If your phone is eligible, enable 90 FPS in Settings > Graphics & Audio > Smooth > 90 FPS, then set the phone itself to a high-refresh mode. For aiming, keep camera, ADS and gyro sensitivity separate: each controls a different input. The figures below are practical starting points, not an official universal preset or a promise of better recoil control.
What “best” means in BGMI
There is no single graphics or sensitivity profile that fits every BGMI player. A high frame-rate mode can make camera movement and touch response feel smoother, but only when the game offers that mode for your particular device and the phone can hold it during a match. A setting that appears briefly and then fluctuates is usually less useful than a lower option that remains steady.

Sensitivity is equally personal. Screen size, finger placement, HUD layout, grip, touch sampling, weapon choice and whether you use the gyroscope all change how a number feels. Treat published values as a starting map. Test one category at a time with the scopes and guns you actually use, then keep the values that let you track targets and control recoil without constant over-correction.

Use the in-game 90 FPS selector
- Open BGMI and tap the Settings gear.
- Open Graphics & Audio.
- Set the graphics style to Smooth.
- Look for the frame-rate choices and select 90 FPS if the selector is present.
BGMI Support states: “You can only enable 90 FPS if ‘90 FPS selection button’ is available under Graphic Settings.” The option is conditional on device support; changing another setting cannot guarantee that a missing selector will appear.

Set the phone’s refresh rate
BGMI also says the device display setting must be configured for 90 FPS to function. Menu names vary by model and software version, so use the current display settings on your phone. The official guide gives these examples:
- Samsung: enable the display’s Adaptive or Motion Smoothness mode.
- Some Xiaomi, OnePlus and iQOO models: choose a 120 Hz display option when available.
- Some Asus and Vivo models: select a refresh-rate setting above 90 Hz.
- Pixel Pro models: enable Smooth Display.
- iPhone and iPad: disable Limit Frame Rate where that control is provided.
These are examples, not a complete device whitelist. A high-refresh screen does not by itself prove that BGMI will expose the 90 FPS button. If both the in-game and device settings look correct but the game still does not apply 90 FPS, BGMI directs players to its in-game support.
Choosing a frame rate that stays smooth
Prefer consistency over the largest number
Choose the highest frame-rate option your own device exposes and can run steadily. The available sources do not establish a universal optimum or a controlled benchmark showing that one graphics-quality combination wins on every phone. Your practical test is whether movement, camera turns and close fights remain consistently responsive rather than whether a larger number appears in a menu.
What to check during a real match
- Play several minutes in a normal match, not only in the lobby or training island.
- Watch for stutter after the phone heats up, during crowded drops and in smoke or heavy effects.
- Compare touch response and tracking at the start and end of a session.
- If a higher option feels unstable, step down to the fastest option that remains even.
Lowering visual detail can be a reasonable way to prioritize frame-rate availability, but the reviewed guidance does not provide a measured graphics-versus-FPS trade-off. Do not assume that a particular style or setting will deliver a fixed improvement on every model.
Camera, ADS and gyro: three different controls
Camera sensitivity
Camera sensitivity controls how quickly your view moves when you look around or turn without firing. It affects free look and scope movement before the shot, so it is central to scanning, turning on a flank and following a moving opponent.

ADS sensitivity
ADS (aim-down-sight) sensitivity controls touch response while aiming through a sight. It governs how much the reticle moves when you swipe during a scoped or iron-sight engagement. A value that feels comfortable for hip-fire turns can still be too fast for a red-dot spray, which is why ADS values are set by scope.
Gyroscope sensitivity
Gyro sensitivity translates tilting the phone into in-game movement. It can supplement or replace finger swipes for fine corrections and recoil control. BGMI’s official gyro help confirms that gyro sensitivity can be adjusted independently while firing, but it does not publish a numeric preset. Use gyro only if that control method feels natural and you can hold the device consistently.

Non-gyro camera sensitivity starting points
The following figures come from the Gadgets 360 guide updated 24 January 2025. They are publisher suggestions, not an official KRAFTON configuration and not the result of a controlled population test.
| View or scope | Camera sensitivity |
|---|---|
| TPP no scope | 145% |
| FPP no scope | 130% |
| Red dot / holographic | 75% |
| 2x | 55% |
| 3x / Win94 | 40% |
| 4x / VSS | 30% |
| 6x | 10% |
| 8x | 11% |
These values are a sensible first pass for a player who does not use gyro. If a turn repeatedly overshoots the target, lower the relevant scope value; if the view trails behind, raise it in small increments.
Non-gyro ADS sensitivity starting points
| View or scope | ADS sensitivity |
|---|---|
| TPP no scope | 100% |
| FPP no scope | 90% |
| Red dot / holographic | 65% |
| 2x | 40% |
| 3x | 35% |
| 4x | 30% |
| 6x | 14% |
| 8x | 12% |
ADS sensitivity matters most when your finger is moving while the weapon is firing. Tune the scope you use most often first, then work through the others. Do not change all eight values at once, because you will not know which adjustment fixed or created a problem.

Always-on gyro sensitivity starting points
If you keep gyro enabled continuously, the same Gadgets 360 guide lists these examples:
| View or scope | Always-on gyro |
|---|---|
| TPP no scope | 220% |
| FPP no scope | 220% |
| Red dot / holographic | 180% |
| 2x | 150% |
| 3x | 120% |
| 4x | 90% |
| 6x | 50% |
| 8x | 25% |
These high percentages can feel extremely quick on a small movement. Start in training, make deliberate tilts and reduce a value immediately if the reticle jumps past the target.
ADS gyro ranges for scope control
The same guide gives ranges rather than one number for ADS gyro. It reports the ranges for both scope-on use and the corresponding ADS gyro controls:
| Scope group | Suggested ADS gyro range |
|---|---|
| No scope, red dot and 2x | 300–400% |
| 3x | 240–300% |
| 4x | 210–280% |
| 6x | 80–120% |
| 8x | 40–100% |
Because these ranges are broad and unusually high for some devices, they should be treated strictly as test bands. They do not guarantee easier recoil control. Pick a midpoint, test a sustained spray, and move up or down gradually according to the reticle’s behavior.
A repeatable method for tuning sensitivity
1. Record your baseline
Write down your current camera, ADS and gyro values or capture screenshots. This gives you a known fallback if an experiment makes aiming worse.

