Which foldables are the closest alternatives?
The vivo X Fold6 is a book-style foldable announced for China on June 26, 2026, with sales stated to begin July 1. Its China-market specification page lists an 8.02-inch inner display, a 6.51-inch outer display, and a 200MP main camera alongside 50MP telephoto and ultrawide cameras. The Galaxy Z Fold7 and Pixel 10 Pro Fold offer similarly sized inner displays, making them the most direct documented alternatives—not necessarily universally available substitutes.

How to choose between them
Choose the Galaxy Z Fold7 if lower listed weight is a priority
Samsung lists the Fold7 at 215g, compared with vivo’s color-dependent 228g or 235g. It also has an 8.0-inch main display and 6.5-inch cover display, close in stated size to vivo’s 8.02-inch inner and 6.51-inch outer screens. These figures make Samsung a straightforward comparison for someone seeking a large-screen foldable with a lower listed weight. They do not prove it will feel more comfortable in hand; folded dimensions, balance, and personal grip matter too.
The rear camera specifications are 200MP wide, 12MP ultrawide, and 10MP telephoto. Vivo lists 200MP main, 50MP telephoto, and 50MP ultrawide hardware. That difference may matter if the breadth of camera coverage is important to you, but it does not establish which phone produces better images.

Choose the Pixel 10 Pro Fold if Google’s ecosystem fits your needs
Google’s US Store lists an 8-inch inner display, a 6.4-inch cover display, 9.1oz weight, Tensor G5, 16GB RAM, and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB storage. Its US starting price is US$1,799. Treat that as a US-market price, not a direct value comparison with vivo’s China prices.

Choose the vivo X Fold6 only after checking import practicality
Vivo’s published prices and launch details here are for China. Its listed configurations are 12GB/256GB at CNY 7,999, 12GB/512GB at CNY 8,999, 16GB/512GB at CNY 9,999, and 16GB/1TB at CNY 10,999. These prices should not be converted into a claim that it is cheaper than either rival: the markets, configurations, taxes, and purchase channels differ.
The X Fold6 runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6 Fold, according to vivo. The company also lists a Dimensity 9500 Super Edition processor, 12GB or 16GB RAM, and storage options up to 1TB. Its stated battery is a typical dual-cell capacity equivalent to 7,000mAh and a rated equivalent capacity of 6,760mAh; vivo specifies up to 80W wired and 40W wireless charging. These are manufacturer specifications, not independently measured battery life or charging performance. The package includes a 100W charger, although the phone’s maximum supported input is 80W.

Check availability and compatibility before buying
The available product information does not establish sales, warranty coverage, repair access, or network compatibility for an unspecified country. Before ordering any model—especially a China-market vivo—verify the exact regional model with the seller and your carrier.
- Confirm that the specific model is sold in your country through an authorized channel, and check who provides warranty service and repairs.
- Ask your carrier whether the exact model supports the bands and services needed where you use the phone.
- Compare the same storage tier at current local prices, including taxes, shipping, and any import costs.
- Check the software, Google services, language support, and apps you depend on for the exact regional version.
- Consider trying a foldable in person: inner-screen size is similar across these models, but outer-screen proportions and folded feel differ.
What the specifications can—and cannot—tell you
All three phones have inner displays around eight inches, but the cover displays are listed at 6.51 inches for vivo, 6.5 inches for Samsung, and 6.4 inches for Google. If you often type or use apps without opening the phone, compare the outer screens directly; diagonal measurements alone do not reveal their proportions or how usable they will feel.

Camera hardware, battery capacity, and charging rates are useful for narrowing a shortlist, not for declaring a winner. Vivo’s launch announcement also mentions a V3+ imaging chip and a ZEISS-branded extender accessory described as equivalent to 200mm. Those are vivo’s product claims; they do not substitute for independent image testing. The cited specifications also do not establish comparable software-support periods or real-world multitasking performance.
