For a direct substitute, start with the Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 Flow. It has the same advertised 35,000 Pa peak suction as the Eufy Omni E35 and was judged to navigate better in one direct editorial comparison, although its app was considered less intuitive. The E35 remains a capable choice when five saved floor maps, a roller mop, and Eufy’s detangling-brush design fit your home. Measure your highest rug edge and threshold before buying either model; a robot’s suction number does not predict whether it will climb the transition or keep hair out of its brush.

Which E35 alternative should you choose?

The right choice depends more on your floor plan and maintenance tolerance than on a headline Pa rating. The Eufy Omni E35 is a premium robot vacuum and mop with a US list price of $1,299.99 when accessed in 2026. Eufy advertises 35,000 Pa peak suction, a HydroJet 2.0 self-cleaning roller mop, DuoSpiral detangle brushes, CornerRover edge coverage, AI See 3.0 obstacle avoidance, and a ThermoFresh hot-wash-and-dry dock. Those are manufacturer specifications and claims, not a controlled comparison with every alternative.

Roborock’s Qrevo Edge 2 Flow is the closest documented like-for-like option in the available evidence. Its official specification also lists 35,000 Pa, a SpiraFlow 2.0 pressurized self-cleaning roller mop, an anti-tangle system, and a 8.98 cm body. In Ideal Home’s direct comparison, the Roborock navigated better than the E35, while its app was less easy to use. That is one reviewer’s home testing, not a guarantee for every pet, rug pile, or furniture layout.

The Eufy Omni E25 is worth checking when its live price is substantially lower and you do not need the E35’s maximum cleaning specification. Ideal Home said it would personally prefer the E25 for an average household that does not require a deep clean every time. The Eufy Omni C28 and Dreame X50 Ultra Complete are additional models mentioned by T3, but the available information does not establish their current regional availability or enough rug-clearance, pet-hair, and multilevel-map specifications to make a responsible feature-based recommendation.

What the Eufy Omni E35 actually offers

Cleaning hardware and marketing specifications

Eufy’s US product page lists 35,000 Pa peak suction. “Peak” describes a maximum claimed motor output, not the airflow at the brush, pickup on a particular carpet, or a standardized score against another robot. The same page presents the HydroJet 2.0 self-cleaning roller mop, DuoSpiral detangle brushes, CornerRover corner coverage, AI See 3.0 obstacle avoidance, and a ThermoFresh dock that washes with heat and dries the mop. These features explain why the E35 is aimed at homes that want vacuuming and frequent wet cleaning in one appliance, but they do not remove the need to empty debris, inspect brushes, or clean sensors.

Maps for multiple floors

Eufy Support states: “The Omni E35 can store up to five floor maps and automatically recognize the floor it is cleaning.” The system also supports LiDAR mapping, room division, no-go zones, and zone cleaning. Map recognition means the robot can use the appropriate saved layout after you carry it to another floor; it does not mean the robot can climb stairs or move between levels without help.

Observed pickup and obstacle behavior

In Ideal Home’s home tests with sugar, cereal, and dog hair on hard floor and carpet, the E35 collected most debris in one pass. Some hairballs were picked up on a later pass. The reviewer found that it handled expected furniture and bowls better than unexpected obstacles, but obstacle handling remained inconsistent. Treat that as a useful warning about real rooms, not a laboratory score or a promise for every pet’s toys, cords, bowls, coat type, or carpet.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Threshold and rug limitation

TechRadar reports a maximum threshold clearance of 1.2 inches. A doorway lip, transition strip, or curled rug edge taller than that may stop the robot or cause repeated attempts. Measure the highest point of every transition, including the compressed edge of a thick rug, rather than relying on a product photograph. A robot that cannot cross into a room cannot clean that room regardless of its suction specification.

Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 Flow: the closest alternative

Why it matches the E35 on paper

Roborock’s official product page advertises 35,000 Pa motor power, a SpiraFlow 2.0 pressurized self-cleaning roller mop, an anti-tangle system, and a 8.98 cm-high body. The equal Pa figure makes it an obvious comparison, but the useful differences are the robot’s height, brush and roller design, navigation behavior, and the way its app fits your cleaning routine.

What the direct review found

Ideal Home compared the Qrevo Edge 2 Flow directly with the E35 and reported better navigation from the Roborock. The same comparison described Roborock’s app as less easy to use. Navigation results are especially relevant in pet homes where toys, feeding bowls, charging cables, and unexpected clutter appear between scheduled runs. Because this was a reviewer’s comparison rather than a controlled multi-home test, use it as a signal to inspect your own layout, not as a universal ranking.

Low profile versus clearance

The listed 8.98 cm body can help the Qrevo Edge 2 Flow reach under furniture that is too low for a taller robot. Body height and threshold-climbing ability are different measurements: a low robot can still fail at a tall transition. Confirm the model’s stated maximum climb, rug-pile limit, carpet detection, and mop-lift or carpet-protection behavior for your region before purchase. The available specifications do not establish those values here.

Who should choose it

  • Choose it first when navigating around furniture and household clutter is more important than having the Eufy interface.
  • Consider it for low-clearance furniture because the official body-height figure is 8.98 cm.
  • Do not assume its 35,000 Pa claim proves better pet-hair pickup; no independent cross-model statistic establishes that.
  • Check the dock footprint, consumable prices, service coverage, and current local price before treating it as a value winner.

Eufy Omni E25: a same-family option for lighter cleaning demands

The E25 is relevant when you like Eufy’s software and dock approach but do not need the E35’s top-end specification. T3 and Ideal Home both discuss it as an E35 comparison. Ideal Home said it would personally prefer the E25 for an average household that does not need a deep clean every time, based on that reviewer’s experience.

That opinion does not establish that the E25 is better for every household. Before choosing it, verify the exact model sold in your country and compare its live price, maximum threshold, rug-pile guidance, brush construction, carpet-protection method, map capacity, dock wash-and-dry functions, detergent requirements, and replacement-part availability with the E35. The available material does not provide those model-specific numbers, so a lower price alone is not evidence of equal performance.

Other names to investigate, not automatic recommendations

Eufy Omni C28

T3 lists the C28 among models readers might consider. The available information does not establish a current regional price, threshold rating, pet-hair brush design, carpet-mop behavior, or multilevel mapping capacity. Treat it as a shortlist lead only. Ask the seller or manufacturer for the exact specifications for your market and confirm that the listed model is not a differently equipped regional variant.

Dreame X50 Ultra Complete

T3 directs readers with larger homes toward the Dreame X50 Ultra Complete. That makes it worth investigating if your priority is coverage across a substantial floor plan, but the evidence here does not establish the current availability or the clearance, brush, mop, navigation, and map details needed for a pet-and-rug recommendation. Do not infer that “larger home” means it will cross your thresholds or avoid your pet’s toys.

How to evaluate a robot for pet hair and rugs

1. Measure transitions before comparing suction

  1. Measure the tallest doorway threshold, transition strip, and rug lip with a ruler. Include the edge where the rug curls or compresses under the robot’s wheels.
  2. Write down the maximum height in millimetres or inches and compare it with the manufacturer’s stated climb limit.
  3. Check whether the robot approaches the transition straight on. A diagonal approach can make a borderline lip harder to cross.
  4. Look for a manufacturer recommendation for rug-pile height. A robot may clear a hard threshold but bog down in a deep, loose pile.

For the E35, the 1.2-inch maximum reported by TechRadar is the relevant published figure. If your tallest transition is close to that limit, leave a margin for uneven flooring and the robot’s approach angle rather than assuming a successful crossing.

  • 【Engineered for Pet Owner】 The exclusive no-entanglement design negates the need for your dirty hands to clean up tangled dog or cat hair, unlike traditional roller brushes. Its dual rotating electric side brushes sweep and collect hidden pet hair more efficiently throughout the house, saving you the hassle.

