The closest like-for-like alternative to the Motorola Razr Ultra 2026 is the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7. If you like the Razr but want to spend less, the 2025 Razr Ultra is the other obvious pick. If the real appeal is a bigger screen, look at the Motorola Razr Fold (2026). If you don’t need a hinge, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and Google Pixel 10 Pro are the conventional flagships to compare. The sections below explain which fits which buyer.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7: the direct rival
This is the one to cross-shop if the clamshell is non-negotiable. Android Central’s head-to-head puts the Flip 7 against the Razr Ultra 2026 on the things flip buyers care about: cover-screen size, inner display, camera, and hardware. The Flip 7 has a 6.9-inch foldable inner screen and a cover display that runs edge to edge. Its main camera is 50 MP.

The same comparison lists trade-offs in battery, charging and chipset against the Razr Ultra 2026. Its US launch price was below the Razr Ultra’s, but that was a launch figure. Check what each phone costs now, including trade-in and carrier deals, before deciding that it is the cheaper option.

Android Central says the 2025 model shares the 2026 model’s design, displays and processor. That makes it attractive if its street price is substantially lower. Two things to verify first: whether it is still in stock, and how much update support remains. Motorola’s three-year OS-upgrade policy means a 2025 phone has fewer upgrades left than a 2026 one. Android Central put it at two years as of its article. If you keep phones for a long time, that matters more than a modest saving.

Motorola Razr Fold (2026): when you want a tablet-like screen
The Razr Fold solves a different problem. Android Authority reports a 6.6-inch outer screen that opens to an 8.1-inch inner display. It adds stylus support and a periscope zoom camera, and suits multitasking and phone-plus-tablet use. It also costs more: the cited comparison was $1,899 for the Fold versus $1,500 for the Razr Ultra. Treat those as reported prices and confirm them locally, along with availability in your region.
Galaxy S26 Ultra and Pixel 10 Pro: skip the hinge
Android Authority recommends both as alternatives while acknowledging that neither gives you a foldable. A conventional flagship makes sense if you spend more time on photos, demanding apps or long-term updates than on a pocketable shape.

Battery: what the numbers do and don’t tell you
Tom’s Guide recorded 16 hours and 20 minutes for the Razr Ultra 2026 in its own battery-drain test. In the same benchmark table it lists the Razr Fold at 14:44, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 at 12:24, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 at 10:55 and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold at 12:16. These figures are comparable with each other only within that one protocol. They aren’t a promise of everyday runtime, and they don’t cover the non-folding alternatives listed above.
How to choose
- Cover-screen usefulness and form factor: choose between a clamshell (Flip 7, Razr Ultra) and a book-style fold (Razr Fold).
- Price and stock: older and rival models are often discounted, but you need a live price check.
- Cameras: the S26 Ultra and Pixel 10 Pro are the reported strengths. The Razr Fold offers a periscope lens.
- Battery and charging: the Flip 7 comparison notes trade-offs, and test results vary by publisher.
- Update support: the Pixel 10 Pro has the longer guarantee, and the 2025 Razr Ultra has fewer upgrades left.
- Inner-display size: only the Razr Fold is aimed at buyers who want tablet-like space.

The Bottom Line
For a flip, start with the Galaxy Z Flip 7, or the 2025 Razr Ultra if its price has dropped enough. For a bigger screen, choose the Razr Fold. For the best camera and software support without folding, choose the Galaxy S26 Ultra or Pixel 10 Pro.
