Die BenQ ScreenBar Max ist laut Hersteller für Schreibtische mit zwei Monitoren gedacht. Solche Angaben beschreiben Ausstattung und Herstellerwerte; sie belegen für sich genommen weder eine bestimmte Ausleuchtung in einem konkreten Raum noch einen gesundheitlichen Effekt.

Klemme für passende Tischplatten
Die Klemme ist laut BenQ für Tischplatten bis maximal 6 cm Dicke vorgesehen. Vor dem Kauf sollten nicht nur die Tischplattenstärke, sondern auch die Form der Tischkante und der Platz hinter den Monitoren geprüft werden. BenQ gibt an, dass die Klemme bei normaler Nutzung übliche Holztische nicht beschädige, empfiehlt aber, sie nicht häufig anzubringen und abzunehmen. Diese Hinweise sind Herstellerangaben und wurden hier nicht praktisch überprüft.

Standfuß bei Glas oder ungeeigneter Kante
Für Glastische empfiehlt BenQ den optionalen ScreenBar-Max-Standfuß anstelle der Klemme. Er ist auch eine mögliche Lösung, wenn die Kante oder der verfügbare Freiraum die Klemmbefestigung verhindert. Prüfen Sie vor dem Kauf, ob der optionale Fuß zur gewünschten Aufstellung passt.
Positionierung und Monitorarme
BenQ empfiehlt einen Abstand von ungefähr 5 cm zwischen Lampenkopf und Monitoren, um eine blendungsarme Position zu erreichen. Die passende Höhe hängt laut Produktseite davon ab, ob die Monitore horizontal oder in einer gemischten horizontal-vertikalen Anordnung stehen. BenQ nennt außerdem die Verwendung mit einem oder zwei Monitorarmen als möglich, wenn die Leuchte mittig beziehungsweise zwischen den Armen platziert wird. Die verfügbaren Angaben ersetzen keine Prüfung der konkreten Platzverhältnisse am Schreibtisch.

Bedienung und Stromversorgung
Die ScreenBar Max wird laut BenQ über das mitgelieferte Netzteil mit Strom versorgt und lässt sich nicht über USB-C versorgen. Der USB-Kabelabschnitt ist laut Spezifikation 180 cm lang. Vor dem Aufbau sollte deshalb geprüft werden, ob die Kabelführung bis zu einer geeigneten Steckdose reicht.
Was sich aus den verfügbaren Angaben nicht beurteilen lässt
Die veröffentlichten deutschen Produktinformationen und die BenQ-Meldung für Österreich belegen Produktmerkmale und Herstellerpositionierung, aber keinen unabhängigen Labortest. Für dieses Modell liegt hier keine verifizierte unabhängige Messung der Ausleuchtung, keine Prüfung der Alltagstauglichkeit und keine Langzeitbewertung vor. Ebenso ist keine veröffentlichte unabhängige Studie zu Sehkomfort, Augenbelastung oder Nutzerzufriedenheit für die ScreenBar Max belegt. Ein Urteil über solche Punkte wäre daher nicht belastbar.

- Sie nutzen zwei Monitore und möchten eine Leuchte, die der Hersteller speziell für solche Arbeitsplätze positioniert.
- Ihre Tischplatte ist höchstens 6 cm dick und bietet genug Platz für die Klemme, oder Sie können den optionalen Standfuß nutzen.
- Sie möchten Helligkeit und Farbtemperatur stufenlos einstellen und Front- sowie Rücklicht getrennt steuern.
- Sie können die Leuchte mit dem mitgelieferten Netzteil versorgen; USB-C-Stromversorgung ist laut BenQ nicht möglich.
BenQ nennt die ScreenBar Halo 2 als Alternative für Arbeitsplätze mit wenig Umgebungslicht. Für eine sachgerechte Auswahl sind insbesondere Monitorzahl und -anordnung, der Bedarf an rückwärtiger Beleuchtung, das Umgebungslicht, Tischfläche und Befestigungsart sowie die Einstellmöglichkeiten relevant. Ein unabhängiger Direktvergleich und eine aktuelle Preisprüfung liegen nicht vor.
