AIVA and SOUNDRAW are useful for other music-making jobs, but their reviewed product pages do not establish the same lyrics-to-vocal-song workflow.
That distinction matters: lyric input, generated vocals, and a complete arrangement are separate capabilities. Check that a service supports all three before choosing it, and check the plan terms before using a generated track commercially.

Which AI song maker should you choose?
For a song built around lyrics you supply, start with Suno. Its Help Center explicitly describes entering original lyrics in Custom mode. The official Suno guide to using your own lyrics also says users retain rights to original lyrics they input; that statement is about your lyrics, not a blanket claim about ownership of every generated song.

The evidence here supports a focused comparison, not a definitive ranking of every AI music service or a judgment about which sounds best. The official pages reviewed establish different use cases:

What to check before generating a song
Custom lyrics and vocals
Look for an explicit way to paste or enter your lyrics, not just a prompt box for describing a genre or mood. Then verify that the service generates vocals rather than only an instrumental backing track. Suno documents custom lyric entry; the reviewed AIVA and SOUNDRAW pages do not document that combined workflow.
Revision and export
Decide how much control you need after the first generation. Suno lists editing features such as MIDI, effects, automation, advanced editing, and stem extraction for eligible plans. Its Help Center index also identifies v6 models and entries updated September 9, 2026; treat these as features Suno describes, not independent evidence of output quality. AIVA lists editing and audio or MIDI downloads. SOUNDRAW emphasizes adjustments to instrumental tracks.

Before paying, confirm the current plan’s download allowance, output formats, and any duration or generation limits. A monthly price alone does not tell you how many usable exports you can make.
Suno plans, credits, and commercial use
Suno’s pricing page currently lists the following monthly figures and entitlements. Prices and plan features can change; check the official pricing page before subscribing. Suno says annual billing offers savings and that taxes are calculated at checkout.

Suno’s Help Center says songs made on the free plan are noncommercial by default. Upgrading to Pro or Premier does not ordinarily grant commercial-use permission retroactively for free-plan songs, although Suno says it may offer that for specific songs in certain cases. See its commercial-use guidance and check the terms that apply to the track you intend to use.
AIVA and SOUNDRAW: useful for different jobs
AIVA for composition and editing
AIVA says it generates music in more than 250 styles and supports audio or MIDI influence, editing, and downloads. Its individual plans have different use and rights terms. The product page lists a free tier for noncommercial use with attribution; Standard for limited monetization on specified social platforms; and Pro, which AIVA says gives users copyright ownership and full monetization. At the displayed annual-billing rates, Standard is €11 per month and Pro is €33 per month, plus VAT. Check AIVA’s official product page for current prices and conditions.

AIVA says of Pro: “Want to monetize music generated with AIVA? Subscribe to our Pro Plan to own the full copyright of your compositions, forever.” That is AIVA’s description of its plan, not a general legal conclusion. The reviewed product page does not establish that AIVA accepts supplied lyrics and generates a vocal song, so consider it for composition rather than as a verified direct alternative to Suno for this specific job.

SOUNDRAW describes a tool for generating and customizing beats and background scores, with controls for instruments, intensity, and length. The company says its AI is trained on music created in-house and that generated tracks carry a commercial-use license. Those are SOUNDRAW’s claims; review its official service page and applicable terms rather than treating them as independent legal guarantees. The reviewed page does not establish custom lyric input or vocal-song generation.

Can you use the song commercially?
Check the precise plan and the track’s creation date before publishing, monetizing, or licensing a generated song. Providers describe different rights by plan, and an upgrade may not change the terms attached to an earlier creation. Suno’s free-plan restrictions and AIVA’s distinct free, Standard, and Pro terms are examples of why “AI-generated” or “royalty-free” is not enough information by itself.
