If your fireplace stream uses prerecorded footage, a cloud service is the clearest way to keep it running without leaving a computer on. StreamNeo is the first option to consider: upload your video, add your YouTube stream key, and go live; it loops from the cloud, supports uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a free first day. If you want to show a real fireplace through a live camera, look instead at a camera-integrated app or a hardware encoder. Those are different workflows, and not every OBS alternative handles both.
Choose by what the stream shows
| What you want to stream | Best-fit category | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Recorded fireplace footage replayed continuously | 1. StreamNeo; 2. Gyre | Both are cloud-based options for prerecorded YouTube streams. StreamNeo runs uploaded videos in a 24/7 loop; YouTube’s verified-encoder directory describes Gyre as a cloud tool for 24/7 prerecorded streams. |
| A live camera pointed at a real fireplace | CamStreamer for a compatible Axis camera, or a standalone hardware encoder | CamStreamer is listed as an in-camera application for Axis Communications cameras. YouTube also identifies hardware encoders as an option for live input. |
| A hosted or produced broadcast | StreamYard | A browser studio with guest, chat, and branding features; it is not established as the simplest unattended prerecorded loop. |
| A professionally engineered broadcast workflow | AWS Elemental MediaLive | YouTube lists it as broadcast-grade live video processing. The available information does not establish it as simple or tailored to a single fireplace channel. |
YouTube describes encoder streaming as a way to send video converted into a digital format, including productions that use external audio/video hardware. Its verified-encoder directory names the services above, but YouTube cautions: “None of these products are made by YouTube.” Check the provider’s current compatibility, terms, and pricing before committing.

1. StreamNeo: a cloud loop for prerecorded fireplace footage
For a video or playlist you have already recorded, StreamNeo is the first option to try if you want the stream to continue without a dedicated computer at home. Upload the footage, add your YouTube stream key, and start the stream. StreamNeo loops the uploaded video or playlist from the cloud and can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. It streams to YouTube only; it does not broadcast a live camera feed.

2. Gyre: another cloud option for prerecorded loops
YouTube’s verified-encoder listing describes Gyre as a cloud-based tool for 24/7 YouTube streams of prerecorded videos. The listing says it can run without a dedicated PC and mentions a built-in converter for YouTube Live standards. Those are product claims in YouTube’s directory, not independent reliability results. Current pricing, plan caps, and specific archive behavior are not established here, so confirm them with Gyre before choosing it.

3. CamStreamer or a hardware encoder for a live fireplace camera
CamStreamer with an Axis camera
YouTube lists CamStreamer as an in-camera application designed for Axis Communications cameras and describes continuous and scheduled streaming. This is relevant when the source is a live camera feed, not evidence that CamStreamer can replay a prerecorded fireplace playlist.

Standalone hardware encoder
YouTube’s encoder guide identifies standalone hardware encoders as an option for sending live video, particularly when external video hardware is part of the setup. Check the encoder’s current YouTube compatibility, supported input format, and whether it can meet your unattended-stream needs. Do not assume a generic hardware encoder will loop prerecorded footage on its own.

4. StreamYard for a produced or hosted broadcast
YouTube lists StreamYard as a browser-based studio with guest, chat, and branding features. StreamYard’s help documentation says paid plans do not limit YouTube stream duration, but its recording retains only the most recent 12 hours. That provider-specific recording limit is not a general YouTube rule, and a recording limit does not show how long another service can archive a stream. StreamYard can suit a hosted production; the available documentation does not make it the strongest fit for a simple unattended loop.
5. AWS Elemental MediaLive for an engineered workflow
YouTube describes AWS Elemental MediaLive as a broadcast-grade live video processing service. It may fit a professionally engineered setup with broader production requirements, but the available information does not establish that it is inexpensive, simple to configure, or designed for one creator’s continuous fireplace channel. Compare its current service requirements and costs directly with AWS before building around it.

Duration, archives, and restart planning
Do not treat “24/7” as a promise that every service will preserve one complete 24-hour recording. Restream’s YouTube help page, dated 2026, says YouTube archives streams under 12 hours; this is Restream’s description of YouTube behavior, not a statement from YouTube’s own help page. Restream separately warns that its server may restart for maintenance when a stream runs continuously for more than 24 hours and recommends restarting daily. StreamYard separately says its recording retains only the last 12 hours of a YouTube stream. These statements concern different services and recording behavior; verify the current rules for the platform you choose.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsKeep the stream eligible for YouTube monetization
Streaming continuously does not guarantee monetization. YouTube says monetization policies apply to live streams and that “Your content should be original and ‘authentic.’” Repetitive or mass-produced work may be ineligible; reused content without significant original commentary, substantive modification, or added value may also be disallowed. YouTube evaluates a channel as a whole, including its main theme, viewed and newest videos, watch-time share, metadata, and About section.
