For a 5G phone under ₹15,000 in India, start by checking the exact RAM and storage variant and its current checkout price. Then choose the trade-off that matters most to you—display, performance, battery capacity, software support, camera evidence or durability. A comparison list updated on 7 October 2026 names four candidates below the limit, but it is a dated shortlist, not a hands-on ranking or a guarantee of today’s price.

| Phone | Listed price and variant | Selected specifications on the list | What to investigate |
|---|---|---|---|
| iQOO Z10x | ₹13,267; 6GB RAM, 128GB storage | 6.72-inch display, MediaTek Dimensity 7300, 6,500mAh battery | Check display details, charging support and independent battery testing; capacity alone does not establish runtime. |
| Samsung Galaxy A16 5G | ₹12,796; variant not stated on the cited list | 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 6300, 5,000mAh battery | Confirm the exact India variant and official update terms. The comparison page reports a six-year OS and security update promise, which should be checked against Samsung’s applicable India support language. |
| Infinix Note 50X 5G | ₹11,499; 8GB RAM, 128GB storage | MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate, 5,500mAh battery | Compare display, charging and review evidence for your workload; the listing does not establish comparative performance or endurance. |
| Realme P3x 5G | ₹11,749; 6GB RAM, 128GB storage | MediaTek Dimensity 6400, 6,000mAh battery | Check the exact display, charging and support details, then compare real-world review results rather than relying on capacity alone. |

1. Confirm the usable price and exact variant
Check the seller, stock, delivery, RAM/storage configuration and final checkout amount. A comparison-page price may differ from the current retailer offer. Include any required charger in your budget rather than assuming it is included.

2. Compare display properties separately
Look at panel type, resolution, size and refresh rate; check brightness information where it is reliably available. A larger screen or a higher refresh rate does not automatically mean a sharper or brighter picture. Smartprix’s comparison page surfaces display type and size alongside other relevant specifications. View its comparison factors.
3. Match the chipset and memory to your workload
For messaging, browsing and video, you may accept a different performance balance than you would for demanding games or heavy multitasking. Compare the exact chipset and RAM/storage variant, and seek comparable tests if gaming performance is decisive. The shortlist’s specification listings are not benchmark results.

4. Treat battery capacity as a clue, not a runtime score
Capacity can help narrow options, but it does not tell you which phone lasts longest in everyday use. Compare charging support too, and look for an individual review with a standardized endurance test if battery life is a priority. A separate Gadgets 360 feature dated 4 July 2026 discusses the Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G and Lava Bold N2 5G: it lists the F70e’s 6,000mAh battery and ₹13,999 price for the 4GB/128GB version, and the Lava’s 6,000mAh battery, 4GB/64GB configuration and ₹12,999 price. Those are dated listing details, not a current price check or a comparative runtime result. Read the battery-focused comparison.

Check the manufacturer’s India product or support information for the update period, warranty, IP rating and repair terms. Do not assume that models from the same brand—or phones with the same Android version—have identical support. Official support terms for every phone in this shortlist are not established by the category listings.

6. Judge cameras from sample-based reviews
Compare camera hardware, but use daylight, indoor and low-light samples to assess image quality. Megapixel count alone cannot rank cameras. No controlled camera comparison covering all the listed phones is established here.
