Verdict: The BenQ INFTYLAB M Mouse PS01 is a Mac-focused wireless mouse that imitates several trackpad conveniences through its Glide software. It is most compelling for small-to-medium-handed Mac users who want a conventional, palm-supported mouse with Natural scrolling, configurable gestures and silent clicks. It is less suitable if you expect a trackpad without software, need independently verified battery life, or prefer a left-handed design.
What the INFTYLAB M Mouse is
BenQ introduced INFTYLAB as a Mac-focused desktop-accessories brand on September 3, 2026. The M Mouse PS01 is its launch product, with an announced MSRP of $119.99 and Amazon.com availability announced for September 9, 2026. The design goal is straightforward: retain the hand support and physical buttons of a mouse while reproducing familiar Mac interactions in software. It does not contain a trackpad surface. Trackpad-like smooth scrolling and gesture behavior come from the INFTYLAB Glide software.

Design and hand fit
The PS01 weighs 85 g and has a center arc intended to follow the hand’s resting curve. Grooves support the thumb and ring finger, while the palm area is shaped for small-to-medium hands. Clicks are designed to be silent, and the scroll wheel is aluminum.

BenQ says it used ultrasonic muscle-fatigue testing to validate comfort. That is a manufacturer claim rather than an independent measurement, and the published material does not provide comparative fatigue scores. There is also no confirmation of a left-handed version. Before buying, compare the mouse with your current model on four points:
- Whether your palm is supported without forcing your wrist upward.
- Whether the thumb and ring finger rest naturally in the side grooves.
- Whether your wrist stays neutral during long pointer movements.
- Whether lifting and repositioning the 85 g body feels easy for your grip.
How the Mac controls work
Natural or Standard scrolling
Glide lets you choose Natural scrolling, which follows the direction used by a Mac trackpad, or Standard scrolling, which reverses that behavior for a traditional mouse feel. Smooth-scroll tuning requires the Glide desktop app; it is not available through the mouse alone.

Function buttons and Quick Pie
Default macOS assignments include Mission Control, screenshot and horizontal scrolling. You can replace function-button assignments with shortcuts. Quick Pie opens a radial menu from a mouse button: move or click in a direction to trigger the command associated with that segment.
The browser version of Glide can set DPI, polling rate and three function-button shortcuts. The desktop app is required for smooth-scroll settings, scroll direction, side scrolling, Quick Pie, battery alerts and firmware updates in wired mode. In other words, the mouse works as a pointer without Glide, but the controls that make it feel Mac-like depend on software.

Connectivity and device switching
The PS01 can maintain up to five connections:

That five-device total is useful if you move between several Macs, a Windows computer or a tablet. The included USB-A adapter also covers older computers, while the USB-C receiver fits newer ports without a hub. The published specifications do not describe the exact button sequence or switch location used to change active devices, so consult the in-box guide for that operation.
DPI and polling-rate settings
Glide supports sensitivity up to 6,000 DPI. With the 2.4G receiver, you can select 500 Hz or 1,000 Hz polling; Bluetooth remains at 125 Hz. Higher polling can make pointer updates more frequent, but it may increase power use and is not automatically better for office work.

BenQ notes that default DPI differs between receiver or wired operation and Bluetooth. If the pointer feels faster or slower after switching connections, set DPI separately for each connection rather than assuming one value carries across all modes.

Glide supports macOS 13 and later, plus Windows 10.0.17763 and later. Basic configuration can be done without installing software in a WebHID-capable browser such as Chrome or Edge.

- Connect the mouse by USB-C, pair it over Bluetooth, or plug in the 2.4G receiver.
- Open Glide in Chrome or Edge for DPI, polling and up to three function-button shortcuts.
- Install the desktop app if you need Natural or Standard scroll direction, smooth-scroll tuning, side scrolling, Quick Pie, battery alerts or firmware updates in wired mode.
- Set DPI independently for wired or receiver use and for each Bluetooth connection.
- Assign Mission Control, screenshots, horizontal scrolling or your own shortcuts to the function buttons.
Is it better than a Mac trackpad or another mouse?
The PS01’s advantage is the combination of palm support, silent physical clicks and software-defined Mac controls. A trackpad still offers a larger gesture surface and does not depend on a mouse utility for scrolling behavior. Conventional Mac mice may offer simpler plug-and-play operation, while the PS01 trades that simplicity for Quick Pie, configurable shortcuts and three Bluetooth slots.

What has not been independently established
Official material does not provide independently measured battery life, click-latency tests, long-term durability results or benchmark comparisons with other Mac mice or a Mac trackpad. Treat claims about comfort validation as vendor-reported, and do not infer battery endurance or latency from the polling-rate figures.
Optional desk accessory
INFTYLAB also announced the Flow Desk Mat PLG01 at $34.99. It uses a faux-leather surface with rubber backing and is tuned for the M Mouse’s glide. It is an optional surface, not a requirement for operating the mouse.
Bottom line
The INFTYLAB M Mouse PS01 is a specialized Mac mouse rather than a trackpad replacement. Its strongest case is a user with small-to-medium hands who wants a supported palm, quiet clicks, five-device flexibility and Mac-style scrolling without giving up a traditional mouse shape. Buy it with the expectation that Glide is part of the product: the smooth scrolling, Natural direction and Quick Pie features require the app, and the published specifications leave battery life and long-term durability unverified.
