The BenQ ZOWIE XQ2566X pairs a 24.1-inch, 2560 × 1440 Fast TN panel with a manufacturer-listed 360Hz refresh rate for PC gaming. Its headline specifications and ports are clear; independently measured motion clarity, response time, input lag, and image quality are not established by the available evidence. That makes this a useful spec-based buying assessment, not a performance verdict.
BenQ ZOWIE XQ2566X specifications

What 360Hz at 1440p means for a PC
ZOWIE lists 2560 × 1440 at up to 360Hz over either HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort 1.4. To use that ceiling, the computer, graphics output, cable, and game settings must all support the mode. A monitor’s maximum refresh rate does not mean a game will render 360 frames per second; actual frame rate depends on the PC and workload.

The combination of 1440p resolution and a high refresh-rate ceiling may suit players who want a relatively compact screen with more resolution than 1080p. But the number alone cannot establish how clear motion looks, how quickly pixels transition, or how much input lag the display adds. No independent measurements for those outcomes are established here, so 360Hz should be treated as a listed capability—not proof of a competitive advantage.
What ZOWIE’s gaming features claim to do
DyAc 3 and the color filter
ZOWIE describes DyAc 3 as motion-clarity technology and promotes a color filter intended to reduce play-zone color interference and help separate targets. These are the manufacturer’s stated purposes; they are not independently verified performance findings here. A buyer should not assume that the feature names guarantee a particular result in a game.

ZOWIE Sync and G Sensor
The product page describes ZOWIE Sync as a way to apply shared or pro configurations. It says the G Sensor provides an angle reference for positioning. These features may be relevant to players who want configurable settings or help aligning the monitor, but the page does not establish an independently measured improvement in gameplay.

Console compatibility: 120Hz, not 360Hz
ZOWIE lists 2560 × 1440 at 120Hz for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S through HDMI 2.1. The advertised 360Hz maximum is the PC mode, not the listed console mode. Console buyers should therefore assess the monitor as a 1440p/120Hz display, and confirm that their console and game support the desired resolution and refresh rate.

ZOWIE announced the 24.1-inch XQ2566X alongside the 27-inch XQ2766X. The announcement gave European recommended retail prices of €949 and €1,199, respectively, at launch. Those figures are dated guidance rather than a current-price comparison, and the models’ actual performance cannot be ranked from specifications alone. ZOWIE’s July 2, 2026 XQ series announcement positions the lineup for Battle Royale play and larger maps.

The available product specifications and feature descriptions do not establish independent measurements of response time, input lag, motion handling, color accuracy, contrast, or viewing angles. Nor do they demonstrate how the monitor performs in real games. Without those results, it would be misleading to call the XQ2566X fast in practice, judge its image quality, or issue an overall performance rating.

ZOWIE’s launch announcement says, “The XQ series brings Vivid Color Film into its QHD models, maintaining consistent color performance across the lineup.” That is manufacturer language, not an independent color test. Likewise, the announcement’s statement that 70% of professional players use ZOWIE products is attributed to the company and is not accompanied by a sample or methodology; it does not establish this monitor’s performance.
Who should consider the XQ2566X?
- PC players: Consider it if you specifically want a 24.1-inch 1440p Fast TN display with a listed 360Hz PC mode, and your system can use that resolution and refresh rate.
- Console players: Base expectations on the listed 1440p/120Hz console mode, not the PC’s 360Hz maximum.
- Buyers prioritizing verified performance: Wait for substantive independent measurements of motion, latency, and image quality before deciding whether its performance justifies the price.
- Buyers comparing models: Check current local pricing and stock, then compare tested motion handling, latency, color, contrast, and viewing angles—not refresh-rate labels alone.