2. Inspect the brush system and hair-removal routine

Pet hair performance depends on the main brush’s geometry, the side brush, airflow at the floor, repeated passes, and how easily you can remove wrapped hair. Eufy calls the E35’s system DuoSpiral detangle brushes; Roborock advertises an anti-tangle system. Those names describe design intentions, not independently measured hair-wrap rates.

  • Ask whether the main brush can be removed without tools.
  • Check where long hair accumulates: brush ends, axle bearings, side-brush hub, or intake.
  • Confirm that a cleaning tool is included and that replacement brushes are sold in your region.
  • Plan a weekly inspection in homes with long-haired pets, even when the manufacturer advertises detangling.
  • Use a second pass or a scheduled high-frequency run where hairballs collect; Ideal Home observed some E35 hairballs being collected on a later pass.

3. Confirm carpet protection before enabling mopping

A self-cleaning roller mop is useful for continuous wet cleaning, but rugs require a separate check. Confirm all of the following for the exact model and firmware:

  • Whether carpet is detected automatically.
  • How high the mop lifts, or whether a physical shield keeps a wet roller away from carpet.
  • Whether you can set no-mop zones or mark rugs on the map.
  • Whether the robot vacuums carpet first and returns to the dock before wet cleaning.
  • How the dock washes and dries the roller and whether detergent is required.

Do not treat a phrase such as “self-cleaning mop” as proof that a high-pile rug will remain dry. Carpet behavior is a model-specific setting and can change with software updates.

4. Test navigation assumptions against your pets’ habits

Obstacle avoidance is not the same as complete pet-proofing. The E35’s AI See 3.0 feature is a manufacturer claim; Ideal Home still found inconsistent handling of unexpected obstacles. Pick up string toys, charging cords, thin socks, and soft waste before scheduled runs. Keep bowls in a predictable location and create a no-go zone around litter, water, or feeding areas if the map software supports it.

Using a robot on multiple floors

What map storage does—and does not—do

The E35 can store up to five floor maps and automatically recognize the floor it is cleaning, according to Eufy Support. This is enough map capacity for many two- or three-level homes and leaves spare slots for an additional area, but it does not provide stair climbing. You must carry the robot and usually the dock or arrange a charging location on the floor being cleaned, depending on the manufacturer’s workflow.

A reliable multilevel routine

  1. Run the robot’s initial LiDAR mapping cycle with doors open and temporary clutter removed.
  2. Let it finish and save the map before adding room divisions, no-go zones, or no-mop zones.
  3. Label each floor clearly so you can select the correct map later.
  4. When moving the robot, place it on a known area of the destination floor and start the floor-specific cleaning task.
  5. Check that the app recognizes the saved map before pressing start. If it offers to create a new map, cancel and reposition the robot rather than overwriting a good map.
  6. Carry the robot back to a charger or dock after cleaning; no model discussed here travels between floors on its own.

Placement and dock constraints

Roller-mop systems need a dock with water, wastewater, debris, and drying space. Measure the dock’s width, depth, height clearance, and front approach area before deciding to keep a separate dock on each floor. If you carry one dock, account for the time needed to move it, fill clean water, empty wastewater, and allow the robot to locate its base again. Dock footprint and maintenance can matter more than a small difference in suction for a multilevel home.

Ownership, maintenance, and recurring costs

Dock work is reduced, not eliminated

Hot washing and drying can reduce manual mop cleaning, but you still need to refill clean water, empty wastewater, clear the debris bag or bin, wipe sensors, and inspect the washboard and roller. A wet dock left dirty can develop odour or residue. Follow the model’s detergent guidance; do not substitute household cleaner unless the manufacturer explicitly allows it.

Consumables to price before buying

  • Main roller and side brushes, including how often the manufacturer recommends replacement.
  • Filters and debris bags, if the dock uses a bagged system.
  • Mop rollers or pads and any approved detergent.
  • Battery or wheel service outside the warranty period.
  • Shipping and service terms in your country.

