in a controlled batch. Select the final set, approve the browser’s download prompt if shown, and check the destination folder for naming collisions or blocked downloads.
- Record source information. Preserve original URLs, page URLs, author names, and license text when those details are available.
If the extension’s gallery is missing a picture, first verify that you are on the correct page and rerun the discovery after the page has finished rendering. If it still does not appear, the extension’s published feature list does not provide a guarantee that the asset can be extracted; use the site’s own download control or request permission instead of trying to defeat access controls.
How to copy the original image URL
- Open Imageye on the page and locate the candidate using its preview, dimensions, or URL filter.
- Choose the command to copy the original-image URL rather than copying the page address.
- Paste the result into a new tab or text editor to verify that it resolves to the intended asset and not a tiny thumbnail or a temporary redirect.
- Store the page URL and rights information alongside the copied address. A URL identifies a resource; it does not give you permission to republish it.
Firefox’s Imageye listing specifically confirms original-URL copying. Fatkun’s documented feature set emphasizes extraction and downloading, so use Imageye when URL copying is the deciding requirement.

Chrome, Firefox, and Edge support
| Browser | What is documented | Practical decision |
|---|---|---|
| Chrome | Imageye and Fatkun have Chrome Web Store listings. Imageye’s listing reports 2,000,000 users in 2026; Fatkun’s listing documents its filtering, multi-tab, keyword, right-click, click-mode, and local-processing features. | Either extension can fit; pick Imageye for URL/format work or Fatkun for batch workflows. |
| Firefox | Imageye’s Firefox Add-ons listing confirms finding, browsing, downloading, and copying original URLs for webpage images. | Use Imageye when those functions are available in the current Add-ons listing. |
| Edge | Fatkun’s official page presents an Edge version. The current Edge listing shown for Imageye reports incompatibility with that browser version. | Check the live store page immediately before installation; do not rely on Chrome compatibility assumptions. |
Permissions, privacy, and copyright checks
Review access before installing
An image extension may request access to pages you visit so it can inspect their media. Read the current store permission screen and privacy policy, and remove the extension when you no longer need it. A listing’s feature description is not a substitute for reviewing today’s permissions.
Do not confuse copying with permission
Downloading a file for personal reference, embedding a URL, and republishing an image are different uses. Check the page’s license, preserve required attribution, and ask the rights holder when the terms are unclear. Do not use an extension to bypass a paywall, login restriction, CAPTCHA, or other technical control.
Expect listings to change
User counts, browser compatibility, permissions, and feature labels are time-sensitive store or vendor claims. Recheck them at installation time rather than treating the figures above as permanent guarantees.
Troubleshooting
The extension finds only a few images
Review the page’s discovered gallery against the visible content, confirm the correct tab is active, and rerun discovery after the page has loaded. If an asset remains absent, it may not be exposed in a form the extension supports; there is no published evidence that either tool detects every image.

Imageye is unavailable in Edge
The current Edge listing shown in search reports incompatibility with that browser version. Recheck the listing for a compatible release, use a browser where the Imageye listing is available, or evaluate Fatkun’s Edge version.
Converted files look different
Imageye’s conversion changes WebP, JPG, or PNG representation. Keep the original download when fidelity or metadata matters, and use the converted copy only when the target application requires it.
Or skip the browser setup
If you need a rendered snapshot of a page rather than the original image files, ScreenshotNeo makes one GET request and returns a PNG, JPEG, WebP, or PDF. It is not an image extractor and does not copy an image’s original URL; it captures what the page renders. That distinction matters for archiving a visual state, creating a preview, or giving an AI workflow a screenshot.
Before capture, ScreenshotNeo can accept the cookie or consent banner like a visitor and remove more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets; each step can be turned off. Bot checks or CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits are not billed, and the response identifies the page verdict and billing result in X-Page-Verdict and X-Billed headers. Its MCP server exposes take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf to Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients.
Relevant controls include full-page capture with lazy images loaded, CSS-selector element capture, dark mode, 12 device presets or a custom viewport, retina scale, PDF paper size/margins/orientation/page ranges, custom CSS and JavaScript, click-before-capture, hidden selectors, waits for a selector/delay/network idle, ad/tracker/request/resource blocking, custom headers/cookies/user agent/Authorization, timezone and geolocation, transparent backgrounds, image resizing, chosen cache TTL, signed links for public <img> tags, asynchronous jobs with signed webhooks, bulk capture of up to 100 URLs per call, a usage API, and an OpenAPI specification. Parameter names used by other screenshot APIs also work, which can simplify a migration.