It introduces powerful new features such as gyro settings, stick curve adjustments, and button-to-mouse mapping, giving you deeper customization and more control than ever before.
2. Choose one task and one scope
For example, use a red-dot spray with the assault rifle you commonly carry, or track a moving target through a 3x. Keep the weapon, scope and distance the same while comparing settings.
3. Change one category only
Adjust either camera, ADS or gyro, and change only the scope being tested. A small step is easier to evaluate than a dramatic jump. Repeat the same tracking and recoil exercise after each change.
4. Diagnose the direction of the error
- Overshoot: the reticle passes the target or swings past the intended recoil path. Lower the relevant sensitivity.
- Lag: the reticle cannot catch a moving target or feels slow during a turn. Raise the relevant sensitivity gradually.
- Vertical drift while spraying: check ADS or ADS gyro for that scope rather than changing free-look camera sensitivity.
- Unwanted movement from tilting: lower gyro or switch to a mode that activates it only while aiming, if that better matches your control style.
5. Validate outside training
After a setting feels good in training, play several matches. Keep it if it remains controllable under pressure and with your usual grip. Revisit the values after changing phone, screen size, HUD layout, hand position or gyro mode; each can alter the apparent speed.
Gyro versus non-gyro: which approach fits?
| Approach | Strength | What to watch |
|---|---|---|
| Non-gyro | All aiming comes from familiar finger swipes; easier to keep the phone still. | Fine recoil corrections depend on thumb or finger travel and ADS tuning. |
| Always-on gyro | Small device movements can make fine corrections and recoil input faster. | Accidental wrist movement can shift the reticle; high values require controlled tilts. |
| Gyro while firing or aiming | Gyro is available for the moments when precision matters, while general navigation stays stable. | You must learn the activation behavior and set its firing sensitivity separately. |
There is no evidence here that gyro universally improves every player’s accuracy. Choose the method you can repeat comfortably for a full session, then tune the relevant controls instead of copying a pro-player layout.
Fixes when 90 FPS is missing or not working
The 90 FPS button does not appear
Confirm that the phone is a model supported by BGMI and that Smooth is selected under Graphics & Audio. The official requirement is that the “90 FPS selection button” appears; if it does not, the game has not exposed the option for that device or software combination. Do not rely on third-party unlock claims.

The selector appears but gameplay is not smooth
Check the phone’s refresh-rate mode using the manufacturer’s current display menu. Ensure a battery-saving or frame-rate-limiting mode has not overridden it. Test again after the device cools, and prefer the highest option that remains steady rather than forcing a mode the phone cannot sustain.
The game and phone settings look correct
If 90 FPS still does not apply after both checks, use BGMI’s in-game support route. The official guide does not promise that every high-refresh display receives the same option, and it is not a comprehensive current device whitelist.
Common mistakes that make aim feel worse
- Changing every slider together: you lose the ability to identify the cause of a problem.
- Using camera sensitivity to fix recoil: recoil during a shot is primarily an ADS or ADS gyro question.
- Copying a number without checking gyro mode: an always-on gyro value is not interchangeable with a non-gyro setup.
- Testing only in the lobby: heat, effects and crowded fights can change how stable frame-rate feels.
- Chasing a missing 90 FPS option: unsupported devices cannot be made eligible by a sensitivity change.
- Ignoring comfort: a setting that causes wrist strain or forces an awkward grip is not a practical improvement.
Quick setup checklist
- Open Settings > Graphics & Audio and select Smooth.
- Select 90 FPS only if BGMI displays that option for your device.
- Set the phone’s refresh rate according to its current manufacturer menu.
- Choose gyro, non-gyro or gyro-while-aiming before tuning numbers.
- Enter the camera and ADS starting values from the appropriate tables.
- Enter always-on gyro or ADS gyro values only if you use gyro.
- Test one scope and one weapon at a time.
- Lower sensitivity for overshoot, raise it for lag, and make small changes.
- Play real matches before keeping a new profile.
- Recheck settings after a phone, HUD, grip or gyro-mode change.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best frame rate for smooth BGMI gameplay?
Use the highest option your device supports and keeps stable. No reviewed source establishes one universal best frame rate for all phones.
Free tools Windows power users keep installed
One-click scans. No signup required.
Can I enable 90 FPS if BGMI does not show the option?
There is no supported guarantee. BGMI says 90 FPS is available only when its selection button appears under Graphics settings on a supported device.
Are the sensitivity percentages official BGMI settings?
No. The camera, ADS and gyro figures shown here are examples from Gadgets 360’s 24 January 2025 guide. KRAFTON’s official gyro help confirms independent adjustment but gives no numeric preset.
Should I use gyro?
Use it if tilting the device gives you repeatable control and feels comfortable. Otherwise, a carefully tuned non-gyro setup is valid.
Why does the same sensitivity feel different after I change phones?
Screen dimensions, touch behavior, grip, HUD placement and gyro response can change the distance your finger or device must move. Re-test after a device change instead of assuming the old values transfer perfectly.
Do higher sensitivity values automatically improve recoil control?
No. They can make corrections faster but can also cause overshoot. The correct value is the one that lets you keep the reticle on target during your own repeatable test.
