How to choose between 12V DC and AC power
Choose native DC when it suits your RV circuit
The Jensen JTV3217DC is listed as a 12V DC television. SYLVOX specifies a wider DC input range of 9–36V. Check the exact model label and manual against the RV’s electrical system before connecting a set; “12V” in a product name is not a substitute for confirming the supported input and wiring.
AC support can make an inverter or shore-power setup an option
The SYLVOX listing also specifies AC 100–240V input, so it can be considered where suitable shore power or an inverter is available. AC compatibility alone does not determine how much energy a setup will draw from the RV battery: account for the TV’s consumption, inverter losses, and the usable battery capacity. The listing’s 32W figure is a manufacturer specification, not a promised battery runtime.

Check the mount and opening before ordering
A 32-inch screen size does not guarantee that a television will fit an existing RV installation. Both the JTV3217DC and SYLVOX Vehicle Series list a 100 × 100 mm VESA pattern, but a matching hole pattern is only one part of compatibility.

The JTV3217DC’s listed resolution is 1366 × 768, while SYLVOX lists its Vehicle Series model as 1080p. Those specifications are not equivalent, but resolution by itself does not establish perceived picture quality.

The Jensen’s integrated ATSC tuner and listed HDMI, USB, composite, and component inputs may matter if you use an antenna or connect other equipment. SYLVOX lists Google TV, Chromecast, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, which may suit a streaming-focused setup.