Prices and availability vary by country, retailer, promotion, and date. The E35’s $1,299.99 US figure is a list price shown by Eufy when accessed in 2026, not a guaranteed checkout price. TechRadar reported a $1,299.99 US and £999 launch/list price in its 2026 review; those launch figures should not be read as today’s regional street prices. Recheck the current price and included accessories at the retailer you will actually use.

Decision guide by home type

Pets, low rugs, and mostly open rooms

Start with the E35 and Qrevo Edge 2 Flow. Compare the live prices, app preference, dock size, and brush-removal design. The E35 has documented five-map storage and a roller-mop dock; the Roborock has the lower listed body height and the better navigation result in Ideal Home’s direct comparison.

Thick rugs or tall thresholds

Do not buy either model until you verify the measured transition against the exact model’s climb specification. The E35’s published 1.2-inch figure is a hard screening limit, not a promise that every 1.2-inch edge will be crossed. If the edge exceeds the limit, a different robot with a verified higher climb rating—or a small physical ramp—may be necessary.

Long-haired pets and frequent shedding

Give brush access and maintenance priority over Pa. Compare the E35’s DuoSpiral detangle claim with the Qrevo Edge 2 Flow’s anti-tangle claim, then check replacement-part pricing and your willingness to inspect the brush. Schedule more frequent vacuum runs and keep toys and cords off the floor.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Several floors with a dock on one level

The E35’s five-map capacity is a documented advantage if your home fits within that limit. Plan for manual carrying and decide whether you will move the dock or accept that the robot may need to be returned to a charger after each floor. Confirm that any alternative stores enough maps for your actual number of levels before purchase.

Average household seeking a lower entry price

Investigate the E25 only after comparing current prices and exact feature lists. Ideal Home’s reviewer preferred it for an average household that did not need a deep clean every time, but the available evidence does not establish equivalent threshold clearance, pet-hair handling, or map capacity.

Troubleshooting common failures

The robot will not cross a doorway

  • Measure the transition again at its highest point, including a curled rug edge.
  • Remove a loose transition strip or flatten the rug edge if safe.
  • Approach the threshold straight on and check for a wheel caught on a cable.
  • Verify that the threshold does not exceed the model’s published limit; for the E35, TechRadar’s reported maximum is 1.2 inches.
  • Create separate room or floor cleaning zones if the transition cannot be changed.

Hair remains on the rug

  • Inspect and clean the main brush, end caps, side brush, filter, and intake.
  • Run a second pass or increase cleaning frequency in the shedding area.
  • Check that the rug is not too high or loose for the robot’s brush and wheels.
  • Do not infer a defect from one pass when the reviewer’s E35 test also found some hairballs on a later pass.

The mop wets a rug

  • Confirm carpet detection is enabled and the rug is correctly identified on the map.
  • Add a no-mop zone around the rug if the app supports it.
  • Check that the roller lifts or the carpet shield is operating.
  • Dry the rug and dock, then contact the manufacturer if the behavior continues under the documented settings.

The app shows the wrong floor

  • Stop the run before saving over a correct map.
  • Return the robot to a recognizable area of the intended floor and reopen the floor map.
  • Use clear floor labels and avoid moving the robot while it is localizing.
  • Remember that automatic floor recognition does not eliminate the need to carry the robot upstairs or downstairs.

Bottom line

Choose the Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 Flow as the first E35 alternative to investigate if navigation and a low-profile body matter most, while accepting the less intuitive app reported by Ideal Home. Choose the E35 when its five-map support, HydroJet roller mop, Eufy software, and dock workflow fit your home and your measured thresholds stay within the published limit. Consider the E25 only after checking live regional pricing and model-specific specifications. Treat the C28 and Dreame X50 Ultra Complete as leads for further verification, not proven winners for pet hair, rugs, or multiple floors.
